I had lunch with a friend after a walk around the lakes of Avigliana. We arrived at the restaurant around 2 pm and, given the time, asked if we could eat. They obliged! The super-kind young lady seated us and we chose the €15 menu of the day, which included a choice of three first courses, two or three second courses, and three side dishes. There was also a wide selection of desserts. Everything was delicious, served quickly! To finish, coffee with a small puff pastry with hazelnut cream! I highly recommend the restaurant! I honestly don't know the final price because lunch was free! I only gave 4 stars to the food because the potatoes were lukewarm, as was the eggplant parmigiana. I didn't ask for them to be reheated because they had already welcomed us at that hour and I didn't want to cause any problems! I'm sure they would have!

I went with a friend for an aperitif, so a glass of wine, a non-alcoholic aperitif, a small/medium platter for two and a small bottle of water... more than 40 euros... as if we were in the centre of Turin... never again!

The Avilius platter was generous and truly delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Definitely a positive experience, one to repeat. Excellent value for money! The place is run by young, friendly, and polite people. Everything was delicious, especially the desserts. 👍
