Ristorante Bon Parej In Torino

A restaurant in the very center of Turin, adjacent to the beautiful Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The restaurant has been tastefully renovated, featuring exposed brick vaults and thoughtfully chosen paint and flooring. It's the style I like. Adequate interior space. Finally, cloth tablecloths and napkins. It seems obvious, but it's not... Piedmontese cuisine, generous portions, and no-frills plating. Perhaps they pay more attention to the style of the dish than the appearance of the contents. We tried the anchovies in green sauce, which were superb. The owner also had us try the tomini in green sauce, also superb. Agnolotti with roast beef sauce, and vegetable lasagna. Everything was delicious, delicate, and flavorful. But what blew my mind was the hot zabaglione, served with a ladle and accompanied by cherries, blueberries, and blackberries. It also came with the pastries. Wine: I was the only one drinking, so I opted for a glass of Dolcetto (the owner joked that Dolcetto pleases everyone, but this was for connoisseurs) and a glass of Barbera Superiore, 15.5% ABV, which, with the zabaglione, finished off beautifully. Then there are the details, like the coffee: they bring a Bialetti coffee maker directly to the table, a common thing at home but a retro and familiar touch in a restaurant. The price was reasonable for what we ate, the venue, and the location. I'll be back to explore the menu further. 😃

Sunday lunch, so few restaurants were open... appetizers were average, but the main courses were very disappointing: the Milanese was quite hard, the vegetables were disappointing, and the zabaglione was quite light and not very flavorful. Two glasses of Prosecco per person, €50, I think, is a bit expensive.

The bagna cauda was delicious, as was the pappardelle with wild boar ragu. However, the trout with zucchini and egg wasn't good at all; there was so much vinegar in it that I had heartburn all night. The service and atmosphere were good.

It's a great restaurant, I've known it for a long time now and I always go to see the staff very willingly, the welcome is top, the food and drink are very good, very good, keep it up

Everything was really good! The food was carefully prepared and tasty, the service was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. It's a shame I didn't take any photos, but I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

I've had the opportunity to try their cuisine several times, and they always manage to surprise. Excellent ingredients, often sourced from the Lanzo Valleys, are used. The cuisine respects tradition, while also offering some unique variations. The service is punctual, elegant, and courteous, with perfect timing, even for families. The nettle soup I tried yesterday was absolutely balanced and delicate; you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The Bagna Caoda is a faithful tradition, with vegetables always fresh, and you can't feel the pressure of the dish in the hours that follow. The wine list is very well-chosen. Bon Parej is a restaurant that perfectly combines Savoy elegance with the authentic flavors of Piedmontese and local cuisine. The menu changes frequently, so you can always try new dishes. After dinner, a stroll in the unique setting of Piazza Vittorio and the Po River is always delightful.

First time at Bon Parej and it won't be the last. We had a great time, the service was impeccable, and the very kind woman in the dining room explained the entire menu to us. The food was excellent. We had the carpaccio, veal with tuna sauce (sublime), tagliatelle with Piedmontese pesto, and risotto with asparagus creamed with egg yolk. Everything was excellent and carefully presented. The owner was very kind, and we had a lovely chat after dinner. This will definitely be one of my go-to places for future visits to Turin.

Excellent quality food. We tried the tomini, the anchovies in green sauce, the veal with tuna sauce—in short, everything was delicious...the first and second courses were all delicious!! I'll be back!! The place was welcoming and the staff were very professional...the owner was very friendly!!

Booked with thefork they couldn't find the reservation which obviously was there, excellent food, nice atmosphere and professional service. A piece of advice before ordering desserts ask for the price on the menu it says house desserts 6/9 euros, they charged us 12 euros for a sorbet with fruit

We booked a table for three using TheFork and enjoyed a delicious dinner, especially the entrees. Unfortunately, however, we were served by a waitress who immediately made us feel uncomfortable, starting with the menu, during which we dared to ask what certain ingredients were. Judging by the tone and expression with which the waitress in question responded to our questions, we should have been ashamed of our culinary ignorance. Throughout the rest of the service, we received constant condescending looks, which transformed into smiles and friendliness as soon as the waitress approached other tables. We felt like fish out of water and were treated like "poor things." A real shame, given the quality of the dishes and the kindness of the owner and the other waitresses.
