Some keyboard experts (I emphasize keyboard) say the price is a bit high because we're in Pinerolo, not Turin. Perhaps they don't know that in Italy there are also two- or three-star restaurants in less metropolitan locations. In Pinerolo, in my opinion, you can still feel the style of Nizza Cavalleria and the past, but it has nothing to do with that. Let's talk serious things: exceptional cuisine where love, art, and care shine through. Innovation with great grace. Excellent and comprehensive wine cellar. Service: Valentina is exceptional; very kind, very knowledgeable, casual, and just the right amount of presence. I took one star off the location solely because of the entrance: beautiful but a tad too dark. In conclusion: exceptional, and we'll return soon. Truly, everything was perfect.

20/05/2026: The waiters were not very friendly, the dining room was dark, they made us feel uncomfortable, and in the end, as soon as we finished eating, they immediately started clearing the table, making us understand that we had to go 😡. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. ☹️☹️

10/06/2026: We went for dinner for my birthday. I can only say I'm satisfied with the service, the food, and the ambiance. There were two of us and we chose à la carte dishes plus dessert. Everything was truly excellent and presented in a comprehensive and captivating way. It was a truly delicious experience, one I'd happily repeat.

28/03/2026: This place was an absolute highlight of our recent trip. This place is so beautiful, the food and wine were delicious and the service felt more like you were coming over to Roberto’s home for dinner- because you were. There isn’t a menu. Instead you let Roberto know what your dietary restrictions are and some amazing dishes come out of the kitchen. There was lamb smoking in the fireplace when we arrived, and he was able to accommodate a pescatarian. The place is lit only by candles. It feels like dining in a fairy tale. Highly, highly recommend.

We started with a mixed appetizer, varied and beautifully presented, featuring high-quality ingredients and balanced flavors. Among the first courses, the Gorgonzola risotto with pears and saffron was creamy and well-blended, with an interesting contrast between sweet and savory. Perhaps a little delicate in flavor, but still very enjoyable. The real star was the Piedmontese-style fritto misto: a rich and abundant dish, featuring a variety of meats, vegetables, and more unusual preparations. The fried food was crispy and fairly dry, although some pieces were a bit heavier. Overall, however, it was traditional and satisfying. The desserts were also highly appreciated: the fresh and well-balanced sorbets and the delicious fried desserts, perfect for ending the meal. The friendly service and quiet atmosphere were ideal for a relaxed dinner. The prices were average, consistent with the quality and quantity. A positive experience, especially recommended for those who want to try traditional Piedmontese cuisine, with a delicious mixed fry.

09/05/2026: Good evening, we went to this trattoria bar in Turin this evening. We had a mixed appetizer consisting of Piedmontese meat carpaccio and tartare, Bra sausage, a plate of fresh goat cheeses with caramelized onions and a salsa verde, cooked salami, sliced ​​tongue, and veal with tuna sauce, accompanied by breadsticks and bread. Everything was truly delicious! The first course I tried was the braised beef agnolotti with roast beef sauce and tajarinne with ragù, both excellent. For the second course, the braised veal cheek was truly excellent, and to finish, the dessert, Bonet, was delicious. A must-try experience if you're passing through Turin in this Piola! All accompanied by such friendliness and professionalism! A place I highly recommend, the quality/price ratio is truly unbeatable! What else can I say? Enjoy your meal!

24/04/2026: Came here for lunch and honestly one of the best meals I've had in Turin. Family-run, unpretentious, and the food is the real deal — proper Piedmontese cooking, nothing more nothing less. Ended up sitting with two nice locals who told me about the place. That kind of thing doesn't happen by accident - it says a lot about the environment they've created here. There is no English menu (which is a plus for me) but who needs it these days?

15/06/2026: Very nice place located in a very lively area like Balon, we were a little perplexed by the appetizers, in our opinion something was missing both the tuna sauce and the tartare but very satisfied with the first and second courses, the waiters are helpful and very kind, in any case we recommend a place!

10/06/2026: Great experience! One of the few restaurants where the menu is almost entirely gluten-free and they don't charge a surcharge. From appetizers to desserts, almost all the options are gluten-free and suitable for celiacs. The service is very fast!

01/06/2026: The restaurant is downtown, at the foot of the Mole Antonelliana. A very charming place, tastefully decorated. The owners are super welcoming, and the food is divine (agnolotti, beef tartare, bunet... all excellent). The price was very fair. Having read the very flattering reviews about this restaurant, we had high expectations: well, they were fully met, in fact... even exceeded!! We'll definitely be back.

The owner of the establishment indicated that those tables were reserved for that time. So, book well in advance or go for lunch before 1:00 pm.
