27/03/2025: I always happily return to Pummarò, the quality of the food is excellent. The last time, however, the service wasn't the best: we had chosen a beer, but then the waiters told us it wasn't there; the waiters always presented us with the wholemeal dough as excellent for that chosen pizza, so we trusted the advice, but then we had to opt for the normal dough because we were informed that the wholemeal dough had run out. Nothing serious, of course, but in my opinion it would be better to check the actual products available before presenting them to customers ;)

19/03/2025: Food: 4 Service: 1 Ambience: 1 Hygiene: 0 This is the first time I've written such a long review, and the reason is that I was speechless, but in a negative sense, alas! I've never seen a place so disorganized and so superficial in terms of staff. My partner and I made a reservation at 9 pm. We arrive, and the space available for waiting, near the counter, is really tiny. Really small place. Regardless of this detail, which for the purposes of the evaluation I wouldn't consider it that much, I note with some amazement that the girl at the cash register, who should only carry out cash register activities, helps the waiter to prepare the table service by folding napkins, not only after having handled cash and other things, but then places them on top of the tablet they use to manage orders. All this in front of the customers in line. After a long wait, and a couple who passed in front of us even though they had arrived later and the same time as our reservation, the table was assigned to us more than twenty minutes after the reservation, and the girl who was at the cash register went to prepare it herself, improvising as a waitress. So there are two possibilities: either the waiters are also cashiers there, or in times of need the cashier becomes a waitress. The table assigned to us had a dirty tablecloth, probably made that way by previous customers. I am attaching a photo. The waiter arrived at the table at 10 pm. An hour after the reservation. What is even more serious is that they gave priority to customers who had arrived after us, probably only because it was a large table, also near our table, in the outdoor area. As I personally pointed out, high-sounding decibels came from the large table: as if there was no one else there - I have rarely seen such rudeness in a place, it seemed like they were at home. We had some appetizers: farinata and homemade French fries. Both good. Here too, a few slips: we were given pepper for the farinata, but there wasn't even a gram left in the container. Oh well, it happens. The pizzas that arrived later, obviously after those of the large and noisy group that arrived after us, were quite good: light dough and top quality ingredients. Prices a bit excessive for pizzas! Unfortunately, with the excuse of the 'gourmet pizza' phenomenon, prices have tripled almost everywhere compared to a few years ago. After finishing the pizza, and a fair amount of waiting, the waiter comes to take our order for desserts, obviously only after having taken it from the table next to us. We order a pistachio tiramisu and a classic one. After almost half an hour of waiting, the girl who was initially at the cash register comes (here again? What is this?) and asks: 'Guys, do you want some coffee?'. The waiter had completely forgotten about us (but not the table next to us, obviously). At the end of the day he comes back and apologizes, rightly so, trying to make amends by offering "personally" (?) the dessert but not the tiramisu, which they had finished (obviously because everyone left at the next table had arrived). I order a chocolate cheesecake, and my companion a coffee, now impatient. The dessert was not worth the €6: small, a little sour and with the biscuit at the base that looked like cement, so difficult was it to break. Once we got up from our seats, my companion and I left the terrace with dismay and disappointment (fix this "automatic" door - heavy for the ladies to move by hand) to head to the cashier. They took the dessert and coffee off our total, and I would say that is the minimum, and offered us a bitter. Thanks, but no thanks. I have never seen such an unhygienic, disorganized and superficial place all together! Guys, you made a huge mistake, and as the cashier-waitress said "there is always room for improvement". We'll see! We won't set foot there again, just in case, as we don't want to risk ruining another evening.

26/03/2025: All in all I consider it a good restaurant and so do my fellow diners. On Sunday for my father-in-law's 93rd birthday we had a very good time and were kindly served. I've known the location of that restaurant for years but it has never attracted me because its sign doesn't attract you. I recommend replacing it with something smaller in size but with a more refined and elegant feel. We were satisfied with all the dishes and we will definitely return.

29/03/2025: we arrived at the place recommended to us by a friend of ours. we had booked for dinner and there were two of us, as soon as we sat down the friendly and nice owner immediately arrived to explain the history of the place and the best dishes, after which we started eating. they were simple but fantastic dishes, with a crazy mix of flavours. the environment was welcoming and the waitress very nice and kind. we ate excellent meat dishes and finally an excellent eggnog. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an evening with friends and eat excellent typical dishes. we liked it so much that we booked for the next day too. the price for the dishes they served was excellent, less than what we expected for the quality.

