07/09/2025: A pleasant and relaxing evening with the family. I chose the restaurant on the recommendation of friends and based on old childhood memories. The atmosphere was pleasant...good menu selection...and reasonable prices. Delicious first courses...and a good selection of wines. The only downside was the grilled meat. Very little and overcooked. I would recommend...being from Gioia and familiar with the quality of the meat...improving the quantity and cooking. It would add a touch of quality to the whole thing. Overall, good. Recommended.

21/10/2025: A great lunchtime experience at I Primi di Puglia. We were warmly welcomed on the terrace, but as it got busier, we noticed they lost their overview a bit. Fortunately, the food and drinks were served quickly and were delicious. This is the place to go for fresh pasta (they were made a la minute, which you can see inside). After our main courses, it took a while before we were helped back to dessert. But since we were on vacation, this wasn't a problem for us, and we were comfortable. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu (the only thing available at the time) and a delicious, spicy doppio.

21/10/2025: Well, let me summarize the story of how a carnivore was amazed by a vegetarian Italian restaurant. First, the impact of the kitchen being open to the tables. Then, being invited to participate in the preparation of the pasta I was about to eat, which Katia, my wife, immediately accepted. But no amount of guidance prepared me for the deliciousness of the starter: a paste of fresh tomatoes, almonds, and spices. It was served with homemade bread. I went to the kitchen to congratulate the chef. Finally, the main course: oricchiette (traditional Puglia pasta) with a cauliflower sauce and Italian-style croutons. Of course, everything was followed by tiramisu. So, once in Italy, after this magnificent meal, I did as the Italians do: I went to the hotel and obeyed my body's greatest desire: I slept.

30/08/2025: Excellent dining experience here for dinner. The seafood appetizers and first courses we tasted were of the highest quality, everything was truly excellent. The raw seafood was very fresh, truly noteworthy. The restaurant staff was truly friendly and at the same time very professional; they made sure we lacked for absolutely nothing. The atmosphere was very elegant and welcoming. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: Tucked away in a small alley is this delightful restaurant with a friendly staff and excellent food. Our group of 10 tried both starters and mains, and everyone raved about the flavors and freshness. Add in some wonderful Puglian wine, and this restaurant was a real winner for our group. The staff spoke just enough English to help us navigate the menu, but everyone else there as Italian which to us was a good sign. If we go back to Locorotondo, this place will be at the top of our list.

08/10/2025: A delicious meal of lamb chops, very tender and cooked to perfection, ravioli with eggplant and fresh tomatoes, and excellent glasses of white and red wine... Quality service, a subdued atmosphere, and moderate background music: everything we're looking for!!! We're waiting for dessert to conclude... a flawless course: the pistachio and mandarin dessert was sublime, the Buffalo dessert too... we really enjoyed ourselves... thank you very much. We highly recommend it. 🫶🫶

08/09/2025: I attended a birthday party at Villa Rotondo, and I think it was the most scandalous experience I've ever had in a reception hall. • We arrived at 9:00 PM, and at 2:00 AM, the first course hadn't even been served. • They served the second course (fried fish) before the first course, completely illogically. • They even ran out of sparkling water, which is unacceptable in a venue that hosts events. • Of the two scheduled first courses, they only brought one, and that was late at night, when everyone was already leaving. • The cake was served to the guests' tables without even clearing them, in a completely messy and unhygienic environment. • The waiters were inexperienced and incapable of even basic service. • To top it all off, they had the nerve to charge the birthday girl first, using the excuse that the register was closed, leaving her to spend a nightmare day and lose money on dishes that were never served. Shameful organization, nonexistent service, and offensive treatment of guests and the birthday girl. In my opinion, this venue must have recently changed management, with completely incompetent people, because in all its years of operation, I've never heard of such a humiliating evening. I strongly advise against this place: a party that will remain etched in your memory only for how disastrous and humiliating it was.

07/09/2025: We celebrated a 50th birthday by paying the amount in advance (over €1,500) requested by the owner, but they didn't even serve us half the scheduled menu. Despite this, the staff railed against us, including the owner, who refused to help resolve the terrible experience. Disgusting. One star because I can't give zero, and partly out of pity for them.

18/10/2025: I'm sorry to give this restaurant such a low rating, as it's cozy and the food is good, but the service is slow, very slow. To give you an idea, it took us two hours to eat and 15 minutes just to get our coffee. There were only two of us.

18/10/2025: Excellent place to enjoy local seafood dishes. Tasting menu of 8 courses was very nice and fairly priced, but courses 2 & 3 and 7 & 8 were served together, which caused quite some confusion and disappointment given we were expecting 2 more courses to come. If we would have been told beforehand it wouldn’t have been an issue and we would have portioned our wine differently.

11/09/2025: Our stay at the villa was truly amazing, what a memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, thanks to the incredibly warm and attentive staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, which made our visit even more special. The villa itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and each room was more beautiful than the last. We discovered something new to admire every day! The breakfast was also a highlight, one of the best we’ve ever had at a B&B. Thank you so much for everything. We’ll be recommending the villa to everyone we know!

25/08/2025: Beautiful venue suitable for weddings, anniversaries, and private parties. Excellent location, a beautiful old villa (very well maintained) surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Its style is both classic and very similar to luxurious farmhouses. The food was excellent, and our experience for a wedding anniversary was positive. This venue is particularly recommended for weddings to be celebrated both outdoors and indoors (the vaults are cross-vaulted and covered in local stone). The interiors are very beautiful, with air conditioning, so you can celebrate in peace both summer and winter! Recommended 👍

10/09/2025: A cool spot in the city center by the water for a quick and cheap Peroni from a bottle. They also have drinks and some snacks. I recommend it. It has a bit of a biking vibe.

20/09/2025: A beautiful farmhouse, the historic part is like stepping back in time. The food is good, and the plating is also very well done. There's also a small wine list.

15/09/2025: Welcomed like family, our first dinner in Puglia was fantastic. We tried this fig focaccia, which was delicious while we waited for our order. We tried their caciocavallo with figs... we fell in love!!! We continued with orecchiette with zucchini 🥰, they were so fresh, and the zucchini cream was so delicious!!! Then, still hungry, we ordered a platter of cured meats to finish the wine 🍷❣️. We had coffee among the lights and straw. What a wonderful place, highly recommended.
