20/03/2025: Wow! Excellent service. I’m a vegan, and every night they specifically created a special 4 course meal just for me! Service excellent. Nothing was ever a problem. Never waited more than 5 mins for the shuttle bus. They truly go above and beyond. Excellent views and so conveniently located to everything you can need. It’s the best hotel in the area for sure!

13/02/2025: The hotel has a very nice hotel bar, there was even live music that evening, which contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately there were few guests on site that evening. The cocktail 🍸 prices are appropriate for the high-quality location.

22/10/2024: Coming from the Würzjoch, it's a short hike, a lovely place to rest and recharge. Great views, and you can continue on to the summit cross.

17/10/2024: CLOSED!!! Unfortunately the Maurerberghütte is NOT open. Unfortunately the website says something different. Too bad.

19/04/2025: Family lunch 2 adults and 2 children, friendly and welcoming staff, warm and welcoming place. Excellent and good sized dishes. Very recommended. Quality costs around €25 each.

08/04/2025: Very nice hotel in Merano. The rooms are comfortable and some are still somewhat old-fashioned. I had a newly furnished single room on the 4th floor and was very satisfied. The city center can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.

Unfortunately, really underwhelming. The service was also something. How should I say this, arrogant. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant.

20/05/2025: Our experience was extremely unpleasant, to the point of leaving us humiliated and deeply offended. During the visit, one waitress in particular was incredibly rude, arrogant and – what’s more serious – openly racist. When we first arrived, our group was treated with condescension, ignored for a long time despite the place not being full. When she finally spoke to us, her tone was contemptuous and sarcastic, as if our presence was a nuisance. During the service, she made offensive comments, looking down on us and addressing us in a way that was clearly discriminatory compared to other customers. When we politely pointed out her unacceptable behavior, the waitress raised her voice in front of the entire place, embarrassing us and provoking general attention. Not only did she not apologize, but she doubled down with even more rude behavior. What hurts the most is the indifference of the management: no one intervened to apologize or to correct the situation. In an era in which respect and inclusiveness should be the basis of every activity open to the public, such behavior is intolerable. We will never return and we invite anyone who cares about respect for human dignity to avoid this restaurant.

22/03/2025: We went for dinner on the last day of the season. The restaurant was quiet and they were missing several dishes from the menu, but the ones we tried were delicious. The attention was very good.

04/06/2025: Oh my...the risotto was great, but we waited forever for it. And you shouldn't be hungry. The portions are enough to fill a child, but not an adult. The prices are almost at Swiss levels these days. World's best Kaiserschmarrn? Mine is better, and the half spoonful of apple sauce was more of a decoration than a side dish 😀 But the Chinese and Americans will definitely like it.

03/06/2025: 🌄 A great place in the heart of the Dolomites! We stopped in for a bite to eat - we had pork ribs with potatoes, then they served us a gorgeous local meat platter. Everything was incredibly tasty, the meat was tender, aromatic, and smoky. The atmosphere was cozy, the view was like a postcard, and the staff was friendly. I'll definitely come back if I'm nearby!

19/04/2025: Pizzeria Principe in Meran – a place where the palate dances! For us, the Pizzeria Principe in Merano is more than just a restaurant – it is a real experience. Every dish that comes to the table here is a small work of art. The flavors, the quality of the ingredients, the perfect preparation - simply incredible. From the first bite you can tell that they cook with passion here. The palate literally explodes with happiness! But what really makes this place special is the team. The staff is so warm, friendly and familiar that you immediately feel at home. You will be welcomed with a smile, served attentively and pampered all around. This warmth and hospitality can no longer be taken for granted these days - it is appreciated all the more here. For me, the Pizzeria Principe is an absolute favorite place in Meran. Anyone who has eaten here once is guaranteed to come back. Thank you for so many wonderful moments of enjoyment!

26/03/2025: Very nice location. The pizza is average, quite good with generous toppings, but could be improved by making it slightly thinner and/or crispier. Quick and friendly service, normal prices.

12/05/2025: I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone visiting Bolzano. The owners are incredibly friendly, honest, clean and the prices are very fair. I personally visited the restaurant with my family and we ordered food there. Even before the food arrived, I suddenly felt very unwell - I was tired and exhausted from the journey. So I asked to take the food and go back to the hotel. When I asked the restaurant owner to call me a taxi, he refused - not because he was unfriendly, but because he said I should save the money for the taxi. Instead, he insisted on personally driving me to the hotel in his own car. I will never forget this gesture. Such humanity and willingness to help are rare these days.
