12/04/2026: We left Turin for Orchiday in Mercenasco, and stayed for lunch. We chose the "Gardenia" restaurant in Caluso by chance, and we decided to give it a try. It was a beautiful, pleasant, and wonderful experience, which transformed a Sunday afternoon into an unforgettable memory. We had lunch in a stunning, beautifully maintained 19th-century residence, with meticulous attention to detail, where everything speaks of the history of the place. The cuisine is divine, I would say; the dishes are very well thought out, the flavors are balanced, and every ingredient in each dish was carefully chosen. We asked the sommelier for advice on the wines, including the passito, which was very helpful and attentive to our tastes. Compliments to all the staff for their helpfulness, kindness, and professionalism. Special thanks go to Laura, who assisted us throughout and who even showed us the restaurant's garden and greenhouses at the end. We will definitely be back, we had a great time, Simona and Claudio, Turin.

23/03/2026: I've been to Maxi Ristorante Mago several times and have always had a great time. The most recent occasion was for my nephew's 18th birthday party, but I've also been there for work, playing at a few events. The staff is always very welcoming, and the owners are helpful and attentive to every need. The food is always plentiful and high-quality, perfect for both a large party and a quiet lunch or dinner. I recommend Mago to anyone looking for a warm atmosphere, generous dishes, and friendly service. It's ideal for parties, events, or simply to enjoy good Piedmontese cuisine with friends.

15/03/2026: Very good food and plenty of it, especially the Piedmontese fried dessert. 🔝🔝 Friendly, attentive staff, fast service, a lovely evening of entertainment. The only flaw is the outdated restrooms and... Recommended anyway.

01/05/2026: I discovered this trattoria, just a stone's throw from my house, through recommendations from local friends. It was a pleasant surprise. This is my fifth day in a row since I've been here for lunch, given my arm is in a cast. I have to say, the quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. The portions are generous and carefully prepared. Everything is delicious. The staff is also very kind and available to meet all of their guests' needs. Finally, I'd like to thank everyone who has been part of this wonderful story, which has been going on for over 60 years. CONGRATULATIONS!! 🙏

01/04/2026: Aside from the lady who was very kind in her manner and hospitality, the food wasn't the best: veal with tuna sauce, which I thought was pork... agnolotti in a very small portion, roast beef that tasted like nothing, and a truly mediocre tiramisu—you couldn't taste the coffee and the cream was almost runny. The final price was fair, but unfortunately, I wouldn't go back.
