19/04/2025: Hotel in ValGardena highly recommended. It is family run and you immediately feel welcome. Clean and well-kept environment. I also highly recommend the restaurant and bar, even to those people who do not reside at the aforementioned hotel

11/02/2025: Prime location, very quiet for being so centrally located. Reception and bar area is modern, warm and welcoming. The rooms, however, are due for renovation. Awful pillows, bed not very comfortable, bathroom probably +20 yrs old. The 4 star standard is rusty, at best. The hallways are less charming than a dorm or institution from the 80’s, with harsch lightning (very typical for Italy - don’t they sell LED with warm-white kelvin or dimmers there at all???). The restaurant is nice, but also suffer from too hard lightning. Bar and restaurant service was good, but someone in the management must seriously look after the staff hygiene. The smell of old sweat and stinky uniforms really can destroy the appetite, both to eat and return as a guest.

12/05/2025: After a day skiing in the Ortler mountain, Google Maps showed a beautiful garden restaurant to satiate our hunger. One of the most tasteful pizzas I've ever had. Plus, theres a kids playground.

17/03/2025: Excellent place for a break between caress descents. The roasted potatoes with chives were delicious and also the savoy cabbage salad with cumin seeds! The view is absolutely worth it.

03/05/2025: For the 2nd year in a row we came to do a short ski with you. Last year with 6 people and this year with 14 men. * Prime location * Good kitchen with a very extensive breakfast and wide choice for dinner. * Nice wine list * Spacious rooms * Good room service * Ample shuttle service to the lifts *Some very friendly staff Small minus: The bar closes way too quickly.... 11:30 PM is really early. On Saturday evening our bus left and dinner was shoved down our throats, 3 courses in 30 minutes is not pleasant. It was also not possible to pay by card for the wines that our group drank, it had to be in cash. You can expect us again next year and probably with an even larger group.

22/09/2024: Rustic family-run hut with friendly service. Very good Kaiserschmarrn. The journey was definitely worth it and the view is breathtaking.

19/08/2024: Una malga a gestione familiare che si raggiunge in un paio d’ore dal paesino di Ceves vicino a Ortisei. Percorso poco turistico e battuto quindi anche alla malga si trova poca gente anche ad agosto e questo la rende ancora piu apprezzata. Il panorma e’ bellissimo, i ragazzi che servono gentilissimi, tutti prodotti boologici in gran parte fatti da loro, abbiamo mangiato la polenta con il famoso formqggio grigio, da procare assolutamente, e i canederli in brodo, piu uno strudel eccezionali. Prezzi super onesti rispetto a quelli di zona. Ci sono anche giochi per i bambini. Insomma una bellissima scoperta.

06/04/2025: Since we didn't make a reservation, we took our pizza to go. All we can say is it was one of the best pizzas we've ever tasted. 😃 There is even an extra paper plate in the pizza box so that the pizza doesn't get soggy. Furthermore, the staff was extremely friendly. We'll definitely be back!!!!

12/05/2025: The hotel has a rock-solid 3 stars, which it really deserves. Our room was very nice and cozy! The name says it all and the food was really good. The employees are very friendly and obliging. I really liked that families with small children, motorcyclists and so on are equally welcome! Recommended!

21/04/2025: Beautifully renovated 3*** hotel with exceptional views. As a day guest, I like to rate the good selection at the new hotel bar: There are numerous special wines by the glass, far more than "just" the usual Vernartsch or Merlot house wine. Spritz drinks are also available in several variations, all at a really fair price. Tip Top!

09/05/2025: Super friendly team, they always try to offer you a place (but it's better to reserve in advance). Most recently at the bar. This time spontaneously the five of us in the garden. Very good food, reasonably priced. No wonder it's well attended!

05/05/2025: We had reserved a table for 10. Everything was great! The food was delicious, the service was attentive and the ambience in the large square was perfect until late at night! Highly recommended.

24/04/2025: I relied on the reviews and was not disappointed at all! The tartare, the steak, the asparagus rice and the chocolate cake: all super!!! the wine list is truly worthy of recognition. I recommend with my eyes closed!!
