19/07/2025: I'm giving one star for the unfortunate inconvenience that occurred. I'll start by saying that I've been to this place before and had even recommended it to many friends and family, and we were thinking of returning as a group in a few days, but I won't. I was undecided whether to order the usual fillet, a grilled steak, or the picanha, which I'd never tried. So I asked the waiter about the cut of meat, which I'm unfamiliar with and have never eaten. I specifically asked if this cut of meat was tender; I actually asked several times to avoid any surprises, and the waiter assured me it was, and that if (it can happen, he said) the meat was ribbed and tough, I could just call him and he'd replace it for me without any problem. These are his words. So I ordered the picanha, which I must say arrived in a few minutes, so the service was very quick, but, alas, it was tough and barely chewable, even though I tried to avoid having my order changed, even though he'd assured me there wouldn't be any problems. So, after a few failed chewing attempts, I was forced to put the pieces I'd tried to chew back into my napkin. I called the waiter (much to my chagrin) and asked for a change. He told me it was no problem and that he'd have me reordered. To avoid the possibility of the next piece being equally tough, I changed my order completely and asked for a fillet. It was excellent, tender, and I ate it with pleasure. The returned picanha, however, was three-quarters left on the plate and one-quarter in the napkin, which, obviously, I didn't feel comfortable showing to the waiters or the owner (?) at the cash register, as I figured that since I DIDN'T EAT IT and the problem wasn't my fault, I obviously wouldn't pay for it. At first, I didn't even realize they'd included it in the bill, trusting what's commercially correct: that is, in general, defective goods should be replaced; it's the customer's right. They charged me €12 out of €22 for a piece of tough meat that I couldn't swallow and that mostly remained in the napkin and the rest on my plate, claiming that a certain amount was missing from the plate. Well, that won't happen next time, because I won't be back, but if I'd known, I would have shown the napkin!!! Even though I didn't think it was tasteless, and in fact, I didn't. I'm sorry, but the customer has no interest in not eating the dish they deliberately ordered; if the dish isn't good, it should be replaced without further additions. It's not a whim. And above all, the waiter told me there was no problem and that it could be tough, but it's usually soft. I repeat, I asked specifically to avoid any inconvenience. They may have earned an extra €12, which I practically gave them away, since it wasn't actually a payment for the goods sold. But they definitely lost a lot more, as the average price there is around €40-€50 per person, and I was planning to return soon as a group. Plus, I won't recommend it to anyone again, as I had done. Word of mouth is great advertising, and a satisfied customer is the best advertising for a venue.

22/08/2025: The place was beautiful and I liked it, the food was small portions. Then I asked for grilled fish and only 2 small calamari arrived which were not grilled and were tough. There was no fish, only 2 prawns and 3 large scampi. Everything here was nothing but a side dish for €25, you decide. I wasn't crazy about the food.

09/08/2025: One of the waitresses was rude; the dishes were appreciated, although the portions weren't generous for an osteria. There's a limited choice of main courses, but all in all, given the restaurant's seaside location and the quality ingredients, it's a place worth trying.

26/08/2025: The hotel is strategically located for reaching the beaches and the most beautiful spots on the Argentario. Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant serves very good food, including excellent pizza. Breakfast is basic. Highly recommended!

15/06/2025: I ate pici all'aglione for the first time, the torta ricciolina is also very good. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing.

02/09/2025: It's the first restaurant you come across coming from Rome towards Grosseto, after the end of the motorway, a little modest, but the food is quite good. I had ham (decent) and figs (excellent) and stewed wild boar, very good even if reheated in the microwave.

01/06/2025: Spectacular food, of a rare delicacy to find, the owner very kind and too nice. Not to be missed every dish is an explosion of flavors, we ate a stratospheric wild boar, pappardelle Al cinghiale, tortelli, tripe and desserts........ No, come on, you have to try them 😋😋😋. If you pass by Grosseto do not miss this joy for the taste buds

01/09/2025: I'm returning to my room delighted by the flavors of this restaurant, with its historic and elegant location and fantastic food quality. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms deserves an A+... the truffle ravioli is equally impressive... the owner is friendly and knowledgeable... 5 stars.

29/07/2025: In the historic center of Pitigliano, in one of the town's most charming squares, this restaurant combines sophistication and authentic flavors. The extensive menu offers traditional recipes such as tagliatelle with pigeon and stuffed pigeon, which we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as the house red wine. The service is professional and attentive. Waiting times are reasonable. Prices are high, but in keeping with the quality offered.

26/08/2025: I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with my family and my partner. The lunch was truly exquisite, from the appetizers (fantastic platters of cured meats and cheeses) to the first courses, which were truly exceptional. Their "Gnudi" in both versions are a must-try. The desserts are also expertly crafted. Definitely worth returning.

Here you'll find a delicious and authentic meal, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The portions are generous, and the quality is more than satisfactory. Ideal for those who want to eat well and quickly in a relaxed, uncomplicated atmosphere.

21/08/2025: Before visiting the Tarot Garden, we had lunch. We enjoyed some exceptional battered zucchini (from the garden), handmade pappardelle with wild boar, and a homemade tart with citron jam (from their orchard). A place where you feel right at home, run by Barbara and Nunzia, passionate people. It was a real pleasure meeting them and enjoying lunch with authentic food!

25/04/2025: Per questa giornata di festa ci siamo concessi qui un bel pranzetto a base di pesce: cozze un po' alla marinara, un po' alla livornese e ottimi spaghetti al Cartoccio, abbondanti, ricchi di pesciolino e saporiti, e per finire, dolci ECCEZIONALI fatti in casa. Il tutto servito da una Signora di una gentilezza senza pari, è stato davvero un piacere. Prezzi nella norma. Siamo stati benissimo.

24/07/2025: Wonderful place surrounded by greenery, clean pool with a wonderful view, we had lunch under an oak tree, it was great, all the dishes were delicious, the waitresses were kind and helpful, we will definitely be back

13/07/2025: The ideal place to find tranquility. You'll be pampered in a discreet manner by staff who love their work and are professional. The owner is incredibly serious and down-to-earth. The location is spectacular, ideal for relaxing by the pool or walking the estate's trails. The cellar is very well-kept; I can't drink wine, but I've stocked up to give to friends. For those who don't like being in touch with nature, we're in the countryside, with a wooded area. Fortunately, there are many insects, and the crops are organic; there's always a bee, wasp, or butterfly nearby. I sincerely hope to return next year. Lastly, a touch of art is present in every corner of the estate.
