07/08/2024: I gave this place more chances since my brother found himself working for a couple of months in Casarano and his house was literally 200m away, but despite the countless positive reviews it's a no for me. Let's start from the assumption that when I read risto-bar I expected to find a varied menu but instead it is simply a pizzeria. The thing that left me even more amazed was an anecdote told by my brother where one afternoon he wanted to have a coffee outside the house, but they refused, almost annoyed, to serve him because "coffee is reserved for customers". This logic could hold when you were a "pizzeria" but evidently the sign needs to be reviewed or at least understood what they mean by risto-bar. Decent pizza for the proposed price. The last time I went I got a takeaway pizza (only because I didn't have a car) for me and my nephew. 2 portions of chips, a red pizza with frankfurters, a margherita with onion and salami €25. Chips very plentiful but clearly fried at least 2 times and a lot of salt. I wasn't given any sauces (you have to ask for them). In my opinion the price is not justified either by the place which does not seem particularly touristy to me, nor by the quality. I may be biased because, living in northern Sicily, I am used to spending much less (24 hour leavening pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven) eating at the Marina right in front of the Aeolian Islands. For me it's a no.

06/08/2024: Ho dato più possibilità a questo locale visto che mio fratello si è ritrovato a lavorare un paio di mesi a Casarano e casa sua si trovava letteralmente a 200mt, ma nonostante le innumerevoli recensioni positive per me è un no. Partiamo dal presupposto che quando ho letto risto-bar mi aspettavo di trovare un menù vario invece è semplicemente un pizzeria. La cosa che mi ha lasciato ancora più sbalordita è stato un aneddoto raccontato da mio fratello dove un pomeriggio voleva prendersi un caffè fuori casa, ma si sono rifiutati, quasi infatuati, di servirlo perché “il caffè è riservato ai clienti”. Questa logica poteva tenere nel momento in cui foste stati “pizzeria” ma evidentemente il cartello è da rivedere o quanto meno capire cosa intendono per risto-bar. Pizza discreta per il prezzo proposto. L’ultima volta che sono andata ho preso d’asporto (solo perché non avevo la macchina) una pizza per me e mio nipote. 2 porzioni di patatine, una pizza rossa con i würstel, una margherita con cipolla e salame 25€. Patatine molto abbondati ma palesemente fritte almeno 2 volte e molto sale. Non mi sono state date le salse (le dovete chiedere). Il prezzo secondo me non è giustificato nè dal posto che non mi sembra particolarmente turistico, né dalla qualità. Sarò di parte che abitando nella Sicilia settentrionale sono abituata a spendere molto meno (pizza a lievitazione 24h cotta in forno a legna) mangiando alla Marina proprio di fronte le isole Eolie. Per me è un no.

17/08/2024: Personale sveglio ed efficiente,portata di acqua e vino tempestivamente,con tanto di antipasti per l attesa,frittura mista eccezionale senza troppa pastella,in modo che si potesse sentire la natura del cibo E spaghetti con le cozze,anche se ci stavano bene più cozze ,ma tutto sommato,si mangia bene e lo consiglio ai futuri clienti ☺️🙂

17/08/2024: Cucina pessima tre primi che non sapevano di nulla insalata di mare insapore frittura gommosa e non dico altro ,servizio scadente lui presuntuoso e indisponibile ecc.ecc. da dimenticare andate ovunque ma non li qualità prezzo inesistente soldi rubati praticamente

17/08/2024: Stabilimento nella norma, ombrelloni un po' vicini tra loro ma nulla che non si possa sopportare. Nota negativa il servizio navetta ed il personale, nello specifico l'autista della navetta maleducato e scontroso. Al nostro arrivo tutti i parcheggi erano completi quindi ci hanno mandato a parcheggiare nel parcheggio a pagamento dello stabilimento Turchi n.2 a ca. 1,5/2km dalla posizione del nostro ombrellone garantendovi il servizio navetta. Appena parcheggiato arriva la navetta che ci trasporta a destinazione. Ci viene rammentato che il servizio navetta effettua l'ultima corsa alle 18.45 noi ci presentiamo quindi 10 minuti prima senza trovare nessuno, chiedendo alla signora del bar ci viene comunicato che visto il traffico la navetta era in ritardo, ecco che alle 18.50 la navetta rientra comunicandoci che non avrebbe più effettuato corse, facciamo presente che sui cartelli viene scritto che l'ultima corsa è alle 18.45 ma ci viene detto in modo totalmente ineducato, burbero e scontroso che l'ultima corsa è partita alle 18.30 perché era completa e quindi dopo 2-3 di animata discussione non ha voluto sapere nulla lasciando noi più altri utenti a piedi, costretti a dover camminare su una strada provinciale all'imbrunire. Sconsigliato andate in altri stabilimenti, soprattutto a 1,5 km di distanza non avremmo pagato il parcheggio!

05/08/2024: Lido situato in una zona molto bella di Otranto, dove il mare è limpidissimo e la sabbia è morbidissima. Prezzo accessibile e adatto a tutti, anche in alta stagione. Inoltre all’interno del lido è presente il bar che risulta molto economico…

20/08/2024: The restaurant lacks air conditioning, which was problematic given the temperature outside. The starter was very substantial and quite varied. The pizza was average, unfortunately the same cannot be said of the fried mix: the calamari was rubbery, and compared to the cold cuts and cheese platter, which cost even less, the portion was not very generous. The staff was helpful and friendly.

10/07/2024: Excellent double breakfast, sweet and savory. All products are of high quality and have fair prices. Try cappuccino and Lecce brioche or a nice rustico. Staff polite, courteous and balanced.

06/08/2024: Very bad experience. We ordered a cutting board which literally arrived after 2 HOURS. All frozen by the way. The price is ok but I absolutely would not return, there is better. The guy who works there is kind and patient

16/08/2024: An enchanted garden with a beautiful atmosphere, ideal for a dinner and therefore a perfect environment, helpful staff who take care of even the most demanding customers. Two excellent first courses: tagliolini with super seafood and linguine with perfect clams. The possibility of taking the 375ml bottle of wine is good, but it is clear that everything must be paid dearly.
