Everything was reserved, but since we arrived early (8 pm), we were allowed to eat before the other customers arrived around 8 pm.
Excellent value for money.
The waiters and waitresses were super friendly. Good octopus salad, excellent shellfish ravioli (bauletti), and a good pizza, which we took home because we didn't finish it! Good, inexpensive wine.

14/07/2026: There were nine of us for dinner. The owner recommended the burrata and homemade grilled mortadella from the start—absolutely delicious. Then we had grilled vegetables and a horse stew with burrata, all very tasty. For our main course, you go to the butcher shop in the same room and choose your meat to grill—quite an experience! The meat was spectacular, and you finish it on a hot stone at the table. I highly recommend the bombetas (small, filled pastries) and the sausages. The service was excellent and friendly, and the place is frequented by Italian locals. Highly, highly recommended.

04/06/2026: A lovely spot in Monopoli. We ordered orecchiette with seafood and rigatoni with octopus. As a welcome, we received a small appetizer of tomato bruschetta and bread polpette. Nothing extraordinary, but a nice touch.
The food seemed authentic and the dishes were good. It's an excellent option for a simple, relaxed local lunch. The service is laid-back and the atmosphere is peaceful. A great place to discover the cuisine of Puglia.

09/07/2026: A wonderful discovery!!!! Truly excellent products. The meat counter is well-stocked and offers cheese-free options (top notch). The side dishes are simple, authentic, and delicious. The staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. The prices are in line with the products offered! The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, perfect for a family dinner.
PS. Kudos to the owner, who, having learned I couldn't eat dairy-free desserts, insisted on offering me pieces of tart made strictly with olive oil!!! A final treat that's not to be taken for granted! ❤️ See you soon!!!!!
06/07/2026: On Friday evening we celebrated a retirement, returning to this grill restaurant for the umpteenth time, always with the same end result: from appetizers to desserts, everything was wonderfully good and tasty. Lorenzo has now become a guarantee and a certainty for anyone who wants to eat good meat in a beautiful, fresh location...

10/06/2026: My favorite place for meat, both the finest cuts and the more sophisticated dishes. The appetizers are also very delicious, especially the grilled impiccato (a kind of pork shoulder) with mushroom vongole. The grappa, served in factory-sealed "test tubes," is also very popular. The indoor space is a bit noisy; I think the outdoor veranda is better.

10/04/2026: We had very good cocktails here today, a Negroni and an Americano. It was self-service at the counter in the early afternoon, the friendly, passionate bartender was great. We sat outside in the little square, lots of seating at simple tables.
05/03/2026: We stopped for a coffee and loved it. It's a small bar with delicious coffee and a large, inviting terrace.
Plus, the staff was very friendly.

For starters, 2 types of Bruschetta which were tasty. Then the spaghetti all'assassina which was also well prepared but not to my taste. Friendly service.
12/05/2026: The experience exceeded our expectations! The chips were excellent, perfectly fried and incredibly light. We also tried a tasty slice of meat and an excellent pizza. Service was quick despite it being a Saturday night; the staff was friendly and very professional. We'll definitely be back to try the pasta and appetizers!

08/06/2026: A great place to celebrate, with truly delicious food and super friendly and cheerful staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel immediately at ease.
The only small flaw: the space is a bit stuffy, almost cave-like, although it's very well-maintained and decorated. However, this is a subjective feeling, so it may or may not be to your liking.
Overall, it's highly recommended 👍
