Excellent meat, even when cooked through. Just how I like it. The house wine was drinkable and enjoyable. Highly recommended. The only downside is the limited parking.

We found this place almost by accident. The road to get there is narrow and all uphill. It's no coincidence that the restaurant is called "Lo strettoio" (The Strait), but once you get to the top, you won't regret it. You can see all of Florence! There's a lovely terrace where you can eat, and the interior is also very elegant. The food is delicious. The homemade gnocchi and tortelli are fabulous. The meat is delicious, and the desserts don't disappoint!

After several positive experiences at this restaurant, we decided to celebrate our daughter's baptism. We reserved the terrace, which has a wonderful view of Florence, as you can see from the photos. We were over 60 people, and the service was impeccable. The staff was always kind and helpful. Everyone loved the menu, and they repeatedly complimented the food. The pumpkin risotto with crispy pancetta and gorgonzola was a hit! Alex, the owner, made us feel at home every time. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming location but don't want to compromise on quality food!

The staff's kindness and attentiveness are the added value. The food is excellent and in just the right portions. The view helps you relax. Just a stone's throw from Florence, yet in the open countryside! Try it in the warmer months; it's worth it.

Lo Strettoio is one of my favorite places. The tartare appetizer was amazing, and the pici were also delicious. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. The view and atmosphere are spectacular and make the experience even more special. I'll definitely be back!

17/05/2026: Delicious taste, you won't be disappointed, highly recommended.
11/05/2026: The restaurant is okay. The service took longer than usual to get our food. I would say it took between 30 and 40 minutes to receive it. The food is the delicious but the portions are very small, so one course isn’t enough. You need at least two, and that’s the part I don’t like about the restaurant. The restaurant also provides alcohol drinks.They have seating both inside and outside, and they also offer vegetarian options.

17/07/2026: We loved this spot. Booked a reservation about 30 minutes prior and they had my name when we showed up. Great service better food and very friendly staff. We are tourists but were treated like locals. Get the gnudi and the Nona’s meatballs. Fantastic. Will be back. Amazing spot.
