18/11/2025: Group dinner, a very long table, numerous courses, including appetizers and meat. The tagliata and rib steaks are especially delicious, but the appetizers are equally phenomenal. A variety of beers and wine are plentiful, and above all, the... The friendliness and kindness of the staff and owners are truly appreciated.

09/12/2025: Maperò is a real gem, right in the heart of Corato. It's a three-dimensional meeting place where beautiful things happen. It's a bistro, an American bar, and an open space. Enjoyable atmosphere and friendly service. Malidea recommends!

21/10/2025: A great lunchtime experience at I Primi di Puglia. We were warmly welcomed on the terrace, but as it got busier, we noticed they lost their overview a bit. Fortunately, the food and drinks were served quickly and were delicious. This is the place to go for fresh pasta (they were made a la minute, which you can see inside). After our main courses, it took a while before we were helped back to dessert. But since we were on vacation, this wasn't a problem for us, and we were comfortable. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu (the only thing available at the time) and a delicious, spicy doppio.

21/10/2025: Well, let me summarize the story of how a carnivore was amazed by a vegetarian Italian restaurant. First, the impact of the kitchen being open to the tables. Then, being invited to participate in the preparation of the pasta I was about to eat, which Katia, my wife, immediately accepted. But no amount of guidance prepared me for the deliciousness of the starter: a paste of fresh tomatoes, almonds, and spices. It was served with homemade bread. I went to the kitchen to congratulate the chef. Finally, the main course: oricchiette (traditional Puglia pasta) with a cauliflower sauce and Italian-style croutons. Of course, everything was followed by tiramisu. So, once in Italy, after this magnificent meal, I did as the Italians do: I went to the hotel and obeyed my body's greatest desire: I slept.

01/12/2025: Bitonto Cathedral is a splendid place, rich in history and charm. It's a shame that the current management doesn't reflect that same beauty: an unsympathetic, rigid, and distant attitude risks creating coldness rather than welcome. It's particularly striking to hear someone call the Cathedral "my home," when it should be the house of the Lord and a place open to all. Those who lead a community should know how to welcome the faithful, listen to them, and make them feel part of something, not push them away. With more attention to people, this place would truly live up to its history.

29/11/2025: This is a beautiful old church, and I wish I could learn more about it.

10/10/2025: Tucked away in a small alley is this delightful restaurant with a friendly staff and excellent food. Our group of 10 tried both starters and mains, and everyone raved about the flavors and freshness. Add in some wonderful Puglian wine, and this restaurant was a real winner for our group. The staff spoke just enough English to help us navigate the menu, but everyone else there as Italian which to us was a good sign. If we go back to Locorotondo, this place will be at the top of our list.

08/10/2025: A delicious meal of lamb chops, very tender and cooked to perfection, ravioli with eggplant and fresh tomatoes, and excellent glasses of white and red wine... Quality service, a subdued atmosphere, and moderate background music: everything we're looking for!!! We're waiting for dessert to conclude... a flawless course: the pistachio and mandarin dessert was sublime, the Buffalo dessert too... we really enjoyed ourselves... thank you very much. We highly recommend it. 🫶🫶

18/10/2025: I'm sorry to give this restaurant such a low rating, as it's cozy and the food is good, but the service is slow, very slow. To give you an idea, it took us two hours to eat and 15 minutes just to get our coffee. There were only two of us.

18/11/2025: How do you ensure a smooth flow as a restaurant? Come see for yourself. Super efficient! We had the last table, so the cordon for the terrace closed, but a table quickly became available and new guests could be welcomed. Service is also fast, and the dishes are served quickly. We didn't feel rushed at all, but we weren't particularly welcome either. We opted for the schiaffoni and the pistacchio pizza. They were good and very tasty. We were on our way again in 30 minutes, perfect if you still want to see something in Polignano or the surrounding area.
