12/05/2026: Lunch for two, pre-booked. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Service was quick.
We had to park in the squares at the bottom of Barge because everything nearby is limited to one hour, but the walk was pleasant.
Classic and excellent dishes, reasonable prices.

03/05/2026: In the center of Barge, a trattoria, a "piola" of yesteryear, that you're slowly finding no more. Excellent, home-cooked food. Set menu: 4 appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a side dish. Dessert, water, wine, and coffee.
Spent 55 for two with two extras.
Starters: Excellent, light Russian salad that didn't taste like mayonnaise. Quality chopped raw beef. Good chicken salad. Good Tomino/robiola cheese: 1 agnolotti with ragù and 1 tagliatelle with walnut sauce. Braised beef with baked potatoes and paper. Dessert: 1 bonet and 1 caramelized cream. I wasn't crazy about the wine on tap. Recommended place.

02/05/2026: After a hike to the Croce di Envie, we had a pleasant surprise when we stopped at the Trattoria La Trappa for lunch. The owner, who was very kind and professional, was courteous and professional. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the quality/price ratio was excellent.

This restaurant is a perfect example of Piedmontese hospitality, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail: a lovely gym, a fantastic pool, and quality food and wine! 26/12/2025: It's a very beautiful and welcoming restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, and the two people serving are attentive and kind. It's a shame the service was so slow! For a dinner where we ordered a tasting menu with an appetizer, first course, and second course, it took 3.5 hours. On average, one dish every hour, and a bit of it came out. So, if you want excellent food in a comfortable setting and aren't too hungry given the wait, this is definitely a place to recommend.

17/11/2024: Gradevolissima locale in un ambiente naturale molto bello, vicino all’antica Trappa di Mombracco. Cucina casalinga , ottima e molto genuina. Servizio efficiente, personale gentile, non caro. Davvero consigliato.

03/01/2025: Siamo stati in cascina per il cenone di San Silvestro, locale molto accogliente, servizio all’altezza, ogni pietanza è stata servita su un piatto diverso e ben impiattata, gli antipasti erano abbinati a sapori particolari che ho molto apprezzato.
Unico suggerimento: nel menù avrei scritto “dolce” e non “dolci” visto che ne è stato servito solo uno

04/03/2025: Andato per un pranzo di lavoro.....cibo discreto, servizio pessimo e ospitalita vergognosa. A mio parere, per i pranzi di lavoro occorrerebbe un altra organizzazione. Tempi di attesa assurdi e come ripeto.....oste imbarazzante. Impossibile prenotare.....il telefono squilla ma nessuno risponde

Da fuori non gli daresti una lira (e pure dentro non è irresistibile…) ma è un’autentica trattoria dove si mangia quel che è stato preparato quello stesso giorno (e che può finire) con un rapporto qualità prezzo (12 Euro per due portate più dolce e caffè) imparagonabile con qualsiasi altro posto, in Italia, in cui sia mai stato!

13/05/2025: Siamo andati qui grazie a dei nostri amici che ci vanno abbastanza regolarmente.
Ce ne hanno parlato bene e abbiamo deciso di andarci ed effettivamente è stata una piacevole scoperta.

Costata al blu, imbattibile
Insomma, qualsiasi cosa abbia assaggiato, era veramente buona.
Il locale è spazioso e alcune sere fanno anche musica dal vivo.
Si presta bene per aperitivi e cene, perché ha tante cose buone, sia da stuzzicare che come piatti importanti e principali.
Cosa non da sottovalutare, ha il parcheggio comodo davanti all’ingresso, e ha anche un discreto spazio fuori da poter utilizzare quando non fa freddo, per poter bere all’esterno.
Come i miei amici lo hanno consigliato a me, io lo consiglio a voi !!!!
