10/07/2026: Lo Sbarco is a genuine Piemontese osteria in the heart of San Salvario, and it's easy to see why it's so popular: a rustic, convivial atmosphere; tasty, simple food; friendly staff. You'll feel instantly at home. This place is popular with locals, who come here to meet up with friends, have a bite, and then move someplace else. The menu comes as a chalkboard brought right to your table. Portions are generous, flavors are traditional and satisfying, and the value for money is excellent, especially with their house wine. Special mention for the crostone with salsiccia di Bra[1]; if it's on the menu, get it! It's a fantastic appetizer. One tip: this place fills up fast, so book ahead if you can, or arrive before 8pm to snag a table without a wait. I recommend a table inside, particularly if smoke bothers you[2]. Highly recommend for anyone looking for real, unpretentious Piemontese cooking. --------------------- [1] Salsiccia di Bra is a raw sausage. [2] As often the case in Italy, chances that somebody next to you will be smoking are 100% if you are sitting outside.

09/07/2026: Thin, wide pizza. Light and well-seasoned. The farinata is good, although I personally prefer it thinner. Fast and friendly service. A little noisy when crowded.

18/06/2026: Four of us had dinner here with friends and had a great time. The service was very fast and friendly, and the food was also very good. The owner at the register was a bit strange. However, charging nine euros for a glass of wine seems a bit absurd to me; let's say she was supposed to hide the discount we got with an app.

13/03/2026: I had an unexpected dinner with 10 people at my house, and they saved me with their meter-long pizzas. Everyone loved the pizza, including the kids. A plus is the friendly, helpful staff who answer the phone.

It's just a shame to have to dine outside in this unbearably hot, sticky atmosphere, with mosquitoes... etc. It would be helpful if the owner could help with air conditioning, allowing the poor customers to dine inside, since the place deserves it. I hope to be able to dine inside next time, otherwise I won't book!

12/07/2026: The place is very beautiful and rustic. The staff isn't particularly knowledgeable and doesn't seem to know how to answer even the most basic questions. The food seems authentic, but the cooking skills are lacking. The appetizers are bland and tasteless. The rabbit is served in a watery broth—I've never seen anything like it, especially considering the price. I've eaten at smaller bowling clubs in the area where the food was better, for a third of the price. The staff, however, is very friendly, and there's a family atmosphere. The place feels like a trattoria from the past.

11/07/2026: We stopped by on a Saturday for lunch because we were in the area and the reviews piqued our interest. Google said it opened at 11:00, so we arrived around 11:45 to avoid being too early. Unfortunately, we were told the restaurant opened at 12:30, so the online hours were incorrect. Being in a hurry, we were forced to leave without trying the food, even though the aroma was truly inviting. It's a shame, but it would be important to update the hours on Google.
