We came for our honeymoon and got upgraded to a stunning room with a dreamy Tuscan view. Everything was spotless, stylish, and full of charm. 02/10/2025: Overall, we were very disappointed; the extremely positive reviews had predicted a great hotel. The hotel room's entrance sign was torn, the glass in the entrance door was painted over, or whatever; it certainly didn't look good. Some of the loungers by the pool were in a desolate state! The room was rather plain, the cleaning was poor, the shower was a compact plastic coffin with slightly moldy joints. A tiny closet in which you could only hang a few things, and only hang them! The food wasn't great either; it was very oily and greasy. The service was very attentive and friendly! A nice cold pool (supposedly heated) and the view is great. But is that enough! We won't be repeating this! I'm curious to see how long my review will remain on the hotel's website, or whether it will be removed so that the "great" hotel can continue to boast a 4.7 rating!

16/10/2025: Delicious food, but when we asked for the bill, they had left the menu on the table, and the prices on the ticket didn't match the menu. I was charged incorrectly for everything I ordered. I complained and was charged €6 more. Mistake? Coincidence? Since I was a tourist.

05/10/2025: Ordered fresh porcini mushrooms, which were completely overcooked. Such a shame! The chef clearly doesn't know how to prepare porcini mushrooms. The mushrooms were just a tasteless mess. There was no flavor whatsoever. Indescribable! Service was partly trying, but otherwise overwhelmed. The seating is nice, but otherwise, I can't really recommend it. In terms of quality, it's one of the worst restaurants we've visited in Capalbio and the region.

29/09/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant in Capalbio with a lovely terrace. Seafood menu, good wine list, very elegant atmosphere, and friendly, welcoming staff. A regular stop when I'm in Capalbio. They should change the menu more frequently.

15/09/2025: What can I say... what a discovery! At La Selva in Capalbio, the food is amazing: every dish we saw left us speechless. From the appetizers to the first and second courses, everything was top-notch, so much so that we couldn't resist ordering dessert too... and it was yet another confirmation.

12/10/2025: Picturesque atmosphere and local fish: mullet and eels...

11/10/2025: Great! The catch of the day is served, with simple yet authentic dishes. We went back twice in four days without batting an eyelid. We ate pici with DOP lagoon bottarga and a portion of marinated eels. The service was fast and the waiters were very kind and friendly. Reservations are essential. I recommend asking for a table on the veranda to enjoy a stunning sunset over the lagoon.

30/09/2025: We had dinner there three times during our vacation and were always served pleasantly and had excellent meals. We'd love to come back.

21/09/2025: In the Castiglione della Pescaia area, there are indoor and outdoor tables, good food, both presentation and taste. The lobster, the various first courses and tacos are excellent. The staff is friendly and professional. A little expensive, but just look at the menu prices before sitting down.

19/09/2025: The staff were friendly, but if you don't order the third course, they ask you: "Are you finished yet?" "Not even dessert?" "Already?" I ordered "Zuccia" from the menu. I asked for clarification, and was told, "It's similar to cacciucco." When they brought the bowl of liquid broth with two picturesque celery sticks, I wanted to get up and leave. I'm writing this review so that others don't fall into this same disappointing situation.

21/09/2025: This is one of the few restaurants in the center that we hadn't tried yet. The place is very welcoming, as is the staff. We had a clam soup as an appetizer and paccheri with the catch of the day—umbria and cherry tomatoes—for our first course. I found the dishes delicious and flavorful, with generous portions. A nice wine list with some interesting labels. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area.

07/09/2025: While vacationing at the Baia Verde campsite, we discovered this restaurant. What can I say? The fried fish with battered vegetables melts in your mouth. Among the best we've ever had. The seafood mezze paccheri are exceptional. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was in line with the dishes; the staff was helpful and very friendly. It's sad to see reviews from a few years ago referring to another management lower the rating. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended!

06/09/2025: Delicious food and friendly service, although the dessert (cheesecake) was a bit small. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes on the terrace, so don't forget your mosquito spray.

07/09/2025: Perfect for an Aperol in Orbetello! They offer five snacks to accompany your drink, no cover, and the prices are excellent. What more could you want? We'll definitely be back!

10/09/2025: Indoor dining for those who feel the cold, with well-arranged outdoor tables for dinner with friends or family. Excellent meat and seafood platters, and a very good house wine from the Scansano winemakers. Good service, clean bathrooms. It was a pleasure meeting the owner, Fabio, who ensured we had a wonderful evening.
