06/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the guesthouse where I'm staying: absolutely spot-on. The atmosphere is welcoming, the wait staff professional and friendly. The food is excellent, very tasty (the Chianina beef ragù is spectacular), yet light. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: Six of us dined for lunch, having booked an hour in advance on a Sunday. We kindly asked for quick service because we had an engagement after lunch and were pressed for time. To make things easier, we ordered six identical dishes. We were served quickly, and the wild boar pici were delicious. Total price was €84 with two or three bottles of water and coffee. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer.

16/05/2026: The owners and staff are welcoming. The menu offers a good selection. Everything is delicious, from the homemade pasta dishes to the pizza, which is very easy to digest and flavorful. Generous portions. Highly recommended.

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!

02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

15/07/2026: We only had coffee, more of a mocha. Nice view outside, but the interior is dated and doesn't feel very hygienic. Unpleasant smells, a mix of smoked ham and toilets. So we didn't eat anything. The server wasn't very welcoming and cleaned with a cigarette in her mouth. All in all, very rustic, if that's your thing...

15/07/2026: The schiacciata was good but they only had a small piece, I asked if more schiacciata was supposed to come out and the answer was I don't know, the ham was too salty, the cheeses were sweaty (it was hot), too many flies inside the restaurant, good prices.

02/06/2026: We had lunch at Villa Maria on June 2nd. We had a wonderful meal: we ordered pici with ocio ragù and pasta with Maria's ragù, both generous portions and, above all, delicious. For our main course, I had a Chianina fillet, one of the best I've ever eaten. The house Chianti was also very good. A fantastic experience, if you're in the area, you should definitely return.

30/07/2026: We'd been to Crispi's several years ago during the Giostra del Saraceno, and as soon as we had the opportunity to return to Arezzo, we went straight for what remains, for us, the best burger in town! We ordered a Chianino and an off-menu hamburger and pulled pork sandwich: top-quality meat, cooked to perfection and served with crispy fries and their own truly amazing sauces. The option to customize the burger size is excellent, ranging from 180 grams to 300 grams (with super-large options for the most greedy!). Besides the exceptional food and beautiful location, a special mention goes to the staff: super courteous and professional. Special praise goes to the young woman who looked after us at our table, always with a smile from start to finish—a detail that's not to be taken for granted these days and that really makes all the difference. A true pleasure for the palate and the spirit. Congratulations to the entire team, see you next time!

04/07/2026: The food was above average, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, yet professional. Being in the city center, finding parking could be tricky, although there are several paid parking lots nearby. We ate outside; it was a bit crowded, but we had a good time. The cheapest sandwich and drink was around €20. We waited a little over half an hour for a table, but on a Saturday night, that's perfectly understandable.
