25/08/2025: The Gallo Nero restaurant really surprised me. It's located near the beaches. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I had the opportunity to eat there twice during my stay in Monopoli and I noticed that this restaurant has fair prices, unlike the high prices of most restaurants here. They offer traditional dishes and more! The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The speed of the service is perfect; you don't have to wait hours and enjoy your dinner. The restaurant is also well-maintained, tidy, clean, accessible, quiet, and very romantic. I will recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Monopoli!

Excellent value, too. An ideal place for those who love good food and want to spend a pleasant evening. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: A pleasant and relaxing evening with the family. I chose the restaurant on the recommendation of friends and based on old childhood memories. The atmosphere was pleasant...good menu selection...and reasonable prices. Delicious first courses...and a good selection of wines. The only downside was the grilled meat. Very little and overcooked. I would recommend...being from Gioia and familiar with the quality of the meat...improving the quantity and cooking. It would add a touch of quality to the whole thing. Overall, good. Recommended.

28/08/2025: The King's Puccia is delicious, as is their beer (Baladin). They also have a wide selection of Puccias, and you can create various combinations to suit all tastes and needs. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous.

21/08/2025: A unique and romantic spot in Locorotondo. The food was overall quite good. The spaghetti with baby octopus was tasty, though a little on the salty side. The cod was delicious but also slightly salty. The braised pork cheek was enjoyable, but it lacked that extra “kick” to make it stand out. The service, however, was excellent — very friendly and attentive.

19/08/2025: Despite they had available tables, as soon as they saw we had a baby (very calm) they suddenly pushed us away and told us everything is booked. Poor way of treating people.

17/08/2025: Retro place but fantastic ice cream I recommend the crunchy pistachio hazelnut and cream cone (the cream is added both underneath and on top as it falls) delicious ice cream!

17/08/2025: I ordered two classic pasticciottos to take away. Average-to-low quality and high price (€2.30 each). Furthermore, the barista handled the pasticciottos directly with his dirty hands, which he used for everything (coffee, cash register, wiping his forehead) without using the proper tongs. I don't recommend it.

03/09/2025: Everything was excellent. The appetizers were fresh and very good. As was the raw ham. The mixed seafood was delicious. Soft and not at all greasy. Perfect service. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for the pleasant lunch.

02/09/2025: Highly recommended! While enjoying a delicious breakfast of beer and panini, you can watch the fishermen dismantle their catch. Meanwhile, the locals play cards in the sun. Absolutely idyllic.

01/09/2025: Low-key casual bar with outside area - some fisherman are live catching stuff from the sea as I understand so you can try seafood. Music was a little too loud at times but a great area to enjoy some drinks with friends.

Everything is really wonderfully organized, idyllic and so relaxing that we didn't feel like going on trips;)) Plus for the proximity of the town. We will definitely come back here 🤍
