18/08/2025: Family pizza dinner. We weren't very happy with the selection, nor with the pizzas themselves, which weren't very tasty. The cheesecake was truly disappointing. We won't be back.

16/08/2025: Maremma: A Journey Through Time and Heart Imagine waking up to the peace and longed-for silence of Tenuta Fattoria Vecchia. The air, still fresh and clean from the morning, carries with it the scent of cypress trees, silent sentinels of this corner of paradise. From your bed, you see the golden sunlight filtering through the window, illuminating the ancient exposed beams, while birdsong drifts from the garden. The panorama that opens before your eyes is a hymn to beauty: the rolling Maremma hills embrace one another in an endless embrace of green, and to the west, on the horizon, like a promise, the thin blue line of the sea appears. About 200 meters underground, they uncovered a complete fossil skeleton, that of a hominid that lived 8.5 million years ago: the Oreopithecus. Affectionately nicknamed "Sandrone," this fossil brought Baccinello to international prominence and finally made the dream of Swiss paleontologist Johannes Hürzeler come true. ​Walking through this land, you almost sense Sandrone's presence, imagining that he too admired the same hills and breathed in the same scents. You're no longer just a tourist, but a time traveler, moving between the present and an incredibly distant past. ​From your farmhouse, the hills seem to gently roll towards the sea, and the blue horizon beckons. A few dozen kilometers away, the Maremma coast welcomes you with a different, yet equally breathtaking, beauty. You can lose yourself in the charm of Castiglione della Pescaia, with its medieval castle and golden beaches, or enjoy the vast pine forests of Marina di Grosseto. ​But it's the Argentario that captures the soul. An island joined to the mainland by strips of sand, where the sea has unique colors and cliffs plunge into the crystalline water. Here are Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano, picturesque ports rich in history and life. 17/08/2025: The two of us went for lunch today, drawn by the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I have to disagree. The setting on the terrace is very charming, with a beautiful view. However, we were disappointed by two things: four croutons and cherry tomatoes, hastily arranged and unremarkable, and above all by the biblical waiting time. We waited over an hour for the two first courses, and only when I asked for the bill before they arrived did they miraculously arrive in 3 minutes! And it was gnudi with wild boar ragù on top. Cooking time, precisely 3 minutes. Customer service comes first and foremost through these things! What a shame.

11/05/2025: There were two of us for an aperitif: platter and the owner's craft beer. All fantastic and delicious! At really low prices! We were happy, in this beautiful village we found welcoming and kind owners! Highly recommended, very enthusiastic, worth a visit! ☺️

19/08/2025: 3 micro-fried foods, 1 octopus sandwich (simply boiled octopus placed inside the sandwich), 2 Cokes, 1 water, €80... apart from the immense amount of sand inside a squid that is still scraping my teeth as I write this, and the mini portions (I understand that in Tuscany they are stingy with the quantities), this place calls itself street food and then serves restaurant-like portions and prices. Bottom line: spend the same and go to a serious restaurant.

22/06/2025: Una volta, lo scorso anno, non mi trovai bene. Questo anno sono già due volte che ci torno. Atmosfera top, barche a vista sullo sfondo, gente giusta e brezza che rinfrescava la giornata. Camerieri vecchi e nuovi col sorriso sulle labbra. Opto per calamarata di polpo, secondo il caciucco di moscardini, più un branzino con verdure. Ottima tutto, giusto il conto. Abbrevio stavolta, sicuramente l’ho recensito positivamente più volte, qui si va sul sicuro.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de nuestra visita a este restaurante tenía varias comidas aquí desayuno cena y té todo el personal muy agradable muy amable tuvimos el filete de florentina para el té una noche que era muy agradable y mucho de él tuvimos para 2 personas, pero fácilmente podría ser para 4 personas. El desayuno tenía varios pasteles que son muy agradables también

05/08/2025: Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We had lunch and they gave us all excellent local and home-grown products! Wild boar ham, salami, cheese, tomatoes! Everything was excellent and the waiter Alessandro was very kind and very nice!! Highly recommended!!!!
