01/11/2025: It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The property is family-run, which is important to us because we felt welcomed by everyone. The room was, first of all, spotlessly clean, furnished in a simple South Tyrolean style, bright, and overlooking a balcony with a beautiful panoramic view of the Plose Valley. The property is strategically located and very easy to reach, even by bus (344) from Bressanone station. The breakfast was rich and made with local products. It is located near starting points for many walking routes in the surrounding areas, particularly the Via del Castagno (Chestnut Route). Excellent value for money.

Added to this, the dishes are tasty and varied, so you never get bored of coming here every day. It was my first visit, but I'll definitely be back! Keep up the good work. They offer seating both inside and out.

08/09/2025: My review is only for the restaurant, where we've been three times over the years. It's almost a regular stop, as it's right in front of the parking lot where you leave your car and continue along the trails of the Oclini Pass, which I discovered in 2022. Following the main road is easy, with little incline, but beautiful views: ideal for those like me who no longer hike like they used to, and in 2022... let's forget about it. For outside guests, the restaurant appears simple in its layout and ambiance, with tables outside when the weather permits, or in the dedicated hall. The service, however, is impeccable, with "longtime" staff joined by seasonal workers only for the simplest tasks. The dishes are traditional, with excursions that here in Trentino and Alto Adige commonly include the Milanese steak and the ubiquitous carbonara, which we distance ourselves from. The portions are generous, so be careful when ordering; desserts, on the other hand, are slices for two or three people. A special mention goes to the wine list, not only for its variety, and sticking closely to the local area isn't a limitation, if this is the region; but also because you can choose wines from the list and have just a glass, or a quarter. Be warned: here in Trentino and Alto Adige, a glass of wine is cheap, but it's truly meager (0.1 l). In short, for around fifty euros for two, you can eat enough, with simple dishes done well—everyone knows how to mess around, and then they can give us big names—excellent service, in a quiet atmosphere, with tables close together so you can maybe even chat. Kudos to you.

02/09/2025: A well-maintained cable car, but unfortunately, decisions are made on an individual basis. Dogs are supposed to wear muzzles, actually. On the ride, the staff made it mandatory for the first large dog, but they didn't require one for the second, even though it was also a large one. They should simply ask the passengers if they were okay with it. On the other hand, bicycles are only allowed on board from 3 p.m. onward, even though there were only two passengers in the cable car on the previous ride. The price for the uphill and downhill ride is perfectly reasonable at €15. There's an additional €7 per bike.

24/09/2025: We've stayed at the hotel three times, and it's become one of our favorites. You can't help but feel at home. Mr. Toni and all the staff are simply fantastic.

27/08/2025: Service 20 out of 10 - Food 20 out of 10. Truly great - even with children. Elisabeth and Toni are simply wonderful hosts. They and their team offer service and cuisine (home-style) that would make any 5-star hotel green with envy. This is our third time here, and it's simply wonderful.

15/11/2025: One star to avoid giving zero. The food is terrible. The clerks are uninteresting. I had an elderberry syrup that was almost entirely watery. The puccia sandwich was very small and limp. Avoid this place.

19/10/2025: The hotel is truly beautiful from an aesthetic standpoint. Very fresh, clean, and in a modern yet elegant style. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The spa is very welcoming. However, there is only one open-plan relaxation area. The sun loungers and hot tub on the terrace are excellent. The pool is very charming. A small comment regarding breakfast: there aren't many options for those with dairy allergies or vegans.

19/10/2025: Stay from October 17 to 19, 2025: splendid room in size, finishes, and cleanliness. Half-board service with excellent breakfast and dinner. Professional and very friendly staff. Top-floor pool with retractable roof and views of the Castelrotto bell tower, saunas, and relaxation rooms. Superlative hotel.

07/12/2025: Pizza No. 1 I ordered for the first time I was on duty at the hospital in Bolzano but I can say that I haven't eaten such a good pizza in a long time, congratulations

19/11/2025: Management change, unfortunately not up to the previous owners' skills and reputation. - The pizza, eaten at the restaurant, is still good for Bolzano, but the dough is less fragrant than the "original." - I don't know how it holds up for takeout and delivery, having eaten there. - The staff is untrained and inadequate, even for a similar context, where management can be family-friendly and approachable. - While dining there on a typical Saturday night, I witnessed several scenes of delivery riders receiving the wrong pizzas or partial orders, takeout customers waiting for 20-25 minutes, additional reservations being rejected, and customers waiting at tables. Things that never happened before (mistakes) or that the staff knew what to do (high and unexpected traffic). Those familiar with the previous ten-year management appreciated the speed and precision of service, coupled with great kindness and respect. Now, it's just chaos and confusion, an overall mediocre experience.

17/10/2025: Alm was shown as open everywhere (even on very nearby signposts), but was actually closed.

05/08/2025: The staff is very friendly, and that alone is worth it. The food is good, with prices average for a place on the slopes. For four people, a dish costs €80 each, plus drinks.

12/07/2025: We had a really delicious dinner here. The goulash with speck knodel was super-tasty. Everyone was really pleased with their meals. The strudel was spectacular. Probably the best we had in our week in the Dolomites! The owner is lovely and is just such a character! Highly recommend!
