07/08/2026: A great atmosphere with nice food. The QR code concept was a bit confusing. You either have a QR code where you can order, pay and have no physical service or have physical menu’s and physical service. The combination of seeing the menu on your phone, but still having physical service is a bit inconvenient as you have to look through the phone menu to point at what you want. So I prefer to jusy have a physical menu. Nonetheless, the food is good.
05/08/2026: Kind waiters they are trying to understand you even if you are not Italian(one even spoke me french). I would recommend.

20/05/2026: One of the very best lunches we’ve ever had. We left it up to the lovely man who looked after us, who recommended everything we ate and drank, all of which was fabulous. It’s the only way to go! Will be back when we are next in this great city.

26/05/2026: I wanted to try a restaurant that served traditional Piedmontese dishes. I found Osteria Degli Ottoni and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did!! 12 out of 10 stars. The food was exceptional, service warm and friendly and it was very clean with a cute decor. I would highly recommend anyone to come and see for your self 😊
25/05/2026: I'm not a fan of Piedmontese cuisine because I don't eat dairy products, but I had veal with tornò sauce and a trio of spectacular anchovies. Average prices, very friendly staff, and quick service considering the restaurant was full.

11/07/2026: The restaurant is located in a typical mountain building, with barrel vaults and exposed stone.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, but can sometimes seem a little cold, especially when the restaurant is very busy.
The food is carefully prepared and follows traditional recipes. There is no à la carte option, but you must choose from the daily menu, which offers at least five appetizers, a couple of first courses, several second courses with side dishes, and... dessert.
Excellent and pleasant, even at the final bill!

29/06/2026: We stayed at Ca' Somasso and had a truly wonderful time. The welcome was excellent: the owners were extremely kind, helpful, and always ready to accommodate every need with a smile. The atmosphere is well-kept, quiet, and welcoming, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a pleasant stay. You can sense their passion and attention to their guests.

Delicious products made with top-quality ingredients.
The focaccia and focaccia di Recco were truly delicious, not to mention the owner's friendliness and kindness.
A lovely, high-quality place, highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Very nice atmosphere, friendly service, but questionable recipes: I had the caponet (cabbage rolls) stuffed 90% with peas (???). The recipe calls for minced beef, but pork is also fine if you want to save money, but peas are definitely not the best. The agnolotti del plin taste like the ones at Lidl, and the ragù has way too much tomato paste. It's like eating at a service station for double the price. The house wine is good.
10/07/2026: The place is not air conditioned, there is a penguin, but the July heat is too excessive to be able to face with a penguin

I had dinner with some friends a few months ago, and we all chose the seafood spaghetti in a pizza crust (a wonderful discovery; I wanted another plate later) and the mixed grilled fish. What can I say? The perfect dish for everyone, and the quality was truly excellent!

14/07/2026: I went there at least two years ago but hadn't left a review. I walked by it a while ago and it came to mind. The place certainly doesn't go unnoticed.
I remember the lovely people and the incredible paccheri.
The street where the place is located used to be a beautiful one, which unfortunately is losing its appeal today due to the closure of many shops. But this place seems to be designed to break the melancholy, as only Neapolitans would do, and say, "Look, we're here!" A piece of Naples, exactly where it was needed.
We'll be back soon.
P.S. But I'm a Juventus fan...

19/05/2026: It was the cleanest and best hostel I've experienced.
18/05/2026: Very low beds, uncomfortable for people with mobility issues. They only provide one pillow even if you need a higher one. Lots of background noise from the streetcars. Lacking charm. On the plus side, they made a mistake on the first day and gave us a room that was already occupied, and as compensation for the inconvenience, they offered us a free beer. However, we lost more than an hour while they sorted it out. Expensive for what they offer.
