01/10/2025: Wonderful restaurant with even more wonderful staff. The tasting menu and wine pairing were fantastic. My wife and I visited 3 times in as many days and the staff was extremely friendly each time. Highly recommended if staying in the Dolomites.

25/09/2025: One of the culinary experiences that will remain most memorable for me, a very refined restaurant located in an old 17th-century farmhouse, a listed building as one of the very few such old farmhouses in the area, and whose rooms have been preserved as they were originally. The short tour was very enjoyable; the cuisine is all made with local ingredients and artfully reinterpreted with a modern twist by the chef. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, explaining the dish after serving it. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and the price is reasonable for everything.

05/09/2025: We were there in September 2025. It was the finest. Everything was perfect. A cozy place, friendly staff, very good food, OK prices. Other restaurants could take a leaf out of the lantern's book.

02/08/2025: We had a wonderful, unforgettable evening at the Astra Restaurant. Melanie and Gregor treated us very warmly and offered us an incredible menu. We've never experienced such an experience involving literally all of our senses in any gourmet restaurant before – absolutely outstanding! We had a wow moment with every course, with the presentation and arrangement at the table. We also had a magnificent view from the terrace. We are absolutely thrilled and hope to return soon. 13/10/2025: 2 km from Laion, along the main road leading to Ortisei. Bus stop nearby. Spacious, warm, and clean rooms. Very kind and helpful owners. We opted for half-board, and the food was excellent, with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts, as well as a generous vegetable buffet. Convenient parking. Definitely recommended for those staying in the area.

02/10/2025: The pizza was good, and the beer was expensive at €6. We used this spot for one night; the adjacent road to the highway to Bolzano is very noisy, even late at night. We weren't informed over the phone that we had to pay an additional €10 for the overnight stay after the €40 restaurant visit. Bottom line: once and never again.
