22/09/2025: A very charming little place. We ordered a lovely platter of cold cuts and cheeses and a good wine. Highly recommended. Located in a small alley in the center of Grosseto, the staff are very friendly.

15/12/2025: A marvel, a unique discovery. I was very hungry, it was eight o'clock in the evening, and I stumbled upon it by chance. It was a stroke of luck because I ate really well. The wild boar stew was excellent, with excellent sautéed vegetables. I'll definitely be sure to stop by there at eight o'clock every time I'm back in Rome. Until next time, thank you.

02/11/2025: One Sunday in early October, we found ourselves in Santa Fiora with our dog, without having booked for lunch! Luckily, we were welcomed at Enoteca Aldobrandesca with extreme kindness, delicious dishes, water, and cuddles for our dog Bella. Recommended!

26/08/2025: Given that the place was half-empty, they seated us in a damp, pungently smelling basement space, which could have been considered "typical," and we were the only table occupied. When it came time to order (taglieri, lampredotto, crostoni, etc.), we asked for two bottles of water: the owner, in an annoyed and rude tone, turned around and, as he walked away, said, "Yeah, okay, but I sell wine." At that point, we preferred to get up and leave. This kind of attitude, especially toward tourists, is the reason why certain places and businesses will die: when it's too late, perhaps they'll understand how they should have treated tourists/customers. P.S.: We ate an excellent sandwich across the street, spending a fifth of what we would have spent inside. Edit in response to the restaurant: Probably "the gentleman" told her the facts his way, and she thought it best to misrepresent the rest of the story: 1- We didn't order "2 small bottles of water," but platters (€25), lampredotto (€9.50), pappa al pomodoro (€9), crostone (€8) + 2 large bottles of water (€5) + 4 place settings (€6) (otherwise, what would have been the order you're referring to?!) 2- "Simply pointed out"?! As soon as we said "two bottles of water, please," he stopped writing the order, literally snatched the menus out of our hands, and, walking away annoyed, said, "Yeah, fine, but I sell wine." 3. Being polite people, he calmly and ironically said, "We didn't understand, you only sell wine," just to make "the gentleman" think about whether he might have been misplaced (obviously a failed attempt). 4. Regarding the calculations you made, reread point 1 and you'll understand that you were referring to the cost we would have paid with you compared to what we paid elsewhere (but then, excuse me, a garlic and oil bruschetta on the menu costs €4, and you come and tell us that the cured meat sandwich (not on the menu) costs €3?) Let me give you a piece of advice: "Even if you're no longer young, mistakes can happen; an apology would have been enough."

18/02/2026: The raw fish is amazing! 🐟 Excellent and very fresh ingredients. A must-try in Grosseto, I'll definitely be back!

23/11/2025: The food was very poor and hard to digest. There was no menu and therefore no prices. The owner recommended the famous Tris appetizer, which surprised us at €44 for two, and €22 each for the three-piece appetizer. We felt cheated. I strongly recommend providing pricing information to customers to avoid disappointment. The service was good, the waitress was attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming, but too expensive for what you get.

27/08/2025: It's a shame that the negatives prevail because the food is good. The positives: Excellent dishes like the risotto and the panna cotta, but they lack refinement. A sublime setting in the middle of nowhere. The negatives: The reservation, where I had specified that it was to celebrate a birthday, was not noted, and if I hadn't received the reservation email, I think we would have been politely told to leave. You can imagine that there was no attention paid to the birthday party. We clearly felt like we were intruding and/or they were overwhelmed because there was an extra table. The wait was very long, and longer than the tables next to us. There were two adults and a child. The child got his meal first and had time to eat it before we were served... No apologies from them, shifty looks from the waitresses... The other tables had a basket with salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. available. Not us... Very, very little choice for the children. In short, behaving like this towards customers is completely unprofessional. While wanting to share my experience, I saw that I wasn't the only one to have experienced this.

26/08/2025: Stunning location, meticulously maintained and surrounded by nature, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, the charcuterie and cheese platter was among the best I've ever had, and the wine was excellent, too.

07/01/2026: Discovered by chance, returning home after the holidays in early January. Truly hospitable, the service was prompt and courteous, and the food was excellent. Mrs. Daniela told us the story of her ancestors and the pasta factory they opened in the late 1800s. I must mention the ricotta and spinach tortelli she made, which are without a doubt the best I've ever tasted, with a delicate ragù. We took some portions home, which I ate again today, finding them superb. The ribollita soup, the lemon veal cutlet, the baked potatoes, and the bruschetta and crostini as appetizers were delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't try the wine because I had to drive. The price was fair. If I may say so, this cuisine certainly reflects passion and a heartfelt craft, and believe me, the result shows. I highly recommend it.

30/12/2025: Home-made food, as well as the welcome...a nice discovery, and we'll see you soon to try the pizza too.

22/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant. The service was poor. The staff were friendly but not in tune with the food. We had a long wait before and after, with a dirty plate in front of us for far too long. Two and a half hours for two appetizers and two first courses. Off-menu dishes include daily specials, which are announced by the waitress, so be careful with the price. Pici with lobster cost €32, with a cover charge of €3 for two cutlery and paper napkins. I don't recommend it.

22/02/2026: Unfortunately, it's impossible to give less than one star. Very rude staff. Terrible experience.

08/12/2025: "Il Fornetto Squalo Charlie" is the epicenter of pizza al taglio on the Argentine peninsula. More than a cliché, it's an institution... 😂 Try it and believe it.

21/07/2025: Great side of the road restaurant - we walked in for lunch and had a great wild boar ragu and clam pasta (that had so so many clams in it) at extremely reasonable prices!

22/11/2025: A beautiful spot right by the small harbor for dinner. The black spaghetti was an explosion of flavor. The fried seafood, on the other hand, was rather average, 3 stars.

21/09/2025: A lovely place on the Giglio harbor. Unfortunately, the risotto was drained and mixed with the seafood, as was the spaghetti with clams, which were loose and tasteless. A raw meagre arrived, completely covered in tomato pieces. We notified the waiter, and to be honest, it wasn't included in the final bill. The ingredients were excellent, but in my opinion, the chef was lacking.
