DA BENITO In Torino

I've been a regular for a few years now, one of the best restaurants in the Santa Rita area. Their specialties are seafood, but the other dishes are excellent too. The staff is friendly and helpful.

IMPECCABLE I had lunch at Benito's this Sunday, making a short-notice reservation. I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the friendliness with which the lady answered the phone and handled my reservation at the last minute. My five tired and hungry friends and I enjoyed a 10/10 lunch: excellent quality fish, appetizers, and delicious risotto. Fair prices. Premium Oysters! The restaurant has a classic atmosphere, is clean down to the last detail, and the staff, very professional, is courteous in their manners and service. Discovered purely by chance, a true gem in the Santa Rita neighborhood of Turin. I recommend it and hope to return. 🦪Riccardo

The dishes are classically refined, born from experience, but the place is very noisy and the tables are optimized for accommodating people and providing food rather than providing an experience... on the other hand, the bill was more than reasonable for what we ate. For 4 people, €154.50, including 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, and 2 second courses, with no discount! The portions are generous, there were also 3 waters, no wine! The place was trendy in the '70s, but now it's outdated due to its decor and lack of modern-day dishes! I don't recommend it for couples seeking intimate dinners or culinary experiences with exquisite dishes! However, if you're happy with abundant and perfect classic dishes, perhaps without having the pretensions of a sophisticated and trendy place, then you're in the right place and won't spend a lot. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the dishes because I didn't find anything special... Note: Parking is impossible, double parked like many others.

Both the wine and the food were very good, I had never been there but many people spoke very highly of it and out of curiosity I wanted to try it and in fact I confirm what they had told me, very kind and attentive staff

I've been there several times, but the last one was a few years ago. The place is always beautiful; it may be historic, but it's very well-kept and clean. The tablecloths are impeccable, the glasses are almost transparent and so clean. The quality of the fish is excellent, there's no fuss about the dishes or the plating, but what matters is the food. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. Benito is a guarantee like few others these days.
