The first restaurant we ate at upon arrival in Capalbio. A distinctive atmosphere for a historic establishment, where the beauty of the location and the view complement the delicious dishes. Authentic Tuscan cuisine, authentic and simple, yet never banal.

Decent food. Nice little square, but gazebo with bright lights. Atmosphere could be improved. Very, very slow service. Too bad. Expensive for the quality and quantity of food.

The food was excellent and the waiters were attentive, offering truly spot-on recommendations. They also offer good organic olive oil, and the wine menu features a selection of local wines. We cleaned our plates because they were so delicious; the setting was like something out of a movie.

A typical restaurant with a picturesque view. Friendly staff and attentive service. We had the cacio e pepe and carbonara, both excellent and generous. The grilled sausage and grilled vegetables were delicious. The lemon sorbet with mint was delicious. Average price.

Pizzeria Stella Marina

10/08/2026: Village in its heyday. It's a sort of turn-off village for the road next to it, and a through street/road to Talamone. But by hitting the brakes just in front of Marina's door... we enjoyed their fries, 100% perfect... and that for a Dutchman who fries his own fries... they are so good here. And the chicken nuggets were perfect too ;-) applause. Highly recommended. They are closed on Mondays! That's not convenient during the holidays ;-) then you have to step on the gas, I would advise. Good luck.
01/08/2026: Unbeatable value for money. The five stars are all for the pizza, which in my opinion is truly excellent and very digestible: light dough and quality toppings, as well as generous. We also tried the fried fish (€13, although here on Maps the price is €10): the portion is fair, certainly above average, and overall good (even if the fish flavor is subtle), but it felt a bit heavy for me over the course of the evening.

18/07/2026: Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent restaurant and standard room with a large welcome kit
15/07/2026: The staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was basic but good. Unfortunately, I must point out that the room lacked a refrigerator, which I think is essential in the summer. The lady kindly kept some ice packs and a bottle of water in the freezer for us. However, not being able to drink cold water in the room was a bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise, it's a dated but functional property, convenient for its location.
