The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms deserves an A+... the truffle ravioli is equally impressive... the owner is friendly and knowledgeable... 5 stars.

09/09/2025: Simply a wonderful place to eat. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed... Plus, Patrizia really stands out for her excellent service and kindness. She made us feel welcome. This is becoming one of our favorite places for a casual lunch. Update: Still excellent... They offer a true trattoria experience—simple, good food, a friendly atmosphere, and prices rarely found these days—reasons to keep coming back! If only more establishments understood this concept, they would be successful.

Molto prevenuti, siamo andati carichi e pronti a risponderle con un bel vaffa alla prima scortesia, invece abbiamo trovato degli ottimi panini, personale gentilissimo, accogliente e Generoso; abbiamo ricevuto uno sconto non richiesto e in omaggio un assaggio di una cosa tipica. è proprio un posto da non ritornarci Se invece vuoi essere trattato male e mandato a quel paese dalla cassiera🤣

15/08/2025: Beautiful place surrounded by greenery, excellent wine and sangria. Very kind waiters, excellent desserts carefully prepared by Alice. I will definitely return to try Eleonora's mixed grill. I really appreciated the humbleness of waiter Nicola, even after the 8-0 defeat.

05/10/2025: I went with a friend, there was no one there, just a girl at the bar, maybe an acquaintance. We waited an hour and got a cold hamburger sandwich, definitely disappointing, nothing special, just the name. I don't recommend it.

27/09/2025: An experience to forget. We entered this restaurant only because we were caught in the rain and driven by hunger. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a truly unfortunate choice. The service was practically nonexistent: the bread arrived at the end of the dinner and the customer service was zero. We ordered a mixed fried fish dish with calamari, shrimp, and mixed seafood. We were served five microscopic shrimp and six squid rings. When we asked for clarification on the lack of mixed seafood, they brought us two slices of fried morena, with such an unpleasant smell that we had to open the windows. The bill? Horrifying, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food served. We pointed out the lack of mixed seafood, hoping for a common-sense gesture from the owner, but nothing. In hindsight, we would never have gone in. A place to absolutely avoid.

12/09/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant with many options, even off-menu ones. The fish is fresh and very well cooked. We had excellent tagliolini with sea bass and garlic and turbot with potatoes, both excellent. Prices are in line with other restaurants on the island. It has mostly outdoor seating and is close to the port, like almost all other seafood restaurants. The service was friendly and fast. I recommend dining here if you're looking for a seafood dinner in Giglio Porto. I also recommend making a reservation.

11/09/2025: What can I say? The best. You get the right price, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. If you're passing through Saturnia, you can't miss Mario's! After dinner, I recommend the apple pie with ice cream. It's delicious.

19/09/2025: On Giannella, a little inland from the main road, closer to Santa Liberata. Don't be fooled by the name: the main fish here is sea bass, and I know their supplier well. The trio of appetizers, paired with a first or second course for a fixed price, is an old-fashioned but still valid option, if done well. The wine is more than reasonable, the service is efficient and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they accept all menus. So why "only" 4 stars? Because the menu selection is truly limited, and the wine is a shame. It's fine to limit yourself to a few dishes, but even if you really want to come more often (I live nearby), you can't eat the same thing too often. A little more variety, even if limited to a few dishes at a time, wouldn't hurt.
