13/12/2025: Terrible experience. I was with my partner. As soon as we arrived, we ordered a bottle of wine and, after consulting the menu, we were a bit disappointed and decided to stay just for an aperitif. My partner informed me that we wouldn't be staying for dinner and, already at the cash register, proceeded with payment. I was still sitting at the table: we hadn't finished either the bottle or the aperitif. The lady who served us asked my partner, while she was at the cash register, if we wanted to finish the bottle at the table or if we'd prefer it packaged for takeout. He clearly replied that he'd like to finish it inside. Despite this, she continued to insist, saying she'd package it for us to take away anyway. She then approached me at the table and asked the exact same question. I also replied that I wanted to finish the bottle there. At that point, without further explanation, he took the bottle from the table and carried it away. I was shocked. When my companion returned from the register, I asked for an explanation, because I've never experienced a situation like this in any other restaurant. We clearly felt unwelcome, as if he wanted us "out of the way" with an inappropriate and not at all veiled insistence. Such behavior was profoundly rude. A decent person, if necessary, would have simply asked for the table to be vacated by a certain time, since we weren't staying for dinner. That would have been understandable. In all of this, I want to point out that the restaurant was empty, but we certainly would have understood the situation had it been presented to us in a fair and respectful manner. I don't usually leave reviews, but I've never experienced anything like this.

04/10/2025: Very cozy, and everything is regional. Be sure to follow the owner's wine recommendation. Simply sensational. We were only here for a snack, but we'll be back to stay overnight.

17/09/2025: The short version of what I think of Cantina Alpina is "the best polenta in the Susa Valley." To go further, I'll add: - the tiny village of Eclause is experiencing a resurgence, thanks to exhibitions, concerts, and events organized by the winery; - the staff is friendly and helpful; - the polenta is amazing (but I may have already mentioned that); - besides the polenta, everything else on the menu is delicious. In short, a must-visit for mountain lovers. Oh, and the price is very reasonable.

07/12/2025: Last night I dined at this Sicilian restaurant with a group of 10 friends, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. Let's start with the menu: the selection was rather limited, and the quality of the dishes didn't meet expectations. The portions arrived significantly smaller, less generous than one might expect from a traditional restaurant. But the real sticking point was the service. We had to wait over an hour before being served, and what's more, the dishes didn't arrive together. Considering that we were a table of 10 and that some had ordered the same dishes, this lack of coordination in the kitchen was particularly frustrating. Some of us started eating while others were still waiting, completely ruining the conviviality of the evening. Another sore point: the wine list is extremely limited. In a restaurant that bills itself as Sicilian, finding only three Sicilian wines is truly a shame and a contradiction. Sicily boasts an extraordinary winemaking tradition that isn't even minimally appreciated here. And now we come to the bill, probably the most surprising aspect: we spent way too much for what we received. Those who ordered just a first course and a dessert paid €30, while those who also ordered an appetizer, a dessert, and a glass of wine came to nearly €50. Prices are decidedly out of line considering the small portions, the modest quality, and the inefficient service. In short, between the modest quality of the food, the small portions, the disorganized service, the poor wine list, and excessive prices, I absolutely cannot recommend this place. A real shame, because Sicilian cuisine deserves to be much better appreciated.

08/12/2025: I tried the linguine with red mullet and avocado cream, and I have to say I was truly impressed. The red mullet is delicate and pairs beautifully with the linguine. The avocado cream is soft and fresh, tying everything together perfectly without overpowering the other flavors. The presentation is also meticulous, making the dish even more inviting. It's definitely worth a try. Elegant setting, excellent service.

23/10/2025: The restaurant is located in a prestigious historical setting, one of Turin's most beautiful squares. It's welcoming, clean, and tidy. The service is consistently prompt, the food is well-prepared, beautifully plated, and of good quality, and the price is fair.

16/07/2025: UÂO PIZZA was an exciting discovery. I ordered a simple Margherita, accompanied by water and a glass of white wine, and was truly impressed. The pizza was extraordinary: soft, well-leavened dough, a perfect crust, and above all, lots of fresh, abundant tomato. I asked the owner why so many other pizzerias always have scant and dry tomatoes, and he replied that many try to save money, while they don't: they use plenty and only choose high-quality ingredients. The place is small but welcoming, with attention to detail, a beautiful open-plan oven and large windows overlooking the street. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The price is also excellent (15 euros total). A 10-euro pizza!

16/07/2025: Exceptional pizza! Margherita with lots of fresh tomatoes, just the way I like them, perfect dough, and white wine to complete the experience. A small, cozy, and well-kept place. Fairly priced (€15). I'll be back!

