In a familiar yet lush setting, you can enjoy excellent Castelmagno cheese and traditional dishes like the famous "Gnocchi al Castelmagno," all while enjoying impeccable service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

27/07/2025: Quando attribuisco un voto negativo ad un ristorante sono sempre dispiaciuto , ma è giusto scrivere per far migliorare. Arriviamo alle 13.00 e ci fanno accomodare in una sala già completa : due grandi tavoli di una comitiva urlante , uno di signori francesi super rumorosi e qualche altro . Il frastuono incredibile è diventato lentamente una tortura. Non dico per parlare con i propri commensali, ma solo per evitare il mal di testa . Tempi lunghissimi di attesa tra le portate , a dire il vero mediocri . Amuse - bouche gradevoli , antipasti nella norma , agnolotti del plin senza carattere e dal sapore indefinito , come la guancia brasata di maiale veramente mediocre . Non abbiamo provato i dolci per il timore di dover attendere un’altra mezz’ora nel caos . Servizio approssimativo ( portano senza chiederci una bottiglia di acqua gasata e una naturale, si scordano del pane , del parmigiano da cospargere sulle tagliatelle….) Direi molto inferiore alle aspettative. Non tornerò.

06/10/2025: Discovered by chance, we were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff. The atmosphere is well-decorated, with light colors that convey a sense of tranquility but also a pleasant sense of family warmth. The combination of ambiance and the staff's hospitality is crowned by the dishes offered, which blend tradition with a touch of innovation. The end result is a pleasant and relaxing meal in every way. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Welcoming place, attentive but in my opinion too slow service, all dishes good except the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, for which I had high expectations and which instead I found very anonymous.

14/10/2025: We had a fantastic meal in the incredibly beautiful city of Cuneo. Early in the evening, we were lucky enough to get a table. It quickly became very busy and the atmosphere was cheerful!

02/09/2025: A lovely restaurant with a very pleasant terrace in a small alley. The food and service were excellent. In terms of quantity, you should combine the primi and sekondi dishes. A large wine selection. Reasonably priced.

16/09/2025: Enchanting place, welcoming rooms, rustic elegance that makes you feel at ease. Courteous, attentive, and capable service. Carefully crafted dishes, captivating flavors, excellent raw ingredients, pastas, meats, and vegetables are respected and enhanced. Varied wine list, with a good selection of producers. Menu sampled by two: vegetable tartlet/bagna cauda reduction, mushroom/licorice risotto, stew/Barolo reduction (melting), chestnut dessert/orange sauce, panettone/zabaglione (sumptuous). Tried several times, over several stays, I'll add the latest "menu discoveries": quail/porcini mushrooms, porcini mushroom/truffle tart, pumpkin/porcini risotto, gnocchi bleu/beetroot, fried porcini mushrooms, chickpea/vegetable soup, hot chocolate tart, chestnut cream...SUPER-LA-TI-VI. Rooms for those who want to stay spacious, comfortable, clean, and with spectacular views!

It serves typical Piedmontese cuisine, including excellent veal with tuna sauce and rice with porcini mushrooms. Wines are also available by the glass. The service is friendly and prompt. Prices are average. A detour is recommended.

01/06/2025: 77 years of revelry, I have eaten in the best Italian, French and Spanish restaurants (almost always avoided the starred ones). Sure that I can include this restaurant in the best in terms of quality, service, courtesy etc. among all those I have tried in my past, I am writing this review not because of the enthusiasm of the first time, but after several times in which I have been in the countryside of Cuneo. I can only compliment, even on improvised and off-menu dishes, always perfect, with very fresh ingredients and worthy of seconds, impossible to do for the abundant quantities served. Price adequate (low) for the service and quality eaten. Too bad that my age will not allow me to frequent this restaurant for much longer, it deserves it

18/05/2025: Abbiamo avuto l'onore di conoscere questo ottimo ristorante siciliano , accoglienza ottima i titolari cordiali, gentili, atmosfera rilassante,servizio ottimo con il titolare Giovanni che ti accoglie in modo semplice , persona simpatica e molto piacente, che dire del cibo ottimo preparato con cura dalla moglie complimenti,il pesce freschissimo tutti gli ingredienti amalgamati con cura ,gusti delicati ,profumati, che dire scapho,i dolci ottimi dalla cassata, al cannolo siciliano un esplosione di gusto e sapori, arte e poesia per il palato ci torneremo con immenso piacere.. grazie mille

21/07/2025: E’ una certezza. Ho pranzato almeno venti volte in questo ristorante negli ultimi dieci anni. Perfetto per un pranzo di lavoro come per un pranzo domenicale in famiglia. L’ultima volta era giugno e si mangia all’aperto, nella corte piena di piante e fiori. I piatti variano a seconda delle stagioni ma con costanti deliziose. Il servizio prevede una serie di importanti amouse bouche cui seguono i piatti scelti da ogni commensale e, dopo il dolce, una elaborata serie di pasticcini. Sommeiller è responsabile del servizio di rara simpatia. Tutto il personale è in ogni caso cortese.

12/07/2025: 2 stelle per un 2 stelle. Premetto che questa recensione è in linea con le aspettative che uno ha quando va a cenare in un ristorante 2 stelle Michelin. Sabato 5 Luglio siamo andati a mangiare per festeggiare il compleanno di mio papà e di mia sorella Sul cibo niente da dire, molto buono e ben curato, forse non troppo innovative le preparazioni, però tutto abbastanza in linea con un ristorante di questo livello. Passiamo al servizio: TOTALMENTE INADEGUATO. Il servizio è stato peggio di quello che si può ricevere in una trattoria di basso livello. I camerieri, parlo al plurale, perché siamo stati serviti praticamente un po’ da tutti, per niente professionali. Il burro è quasi stato letteralmente lanciato sul tavolo anziché adagiarlo con garbo. Una cameriera che pareva quasi infastidita nel servire i tavoli, con tanto di sbuffi e bonfocchi. Inoltre quando abbiamo preso l’ordinazione, abbiamo chiesto se era possibile ordinare i secondi in un successivo momento e ci è stato detto che non c’era nessun problema. Finiti i primi, al posto di chiederci se desideravamo un secondo, ci è stato sparecchiato l’intero tavolo portando via condimenti e pane. Quando abbiamo detto che volevamo ordinare il secondo, ci è stato concesso ma ovviamente né il pane né i condimenti sono stati riportati E infine ciliegina sulla torta, quando la cameriera è venuta a dirci dei dolci, ha detto a mia sorella che non avevano dolci senza latte , mia sorella però è celiaca e non intollerante al lattosio, quando le abbiamo ricordato la cosa, ha smadonnato per ben due volte. Per un ristorante due stelle Michelin il servizio è totalmente inadeguato