05/04/2025: Discovered on a special occasion, "dinner in the dark", a very beautiful sensorial experience, I returned and confirmed: very good food, intense flavors combined with other delicate ones, cured meats, cheeses, smoked fish and myrtle sauces or cardoons in oil. Exciting recipes, tastes that leave taste buds in raptures...obviously I don't leave out the wine

19/03/2025: Top place, small and private, where Sardinia is represented as a work of art with kindness, competence and mastery. Everything excellent, platters of cold cuts, cheeses, fish slices, various dishes and wines by the glass or bottle. A must-see to relax and enjoy a good aperitif or a lunch or dinner

31/03/2025: Beautiful structure equipped with a high-level restaurant, a beautiful equipped gym and an equally pleasant swimming pool. Large room with sofas and bar for relaxation or business meetings. Location also suitable for private parties thanks to the reserved room.

12/04/2025: I went with my family for lunch to try Piedmontese cuisine and it was the first time. We really liked it, excellent food and good value for money.

24/03/2025: Locale alla mano a conduzione familiare gestito alla grande da persone che sanno gestire tanti clienti senza mai avere un attimo di difficoltà (parlo delle giornate cui gioca la Juventus) Pizza,cucina,servizio sempre all'altezza della situazione. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tappa direi ormai fissa ogni qual volta ci si trova in zona!

27/02/2025: Ristorante gestito egregiamente dalla titolare Gabry, persona squisita e una voglia di vivere e di preparare cene deliziose agli ospiti. Simona gestisce ottimamente i vari orari delle serate, è super gentile, disponibile e sorridente. Sa fare bene il suo lavoro! In conclusione un ristorante tranquillo, con una cucina casereccia che farebbe invidia a molte trattorie meridionali!

04/02/2025: Delicious Sunday lunch in this small restaurant, hidden among the streets of a tiny and charming village in Valdisusa. We tasted original and very tasty dishes, prepared with impeccable skill: from the "capunet" (rolls) of dark cabbage, filled with chestnuts and fondue, to the artichoke with confit cherry tomatoes, to the risotto with cod and candied orange, to the "gobbi" a sort of elongated ravioli, of ancient local tradition, with leeks and black carrot cream, and then a veal cheek in civet that melts like butter... not to mention the desserts (what a wonderful eggnog!) and an impressive wine list, especially Piedmontese but not only Excellent raw materials, recovery of traditional recipes reinvented with creativity, impeccable service, a welcoming and refined environment make this our first experience at Matilde's an opportunity to certainly be repeated. The bill is absolutely in line with everything else. Valuable!

26/01/2025: Delizioso pranzo domenicale in questo piccolo ristorante, nascosto tra le viuzze di una minuscola e affascinante borgata della Valdisusa. Abbiamo gustato piatti originali e gustosissimi, preparati con maestria impeccabile: dai "capunet" (involtini) di verza scura, ripieni di castagne e fonduta, al carciofo con pomodorini confit, al risotto con baccalà e arancia candita, ai "gobbi" una sorta di ravioli allungati, di antica tradizione locale, con porri e crema di carota nera, e poi una guancia di vitello in civet scioglievole come burro... per non parlare dei dolci (che zabaione meraviglioso!) e di una carta dei vini, soprattutto piemontesi ma non solo, ragguardevole Eccellenti materie prime, recupero di ricette tradizionali reinventate con creatività, servizio impeccabile, ambiente accogliente e curato fanno di questa nostra prima esperienza da Matilde un'occasione da ripetere senz'altro. Il conto è assolutamente in linea con tutto il resto. Pregevole!

I was dumbfounded, what do dogs have to do with it, I asked him if there was access for 🧑‍🦽, he kept telling me that they didn't accept dogs. I told him I didn't have dogs, I was on 🧑‍🦽. I greeted him. WE DIDN'T GO, my mother refused, so did I. I don't know what the food is like and I don't want to know.

09/03/2025: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, it was beautiful, excellent fresh food, generous portions, helpful, kind and smiling staff, they let us decorate the room to our liking with precious advice, the owners satisfied all our requests In short, if you have to celebrate you also have the option to bring Your musical bend like we did, long live the party and fun, too bad we are in winter because the restaurant has a pond and a garden that if it doesn't rain you can take magnificent photos, thank you for everything
