23/01/2026: Excellence in hospitality and authentic flavors in the heart of Alba. We dined at Il Cortiletto d’Alba restaurant, and the experience was immediately top-notch. We were greeted with impeccable grace and efficiency by a young waitress who welcomed us with great professionalism. The real added value, however, was meeting a very kind lady who explained the menu to us. More than just a reading of the dishes, it was a passionate account of the ingredients: she provided us with detailed information on the provenance of the ingredients, all of which were of the highest quality. From the famous Entracque potatoes to the delicacy of the black truffle, to the organic vegetables, every element exuded freshness and local tradition. What truly struck us—and almost embarrassed by how rare it is these days—was the lady's attention and extreme kindness; a thoughtfulness that makes the guest feel truly special. In the kitchen, the ingredients are treated with respect: the dishes are flavorful and balanced, showcasing each individual ingredient without overpowering it. A valuable tip: the restaurant is very popular, so booking in advance is highly recommended. Although we didn't, we were lucky: thanks to their exceptional helpfulness and courtesy, they managed to find us two seats despite being sold out. The price was more than fair. We'll definitely be back. A big shout out to all the staff: really well done!

09/11/2025: First time in Val Grana. We went up for a unique Saturday in this beautiful valley with spectacular foliage. As we walked up to the Sanctuary, it was lunchtime when we noticed the sign for this fantastic inn. Patrizia welcomed us and cooked impeccably for us. Everything was delicious. She was friendly and very professional. Thank you, Patrizia. We will definitely be back. I forgot about the mountain-style decor and the priceless view. Excellent value. They make their own Castelmagno cheese, and you can buy it for yourself; it's delicious.

06/01/2026: A very characteristic restaurant in the center of Alba, with a subterranean stone room with brick vaults and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I had the 30-yolk tajarin with white truffle: simply excellent, perfect pasta and top-quality truffle.

30/12/2025: Chic space, awesome wine & the best Tajarin with truffles during my entire trip. Service-wise, it was ok- one mean and very pushy woman nearly ruined the meal. Food was excellent so I’d go back for sure.

15/02/2026: The Piedmontese-style fritto misto was good. The portions were too large to finish, in my opinion. The Nebbiolo served with it was also good.

04/03/2026: An unimaginable sensory experience. The Langhe cuisine is of the highest quality. Tajarin al Ragù is a must-try, with octopus salad as a main course. The accompanying focaccia is divine, truly divine. Complimentary hazelnut sweets. We will definitely be back. Peace and good food reign here. Thanks to Le Tre Galline and to God who led us here.

07/03/2026: During my one-night stay, I had the pleasure of dining in the hotel restaurant. The cuisine was high-quality, meticulously prepared with great attention to presentation, and, importantly, at a more than fair price. All the dishes I ate were top-notch. The veal cheek braised in Nebbiolo was superb! The well-kept and welcoming rooms make this hotel, which should have at least 4 stars, not 2, the ideal place for a relaxing stay.

08/03/2026: A splendid and impeccably maintained location; unfortunately, the cuisine still needs some improvement to fully live up to the setting. The initial wait was a bit long, but overall bearable: the location and the view help you enjoy the moment. Expectations were high, especially since it's a place we'd love to return to. A few small adjustments to the dishes would be advisable: • Octopus alla Luciana: tender and flavorful, but slightly dry and cut with a knife not exactly suited to the task; • Tagliolini with cacio e pepe and mussels: tasty, but these also arrived a bit dry. An interesting note about the bread: we were told "we'll bring you some warm bread soon"... we expected it to be freshly baked, but instead it was lukewarm but cold in the middle—hard to understand why. The portions were still good, and the dishes were tasty overall. The unsolicited discount at the end was appreciated. Overall, a positive experience: we'll be back.

08/03/2026: It's a shame to write this, but it's true. We went there as a last resort, as it was the one and only place in Alba that had a table for two available on a Sunday evening... and given how the evening went, it was a blessing in disguise! A top food and wine experience! The wine cellar is exceptional, the ingredients are spectacular, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and competent. Thank you for giving us the last table.

07/03/2026: My partner and I went there on Friday evening. What can I say? Everything was excellent. From the location to the food to the service. A dream wine list. 100 pages of tablets with an incredible selection of local wines. I was especially struck by the great honesty in the wine prices; I was amazed by the wide variety at truly fair prices. Everything else was also honest, and the service was very kind and attentive, truly pleasant. What can I say... highly recommended.

16/02/2026: Today I had lunch for €50 for four appetizers (celery, walnut, and Toma Bergera cheese salad—very '80s-esque), marinated eel, and pumpkin flan (2 portions), all excellent, a pumpkin puree, and two disappointing desserts (the pumpkin and chocolate pie was a truly cold pie). A bottle of water, 1/2 carafe of wine, and a coffee. The wall in front of me is peeling. The waitress is polite. It seems expensive, all things considered.

10/03/2026: The osteria where you can experience and enjoy the authentic atmosphere and good food of the Langhe. All in a set menu with four excellent appetizers, two first courses, including the best tajarin I've ever eaten, and then exquisite second courses and desserts.

11/01/2026: Always a guarantee and always a pleasure to return to when in the Cuneo area. The meat is always top-notch, with sublime Bra sausage and a devastating battuta al taglio. No other words are needed. I recommend trying the Barolo Chinato at the end of the meal.

03/03/2026: Classy osteria. A charming place, from the attentive, friendly, professional staff to the authentic, refined food, presented in a way worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. The wine selection is superb and extensive, highly recommended for pairing with the dishes. The service is impeccable, patient, and incredibly kind, even with children. The ample, off-street parking is very convenient and practical. There are only a few rooms, and we even stayed in them. Breakfast and a good night's sleep were also excellent.

04/02/2026: I can't quite describe the feeling I felt when we walked through the doors of Osteria Ra Ca 'D Baruc other than returning to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of home. It might have been the way they greeted you as if you were an old customer you hadn't seen in a while, or the exposed brick walls, the beams, or the roaring fireplace... perhaps all of them combined. There's no set menu, just a series of dishes, each more delicious than the last, based on Piedmontese tradition with a few twists to make them even better. I think it will become the place we'll go with family to celebrate important and less important events.
