26/07/2026: We ate dinner there twice and were served very kindly and hospitably – with a good sense of humor, too! The food was also delicious, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented!

11/07/2026: We were in Dogliani to celebrate our friend's bachelor party and were looking for a nice place to have dinner together. By chance, we stumbled upon Locanda del Sorriso and decided to give it a try: it was a very pleasant discovery! The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a special evening. Fantastic dishes made with high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors. You can sense the attention to Piedmontese tradition, reinterpreted with great taste. The wine list is also excellent, full of local selections, perfectly paired with the dishes. Fantastic service, almost no wait between courses, and the waiter who served us was super kind, taking the time not only to explain the dishes and wines but also to share some interesting facts about the place. A restaurant definitely worth a visit and one I recommend to anyone passing through Dogliani.

04/07/2026: After a pleasant walk along the Roccavione trails, we stopped for lunch with friends and two children. It was a wonderful discovery! The restaurant is welcoming and meticulously maintained. We ate truly well, with excellent, high-quality dishes. The children's menu was also very popular. The staff was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place!

23/06/2026: Beautiful place, it feels like a mountain cabin. Friendly staff. Well-presented dishes. Good pizza. Interesting desserts. Update: Dinner in the garden (given the heat of late June 2026). The knife-cut tartare was good, and the Fassona steak is highly recommended.

20/07/2026: A warm welcome, an elegant and refined setting, and the perfect temperature for a delicious dinner. The salted butter is exceptional, along with a selection of their breadsticks and focaccias. Excellent dishes, carefully selected ingredients, and beautifully presented. An impressive wine list. Highly recommended.

18/07/2026: I had a great meal at this place, which is also welcoming and attentive to gluten-free options. I can't wait to go back. P.S. I've been back several times since. The dishes are increasingly delicious. They just keep getting better! I should point out that there's free parking in the square next to the restaurant.

We left with something much rarer—the feeling of being treated like people, not just customers. The cuisine is authentic and carefully prepared, every dish has something positive to say. But what really struck us was something else. During the evening, an inconvenience arose. The way the owner handled it—with thoughtfulness and an unexpected gesture—left us speechless. Almost embarrassed, because today we're not accustomed to such humanity and kindness. In an age where the customer is often a mere number, here you sense that behind it there's someone who truly cares about what they do and whoever comes through their door. That's not learned professionalism—it's character. And that's a rare commodity. We'll be back soon...and no longer alone.

21/07/2026: This bar and restaurant is located in the center of Roccaforte Mondovì. We had cockerel salad, veal with tuna sauce (perfectly cooked), vegetable tart on raschera cheese fondue, and sliced ​​steak with mixed vegetables. Everything was very good and well-prepared. The service and bill were fine, but the restaurant was noisy. We've already booked another lunch. Super.

11/05/2026: The food and the atmosphere are very good. However, the way guests are treated leaves much to be desired! After our visit, the owner accused us in a very rude tone of not showing up despite having a reservation!?! We then sent him photos of the food and even the bill, but we never received an apology for his inappropriate behavior. Mistakes can happen, but one should also have the decency to admit them.

20/04/2026: We returned to Alba this year and again to All'Osteria, which did not disappoint. Local dishes, excellent ingredients, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, and service is attentive and courteous. Prices are reasonable. The new location is larger, with outdoor space as well.

04/08/2026: A family-run place out among the vineyards, and the pasta dishes were the best I think I've ever tasted. We ate outside on the terrace, and there's a lovely garden where our children could move around a bit between courses — which made a real difference with a 6-year-old and a toddler. The service was warm and genuinely welcoming. Well worth the short trip out of the village.

14/05/2026: This was our final meal before leaving Italy. Even though it was only a short 3-day trip, this meal was honestly better than the Michelin-starred restaurant we visited the night before. Incredible value for money, full of care and flavour. The milk gelato was also the best I’ve ever had. Definitely somewhere I would return to, I genuinely highly recommend it.