30/11/2025: Fine location. Helpful, friendly, and attentive staff. I really noticed the cleanliness and elegance of the uniforms, all identical, a custom that is unfortunately being lost even in high-end establishments. For an amuse-bouche, they served a savory amaretto with Toma fondue, with a distinct herbal flavor. Next came the baked goods, which I found excellent. Honey and buckwheat bread, breadsticks, and streusel tongues. The latter, which I tried for the first time, were truly sublime. Thin and fragrant. The citrus butter served with the baked goods was excellent. I began my meal with shrimp, orange, potatoes, and pumpkin puree. A dish with various delicate and sweet elements that clashed and paired well with the tart, citrusy notes of the raw orange. My only complaint was that there was too much orange on the plate compared to the rest of the dish. I continued sharing tagliolini and truffle risotto with my companion, along with swordfish fusillone, octopus cbt, and mushroom stew. The tagliolini were excellent, but the risotto was on another level. The best dish of the evening. Perfectly cooked and creamed, then the top-quality truffle completed an already technically perfect dish. The fusillone was delicious. First and foremost, the quality and, once again, the cooking of the pasta itself, then the sauce or emulsion that bound the dish together was fantastic. The aromatic notes of the pine nuts and the sweetness of the raisins were excellent. The swordfish released its flavor into the dish in a moderate and appropriate way, not overpowering but still complementing. Finishing with the crunchy note of the aromatic bread. The octopus cbt was unforgettable. Amazingly cooked. Crispy on the outside, so tender and soft on the inside that it melted in the mouth. Without a doubt, the best slow-cooked octopus I've ever tasted. Then came the mushroom stew. This mushroom sauce is the base, followed by toma fondue spikes, the same as the amuse-bouche, and roasted potatoes. The roasted potato is the real highlight, both in terms of presentation and tasting. The dish is overall beautifully savory, yet delicious. For dessert, we tried sweet ricotta and blue cheese panna cotta. The blue cheese panna cotta was unique and excellent. I also really enjoyed the candied celery, with its fresh notes. The blue cheese is noticeable, and is undoubtedly the main ingredient, but it doesn't steal the show from the panna cotta and the rest of the toppings. I would see this dish as a perfect complement to dessert, not as a replacement. I would include it in place of the cheese platter, which isn't needed here, but it helps to show where I think this dish finds its place. The sweet ricotta with peaches and dark chocolate, on the other hand, is a well-balanced and tasty dessert. To finish, coffee and some cookies, which I enjoyed so much that I bought a pack to take home. During the meal, we drank a full-bodied, sparkling white wine, Alta Langa DOCG, mostly Chardonnay, extra brut. It's my first time trying this wine, and it's excellent. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I'll definitely be back.

30/11/2025: Fantastic experience For our anniversary after visiting the Royal Palace, we went to this restaurant. When booking, I requested the option of having a red rose for my wife at the table... and here are the photos... with a delightful surprise at the end: the dessert and the plate decorated by them with the phrase "Happy Anniversary." You can immediately sense the special atmosphere of the place. My sincere compliments to the entire restaurant staff, always present but never intrusive... attentive to every detail with impeccable and truly delicate service. The restaurant is located right in the square in front of the Royal Palace. I'm not posting photos of the dishes simply because there's no reason to publicize them, as they are sublime... I invite you to try them if you're in the area; you won't regret it. Thank you so much again for your attention. I look forward to hearing from you.

And we come from Genoa to eat there, that says it all. There's not a single flaw and we'll keep coming back. Congratulations!

22/07/2025: Esperienza Incantevole alla Rosa Bianca di Chieri La Rosa Bianca di Chieri si conferma una vera gemma culinaria, dove ogni dettaglio è pensato per regalare un’esperienza memorabile. Fin dal primo istante, l’ambiente colpisce per la sua eleganza: gli spazi sono incredibilmente ben curati, e ogni tavolo è apparecchiato con gusto e una ricercatezza che si percepisce in ogni singolo elemento, dal tovagliato alle posate, creando un’atmosfera davvero raffinata e accogliente. Il personale merita un plauso speciale: sempre attento, discreto e di una cordialità squisita, contribuisce in maniera significativa a rendere il pasto un momento di puro piacere. Ogni richiesta viene gestita con professionalità e un sorriso, facendoti sentire coccolato ma mai invadente. E poi, la cucina. Le portate sono non solo molto buone, ma anche splendidamente presentate. Ogni piatto è un piccolo capolavoro visivo prima ancora di essere gustato, rivelando poi sapori equilibrati e ingredienti di alta qualità. È evidente la passione e la maestria che si celano dietro ogni creazione. In sintesi, “La Rosa Bianca” è un indirizzo da segnare per chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica completa: un luogo dove l’eccellenza si trova nell’estetica, nel servizio e, soprattutto, nel piatto. Assolutamente consigliato!
