04/05/2025: Very light and digestible pizza. Wide choice with different combinations. Pretty quick service but when the place is a little fuller they are not well organised. Slow service, those who receive before others, things forgotten. From this point of view it needs to be reviewed. Slightly small internal space. The tables of 2 were quite close to each other, which may be annoying for some. Overall I recommend it.

29/06/2025: We spent two weeks at this hotel and can recommend it: a good atmosphere, a wonderful garden with both shady and sunny areas, and a beautiful, clean pool, a quiet location, and very friendly staff. The rooms were good, with balconies. It's just that our room was supposed to be 35 square meters, which can't be true. The breakfast was good and sufficient, though a bit of variety would have been nice. The behavior of some guests, who occasionally filled the lounge area with loud voices in the evenings, was not pleasant. Perhaps things would be a little different if staff were present in the evenings and the hotel weren't left to its own devices.

09/06/2025: Hope to not sound too much like an AI bot, or being payed, but I think this is a hidden gem. The nicest and best hotel staff I have ever met. Room are clean, breakfast is good and plenty, and just sitting at the pool is fantastic. Also just taking a nice hike around the hotel through the wine mountains was unforgettable. Overall, perfect for travelers. The hotel is located right in the middle of Merano and Bolzano. Train station is 6 min away by foot, and from there 20 min with the train to either city. With the hotel you get a public transport pass, making all trains and busses free.

04/05/2025: My partner and I, every year for his birthday, decide to celebrate in this wonderful structure. Staff attentive to the smallest details, welcoming and really kind. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The food is of excellent quality, both at breakfast and dinner. There is a parking space in the structure, certainly a convenience! For us it is a reconfirmation every year! Well done everyone!

01/04/2025: We stayed at Paradiso in September 2024. The location is truly unique – located in the middle of the Alpe di Siusi. The area offers excellent hiking tours, embedded in the beautiful Dolomites. The team is simply great: warm and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. In addition to the great location and the great team, the real highlight is the kitchen. As a non-vegan, I was surprised every evening by the fascinating creations - simply wonderful!

17/06/2025: A fantastic stay at the Mitterkaser Alm! A super cozy hut with a unique atmosphere. We received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. Before we continued along the Merano High Trail to the Eisjöchl Pass, we received great tips and advice. We definitely recommend spending the night there.

04/04/2025: Giornata meravigliosamente soleggiata e calda, ci siamo fermati sui tavolini esterni e abbiamo ordinato hamburger, patatine, currywurst e wurstel classico. Tutto strepitosamente buono! Servizio rapidissimo, porzioni abbondanti, prezzo onesto. Perfetto per rifocillarsi dopo qualche ora di trekking all'adiacente Castel Feder. Personale molto cordiale

20/06/2025: + Quiet location + Stayed in March as a skier, used the great shuttle service, was very impressed + Food was delicious + Would love to go back - The food presentation could be more beautifully presented, and there could be more organic fruit, such as pineapple pieces, than just fruit salad. I was there in March 2025, and the snow on the glacier was perfect for skiing. One day, I drove to Merano with my fellow travelers; it was green there. And white up above. I was recommended the hotel by a friend and would recommend it to potential hotel guests with a clear conscience. In conclusion, I can recommend the Hotel Gerstgras.

24/03/2025: We were guests at the Hotel Gerstgras in November 2024. The hotel is currently undergoing change. The reception area, the wellness area, the bar and the restaurant have been completely renovated and rebuilt. In the stairwell, the ski cellar and in the rooms you can still see the original condition. Overall we really had a great stay. The food was excellent, the breakfast particularly shined with an extraordinary selection of muesli (suggestion for improvement: add cream cheese as a spread and offer a bit of raw food such as cucumber and peppers). The wellness area is, as written, completely new and, in my opinion, exceptional.

18/07/2025: Beautiful terrace for outdoor seating; friendly and attentive service; excellent value for money; large Spezi, Pizza Sandheim, and Creme Brûlée for €23.80; and the pizza was good. Highly recommended!

13/07/2025: Previous reviews have already spoken, but I'll add my own super positive experience... we left from Foundres (free Dun parking) and after about 3 hours of hiking we reached the refuge, after a 1,100 m elevation gain passing by the idyllic lake of the same name... the guys were super helpful and kind. Rich dishes and a stunning structure... I even bought a T-shirt 👍🏻

29/01/2025: Absolutely my favorite hotel, a wonderful structure, 5-star services, friendliness and friendliness, excellent quality of food. Ideal for families and couples. Very close to the slopes and with a wonderful SPA area. If you are looking for a place to rest and unplug, this hotel is ideal. They have managed to maintain traditions and innovate with the times.
