10/05/2026: Everything was delicious, but the only flaw is that when I call, the owner tells me 10 minutes. I expect my order to be ready within 10 minutes. But last time, they told me it would be 15 minutes, and I came in 15 minutes later... and I waited 40 minutes!!!! You can't do that; you have to be on time.
Otherwise, everything was fantastic. The food is excellent, one of the best places in Gravina.

What a treasure! The fixed price menus all include an assortment of interesting ‘antipasti locali’, plus primi and/or secondi piatti, seasonal fruit and dessert, water, wine and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed each course and opted to share one fruit and one dessert (tiramisu).
Service was friendly and prompt.
Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: We returned to this restaurant and, once again, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were kind and attentive, and the dishes were carefully prepared using quality ingredients. The service was prompt and professional, making us feel at ease throughout the evening. We definitely recommend this place and will gladly return. Kudos to the entire staff!

The staff was kind and helpful, always attentive to our needs.
The owners are adorable. We enjoyed the excellent cuisine, with well-prepared, high-quality dishes, and the impeccable service.
It's the ideal place to celebrate an important event or simply spend a pleasant day with friends. We will definitely return and happily recommend it.

12/12/2025: Lunch at of my favorite restaurants in Gravina, Osteria Radici, built into a cave on the road to the ravine and the aqueduct bridge
Their focus is on traditional Gravinese food made with local ingredients.
We started with their fried zucchini with mint and the bruschetta with a peperoni preserve and pallone di Gravina cheese.
For mains, we had the spicy assassins’s pasta and the braciole di cavallo, along with wine from Radici’s vineyard (a blend of Primitivo, Nero di Troia, and
Montepulciano).
For dessert, sporcamuss, crispy puff pastry filled with custard.
Service is excellent and the restaurant is beautifully appointed, especially during the holidays!
A wonderful “last supper” on our Pugliese tour!

09/04/2026: We spent Easter Monday for lunch. Excellent food with a set menu. Traditional food with a view of the ravine.
Attentive and friendly staff.
The only downside... it was very hot... maybe I would have turned on the air conditioning.
07/03/2026: An excellent experience at Il Vecchio Crapo pizzeria in Gravina in Puglia. The pizza is truly delicious: light, well-leavened dough, and quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. The menu offers a variety of choices, and everything is carefully prepared.
The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the service, making us feel welcome.
You can sense their attention to the quality and tradition of Apulian pizza. Definitely a place to return to when in Gravina in Puglia. Recommended!

26/04/2026: I went to this pizzeria tonight and, overall, the experience was very positive. The food is truly excellent: the pizza in particular was amazing, well-cooked, with quality ingredients and truly exceptional flavors. You can sense great attention to the ingredients and preparation.
The only small complaint concerns the staff, which seemed a bit understaffed compared to the number of customers. Despite this, the service was still handled with dedication.
Unfortunately, I must point out one major negative aspect: the hygiene of the bathroom. It was in truly unpleasant conditions, which is quite jarring considering this is a pizzeria located in the historic center and is very busy. For this very reason, it would be essential to pay much more attention to cleanliness, especially considering the presence of a changing table for babies. In a context like this, hygiene should absolutely be a priority.
In summary: excellent food quality and a very satisfying dining experience, but the upkeep of the common areas definitely needs to be improved.
