The cutting board arrived served in a careful, abundant manner and with excellent products. The Albis non-alcoholic aperitif: very good. We even asked for an encore. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

18/04/2025: My name is Luigi, I'm 11 years old and I'm on vacation in Piedmont, last night I was there and the first thing I saw on the table were the cutlery that seemed like gold, very beautiful, easy and comfortable to use, then regarding the food I had the mozzarella which was very soft and creamy, the raw ham very good, but above all without a very high quantity of salt, and then regarding the pizza I had the bufalina, in which first of all I had eaten the morsels with the sauce together, G-O-O-D-I-S-E-M and then normally the pizza that was also excellent. The moral? I would spend the evenings only there.

12/04/2025: Per qualità, varietà e prezzo probabilmente una delle migliori pause pranzo di Torino in zona centro. Con 10 euro si possono mangiare 2 mezze porzioni (che sono spesso molto abbondanti) a scelta tra primi e secondi molto variegati. Non manca quasi mai il pesce e qualche piatto di stagione. Per non farsi mancare nulla nei 10 euro sono compresi anche l'acqua o un buon bicchiere di vino. Certo qualche piatto è meno riuscito di altri ma nel complesso si mangia bene!

06/04/2025: Discovered by chance from a video on social media, as a good Sicilian I absolutely had to try it. I found everything you can taste on the island, but what tickled me the most was the strictly sesame sandwich with panelle and croquettes seasoned with salt, pepper and lemon, the first bite was so tasty that the photo posted of the empty plate indicates that I didn't have time to photograph it as I finished it. The arancino with meat sauce made on the spot is excellent, and finally, what can we say about the cannoli stuffed with goat's ricotta. Definitely coming back to try other specialties but especially the chicken which must be spectacular. Thank you for the re-emerged tastes and flavors of our beloved Sicilian land

14/02/2025: La reservation est facile, le proprietaire parle bien francais et est franchement tres gentil. Pensez a reserver car c'est une table classique et appreciee du coin, nappes et serviettes en tissu, cela nous change de la decadence culinaire francaise ou cela devient rare. A 21h00 le restaurant etait plein, et un jeudi. Le reste est tout sauf une cantine mais plutot un restaurant de bon niveau ou on sert une cuisine local classique et soignee, les prix ne sont pas hyper eleves mais pas non plus bon marche compte tenu des proportions relativement congrues. Le service est sans reproche, avec le sourire et en francais, avec des menus egalement en francais, franchement c'est tres appreciable de voir un tel niveau general. La decoration est assez classique, sur un modele chasse des annees 80', on aime ou pas, question de gout. La grande specialite est la Tagliata, sorte de roti de veau qu'on vous decoupe en tranches devant vous avec legumes, le tout pour un prix tres correct (25 euros par personne, mini 2). Les pates sont excellentes, tout comme leur risotto egalement. Les desserts sont copieux, classiques et bons, pas de deception sur ce point.Les vins sont a des prix tres corrects contrairement a chez nous. Globalement comptez 55/60 euros par personne tout compris. Le restaurant vaut le deplacement, et j'y retournerai avec plaisir.

31/03/2025: Lovely neighbourhood restaurant with excellent Piedmontese cuisine. The owner and staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and the food was first class. Everything is home made and portions are generous . The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and we would definitely come back again.

28/02/2025: Pastry shop with a capital "P"; elegant and well-kept venue, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wide choice of desserts, puff pastries, miniatures with attention to detail and elegant and delicious single portions. Technique, art and taste come together in a perfect union. Honorable mention for the single portions "coconut and raspberry" and "orange"; the first warms the heart while the second refreshes the palate, accompanied by a coffee (excellent here) they are perfect for a stop in the name of good taste. Well done!

23/03/2025: Just appearance. I stopped by by chance for breakfast. I ask for a chocolate croissant and they give me a frozen and badly reheated Nutella thing thrown on the counter. I ask if I can sit outside and the answer is that I have to pay, but I already had the money in my hand, as if I wanted to run away. The last straw: I pay with 50 and they give me 20 change, unfortunately I realized it after I left there.

20/03/2025: Hanno adeguato l' igiene del locale al quartiere che li circonda, è sufficiente guardare al di la del bancone per accorgersi della ridotta pulizia, come se non bastasse il barista prende a mani nude i panini e te li mette in un piattino per servirteli, le stesse mani che pochi istanti prima avevano maneggiato il pagamento in contanti di un altro cliente. Da evitare.

12/03/2025: Dear foodies, don’t be confused with the rating of this restaurant, it’s mostly if not totally about atmosphere, music, candles and fireplace. The food is very basic. Course of 5 dishes - plain cut vegetables for starter, beetroot salsa with brusquettas, potatoe gratin with a comment that in this poor area that what ppl would be eating in old days (seems like these days continue) , boiled thin slice of beef again with potatoes and the simplest desert. But if you like to experience nice romantic place , without much expectations for food, you won’t regret.

15/03/2025: Being welcomed by Mr. Mario, owner of the restaurant, with a warm smile, is always a pleasure. On his advice we dined with seasonal elements: an appetizer of fried porcini mushrooms, served in the traditional cuoppo and a tartar of excellent quality Piedmontese Fassone veal raw meat, garnished with finely cut raw porcini mushrooms with parmesan flakes. A glass of Grignolino to stay on topic. There is no shortage of attention that the staff kindly places on the table. A dinner that left us satisfied, in terms of quality and service, without forgetting the bill which in my opinion is among the cheapest in Turin. Very satisfied and greetings to all the members of the Silvestro restaurant.
