17/07/2025: Nice place, a bit of a long wait, let's hope it was a coincidence?

16/07/2025: A beautiful mountain hut reached after a steady climb through the woods (be careful if you're with strollers and children). Once you arrive, there's also a nice play area for children, and the food is delicious, served by young, helpful, and prompt staff! Highly recommended!

14/07/2025: Unfortunately, after a hike, we stopped for a slice of cake at the hotel bar. I say unfortunately because the location is truly beautiful, overlooking stunning mountains. Furthermore, the hotel, from what we could see, appears very beautiful and well-kept. However, we were "welcomed" by an absolutely unpleasant waitress, who responded coldly and annoyedly to our requests (I should point out that her colleague was more affable). When it was time to pay and leave, she greeted us rudely and annoyedly, obviously in response to ours. Furthermore, the cakes were of poor quality for a hotel of this kind, and especially for a mountain restaurant (considering that one of the cakes we ordered was a Sachertorte). An absolutely unpleasant experience that I wouldn't recommend.

14/07/2025: Something needs to be fixed regarding the meals not being refilled when the food was finished. And the buffet lacked a list of what was available.

05/04/2025: Never found a place like this. Everyone is extremely courteous and always with a sincere smile, huge dishes and prices that cannot be found due to the extreme honesty. I think there is no place like this for many km. Congratulations indeed

11/07/2025: A complete disgrace! We ordered a tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad and the goulash. They first brought a plate with a spoonful of mashed potato as a "snack," which we never asked for and for which they later charged 10 euros!!! The main courses were awful. The buffalo mozzarella wasn't buffalo, and it came with a few cherry tomatoes and some shaved white cabbage. Unbelievable. No wonder we were almost alone!

27/06/2025: Excellent quality restaurant located in a very convenient place near Piazza Walther in the center of Bolzano, I recommend it to everyone, I will definitely go back!

16/03/2025: We were a group of ten friends and we went san Leonardo to have dinner! The food was excellent! Best lasagna ever! Absolutely recommended!!!

14/03/2025: We visit restaurant with childrens.It is nice place for dinner for all family, quite big choice for each family member. Tasty pizzas, delicous salads, carpacio and another food. Recomend this place and next time when we will visit Alta Badia region we will definetly return to this restaurant! Thank you

22/06/2025: You park your car in Tann (after Collalbo, Renon and after a short walk you reach the restaurant. Breathtaking view, tables on the terrace. There is a man who turns chickens, sausages, pork ribs on the charcoal grill, which are served with potatoes and cabbage salad. On the menu there are various types of dumplings, breaded steaks, etc. I ate a wild herb salad with quail eggs. I liked it a lot. And then the legendary Kaiserschmarrn with cranberry jam. Finger-licking good. The service is perfect and fast. There is also a small play area for children and deck chairs for sunbathing or relaxing. The price is not exactly modest, but the whole package is worth what you pay.

01/06/2025: I often visit this restaurant for its strategic location, ideal as a base for excursions. However, in recent visits I have noticed a deterioration in the service: slow and inattentive. Some dishes arrived partially cold and, above all, the portions are decidedly small. It is clear that, when the raw materials in the kitchen begin to run low, the dishes are significantly reduced, without any communication or admission by the staff. What is most perplexing is the lack of flexibility and the absence of transparency of the manager. Those who choose from a list with the prices indicated expect quality and service in line.

14/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was very well organized, the staff was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our experience even better the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a great view. The entire stay was smooth and relaxing. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the service. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back!

06/07/2025: Il locale è caratteristico ed è gradevole la terrazza esterna, personale un po’ troppo “veloce” per la location, eravamo a cena e il locale non era pieno, per cui ci sarebbe stato modo di curare meglio il servizio, invece sembravano tutti rincorsi da un cane rabbioso. Menu’ con poca scelta. Cibo che non lascia traccia, ma il conto parecchio! Eravamo stati diverse volte, qualche anno fa, e siamo rimasti un po’ delusi per la proposta della cucina e i prezzi lievitati.

04/05/2025: We can only give 5 stars here. A super friendly team. The rooms are very modern. The pool can even be used at the end of April. Great breakfast! and unfortunately we only know this from stories, a great evening menu. Unfortunately we didn't know this beforehand. The head of the house cooks the menu himself every day. Even at breakfast nothing was left to be desired. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. What's also great is that you can use public transport to the nearest towns (Merano, Bolzano) free of charge. We'll definitely be back. Kind regards Florian and Heike

28/05/2025: A visit to Café Wandelhalle in Merano is a standard part of our itinerary whenever we're in South Tyrol. The service is always friendly and attentive, without exception. You can sit comfortably by the river (with the wonderful background noise) or under the arches and watch the passersby strolling by. They offer small snacks and drinks, and you can easily spend an entire day here with a good book.

05/07/2025: Lovely hotel, kind, helpful and professional staff, excellent cuisine with great attention to local raw materials, quiet, spacious and very nice rooms, private garden with sunbeds in the shade of a splendid walnut tree, great for relaxing. One consideration: the high temperatures at the end of June made us wish for air conditioning in the room, which instead there is not…

15/06/2025: Completely unsuitable for cyclists passing through. Really only for those who like to drink the homemade organic alcohol and are happy to pay three times the price for tiny organic portions. And you need a lot of time here. You have to wait a very long time for everything in the restaurant and at breakfast. We were simply looking for a quick place to stay with a sauna, wanted to eat something quickly, sleep in, and get going again in the morning. But we were completely in the wrong place, which the staff were happy to make clear (with the exception of a very, very nice young lady at the reception).

10/06/2025: Great food, homemade desserts, and reasonable prices for drinks. If you're all about the food and not the fuss, this is the place for you. The food is freshly prepared, meaning it's not a snack bar.

07/04/2025: Typical place where locals go for lunch. Subscription food is available. There are only a few dishes but they are very tastefully prepared and taste really good. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The waitresses are very friendly
