La Caletta In Mazzè

I went to La Caletta for dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant is beautiful and charming, with a view of the lake. While dining, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. There were plenty of mosquitoes by the lake, so I recommend eating outside or on the adjacent lawn. The menu offers meat and seafood specialties, with a focus on fish. The dishes were good, but given the price, I expected them to be more carefully crafted and thoughtful (e.g., the turbot was served without sauce and with a very simple side dish, almost a home-style dish). We spent about €60 each, including an appetizer, a first course, two second courses, and a dessert. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The noise level was a bit high, slightly detracting from the romantic atmosphere. I would recommend the restaurant limit the noise where possible to maintain the elegant atmosphere of the location. I would return to try something new.

What can I say... We wanted to take a day trip out of town and were recommended La Caletta as a restaurant location. We left Milan to relax on a Saturday, but once we arrived, we were amazed. A very, very nice place with a very relaxing atmosphere. A FABULOUS place. If we add the friendliness and hospitality of the owners, Manuela and Angelo, it all becomes top 10. They made us feel like the center of attention. Not to mention the professionalism of the staff. Smiling, kind, available for every need. I won't add anything else except a few words about the lunch. ..what can I say... Michelin-starred chef in my opinion... because everything was good and fresh... even the raw fish, both the tartare and the shrimp, were sublime... not to mention the tuna, a simple dish but impeccably executed... spaghetti with clams was superb... all accompanied by a good white wine that would have made us happy to give up our driving license... You guys made one of the happiest and most beautiful days of 2026... Relaxing afternoon on the lake beach with a pedal boat ride... a cool shower for the heat... well, there's even an outdoor shower... top... a real treat... In short, if you want to be a regular customer, go elsewhere... if you want to be treated like a "TOP customer," come here! And then let me know how satisfying it is to be pampered... What a place!!! One of the most evocative aperitifs we've ever had the fortune of enjoying...and we visit beautiful places all the time for work. You'll never want to leave, and if you think about it, there's really no reason to. It's peaceful to gaze at the lake and the mountains in the background. Nice wine list...and, here, you can't help but order Erbaluce. Friendly, professional, and fast service. Prices are reasonable. For an experience like this, you're willing to pay.

The location is welcoming and well-maintained, perfect for a special evening. The food was excellent, with well-prepared dishes and quality ingredients. Kudos also to the staff: kind, attentive, and always available, they made us feel welcomed from start to finish. Thank you to all the staff for helping make my birthday even more wonderful.

Here, the carefully selected ingredients are not masked by heavy sauces or confusing combinations, but are enhanced to the fullest with great technique and lightness. I began lunch with mussels: incredibly fresh, plump, and prepared in a light, fragrant stew that fully respects the mollusc's authentic flavor. Next, the Spaghetti with Clams proved to be a masterpiece of balance: perfectly drawn pasta, impeccably bound with tomato water, and enriched with crunchy crumbs. A savory, straightforward dish, where you can clearly taste the purity of every single ingredient, without any unnecessary grease. The real surprise at the end was the dessert: an incredible artisanal gelato, which tasted incredibly of fresh, genuine milk, creamy yet light, perfect for a pure, unpretentious end to the meal. Eating with this quality of execution while enjoying the splendid view of Lake Candia and pampered by attentive service makes the experience a real highlight. The menu is extensive, the price is more than fair. Highly recommended!

La Caletta del Canavese is a sure thing: a splendid place with an enchanting view of Lake Candia. The food is always fresh and excellent, accompanied by a truly extensive and select wine list. The relaxing atmosphere, combined with the friendly and professional staff, makes every lunch or dinner a special experience. A favorite place where I always love to return!

Wonderful find. Great location by the lake in a beautiful recently updated setting. The food was beautifully cooked and presented with great flavours. The service was fantastic and thoughtful. The view was stunning. Highly recommended. Catered well for gluten-free needs. Good prices. Great local wine. Wonderful saxophone playing in the background. They also have a cocktail bar on site which we didn't get to try. Plenty of parking. Lovely experience. We will return. Thank you.
