09/12/2025: My fiancée and I chose Il Giardino di Piero for an impromptu dinner, arriving just before closing time (9:30 PM), but we were nevertheless greeted with great kindness and hospitality. The interior is truly refined, with attention to detail and an elegant atmosphere. The historic sideboard on display is also very charming, with antique dishes that speak to centuries of history and tradition. The bathroom was clean and tidy, another plus. We ordered a beef tagliata with potatoes and a grilled meat, both accompanied by excellent baked potatoes: tender and flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. An added bonus is definitely the staff: professional, attentive, and able to speak several languages ​​(Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, and Russian), making this place particularly welcoming, even for foreign visitors. In conclusion: excellent food, a classy atmosphere, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

17/12/2025: This is a must-try place! It's a butcher's shop and grill with an incredible selection of meats and Tuscan products, presented with courtesy and expertise by the owners. The wine list is also excellent. The bill also reflects the quality of the dishes offered.

24/10/2025: Sartù is a tiny hidden gem down an alley that you wouldn’t notice unless you appeared down and saw some tables outside on the steps. But boy am I happy I went in there thanks to my host and TripAdvisor. This is a one chef one server restaurant at least in the fall months. The menu had the most delectable titles of dishes. My ravioli dish with red sauce (a rarity in Cortona) and ricotta and other cheeses was titled something like “when everything good comes together and is nice.” Hilarious and true. I also had a dish with a round of pork covered in local vegetables that felt like it had been cooked in a stewing pot. It was the most delicious thing I’ve eaten all week. And not stereotypically Tuscan cuisine like most of the other restaurants in town, though they did have some staples like the Chianina and white beans.

24/09/2025: Wow—what a hidden gem! Sartu absolutely blew us away. The steak was simply delicious (paired perfectly with an order of carrots), but what really took things over the top was the deconstructed cannoli—hands down one of the most unique and memorable desserts I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is incredibly intimate, with only 18 seats total. We felt so welcomed, and even the chef came out personally to say hello, which made the experience extra special. It truly feels like dining in a private kitchen rather than a restaurant. If you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommend—this is a place you’ll never forget.

Friendly and precise service; the staff is kind and attentive to your needs. The price is affordable and well-proportioned. Parking is not a problem. Well-deserved 5 stars.

14/01/2026: Fantastic meal in the historic heart of Loro Ciuffenna. On a pedestrian street, upstairs inside the quaint tower in the centre of town. Warm and cosy with windows overlooking the tower and river below. Locally sourced and seasonal produce, curated in every detail. The chef was wonderful, however we felt his father managing the dining room could be warmer in his approach to clientele. We would come back regularly to this gem.

07/01/2026: I live in Loro and have been coming to La Torre for years. For the atmosphere, the delicious food, and most recently—since yesterday—for the waitress, whom I already knew from previous restaurants, who has proven to be a valuable addition with her kindness and hospitality. The food is always delicious and tasty; I have a sensitive stomach, but in years and years, I've never had any digestive issues. The service is pleasantly slow, and you never feel like you have to get up and leave. The space itself is small and super welcoming. Keep it up, please!

04/11/2025: First class!! From check in to check out, Allen and his staff were wonderful. The full week of four-course meals prepared in their kitchen was nothing short of a culinary experience. The wine flowed with the conversations, and we met some amazing folks from all around the world. The Villa and rooms were clean and were kept well stocked with towels, water, and the wine was only a step away! We had a teary goodbye, which has NEVER happened in any of our travels.

22/10/2025: The rooms isolation was poor and we were freezing at the beginning of October. The restaurant was mediocre (in Tuscan level) But the service was great and the place is beautiful

21/09/2025: Spent 10 days in italy traveling north and south. Went to restaurant after restaurant, all better than the next. Then we found Osteria L'Orciaia, walking in felt like being invited into someones home. Its family run and quite literally the best of all our dining experiences. The family couldnt be more hospitable and the food couldnt have been better. Its the only location we had a meal at twice. When im back in italy, no matter where i land; i will travel here. An absolute 10/10, if you want a true italian experience you found it.

16/12/2025: A "rustic" place, with truly attentive and friendly service. I really liked the menu, written on several sheets of paper taped to a structure at the entrance. The pici all'aglione were delicious, and the meat was good quality. I can't comment on the price because I was offered the meal.

06/12/2025: The food was excellent. I had a very generous and delicious traditional appetizer, including a divine fillet with mushrooms and lard. I'll definitely be back. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

13/12/2025: A disappointing experience despite the positive reviews. It's a small osteria in a hamlet just outside Arezzo. We sat down for lunch; we weren't given a menu; instead, the owner/waiter verbally listed a selection of three or four first courses and four second courses. The quality was average to low, and the fact that everything was served within minutes of ordering suggests it was all precooked. The ravioli with meat sauce were decent, but the rabbit, fried long beforehand and then reheated in the oven, was inedible. Green beans with sauce were served on the side, but they were probably lemon-flavored beforehand. Nearly €60 for a first course, two second courses, two side dishes, two desserts, and a bottle of water wouldn't be too much, but forget about the flavors of Tuscan cuisine.
