Beautiful location with a cool interior, something very hard to find in these hot months in Volterra. Professional and polite staff. Excellent food quality.

We visited Hostaria Il Sacco Fiorentino and were absolutely delighted. The stylish and inviting atmosphere is immediately noticeable upon entering the restaurant, making it easy to linger. The cleanliness deserves special mention – even the restrooms were spotless, which, unfortunately, isn't always the case. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. As a guest, you truly feel welcome and well cared for. The food was simply outstanding. All dishes were freshly prepared, tasted exquisite, and presented with great attention to detail. It's clear that quality is a top priority. While the prices are slightly above average, they are absolutely justified given the quality of the food and the excellent service. This is a restaurant we would gladly return to anytime. A clear recommendation and a well-deserved 5 stars!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, getting lost in the various alleys, and were pleasantly surprised. We ate outside on the terrace, taking advantage of the beautiful day, choosing a table in the shade. We asked if we could have a mix of cheese and cured meat platters, and they obliged (thank you so much 🙏). They were truly delicious! Afterwards, we ordered pappardelle with hare sauce, tortelli pizzicati, and the real tagliata. What can I say, everything was truly excellent. A glass of wine and "cheers!" P.S. I also had a problem with the card when paying, but they were super kind (and I was super nervous :)) and everything was resolved! Thank you, thank you!

Praise for the food: pasta, meat dishes, desserts. The staff's recommendations worked - wild boar with chocolate. But the most compliments are the staff's attention and pleasant communication throughout the dinner with everyone, including our company's baby☺️ Thank you. I strongly recommend it. We stumbled upon this restaurant and were delighted. We had no regrets; we opted for the dining room rather than the terrace: a beautiful setting, elegantly set tables, attentive service, and refined cuisine. The prices were reasonable, both for the food and the wines and drinks.

In Tuscany you can't go wrong when eating...but here we are at a higher level in terms of quality and courtesy....and then there was the Tignanello....so everything TOP.

Adequate price. But the real plus is the service: attentive, friendly, professional, and fast. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Congratulations. Absolutely worth a try.
