The environment is very cozy, a nicely decorated courtyard, which even though it is just a stone's throw from the center, is neither noisy nor messy. The inn is run by a family, which is noticeable in the welcoming environment and the relaxed atmosphere. We received fantastic service and the staff always answered our questions and explained, among other things, the difference between different wines we tried. In addition to the regular menu, there was also a pasta with freshly caught seafood and a menu with dishes of the day, which we ordered from. Before the food arrived, we were surprised with a very good starter. I ordered a spiralotti with gorgonzola sauce and walnuts, which was absolutely heavenly. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and they also offered grated parmesan on top, which we accepted. The size of the portions is perfectly just right in my opinion, enough to fill you up but not nauseating. Afterwards, we each drank an espresso, as we were too full for any dessert. When we went in to pay, we talked to the woman at the cashier for a long time and also got to taste a delicious liqueur from the area. In conclusion, I can highly recommend coming here to eat, and I can't wait for the next time I'm here!

13/06/2025: For the umpteenth time we tried to go and eat at this place but, despite having had the reservation written on the agenda at the entrance, we were treated VERY BADLY by the guy who called himself a host for 25 years. A RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL RUDE MAN OF THOSE WHO TRUST HIS PLACE AND ITS ORGANIZATION. The icing on the cake was finding another person treated the same way in the adjacent square! I can't judge the chef's work, but the owner should leave some of his huge ego at home and take a bath of humility. We very willingly spent our money elsewhere! I will NEVER try to eat at this place AGAIN. I add, to respond to the very polite host of infinite experience, that the term "Ciccio" can be used with all his friends and relatives who, perhaps, are used to a certain type of education. "Stars are born from chance" 🤣 is only equal to: "flowers are born from manure". We also have a great poet. By the way! I didn't criticize the cook at all, on the contrary! Evidently the Italian language is unknown to the great poet/innkeeper. The "Owner's Response" emphasized the education of the aforementioned.

The pizza becomes more than a simple dish, but like an artist you compose it among the choices on the menu: you start with the choice of dough, the shape and finally the components. For me, classic dough with speck, gorgonzola and walnuts. During the (short) wait, two very good croutons arrived. The pizza is really good and I will definitely return as soon as I am in the area. Highly recommended

04/06/2025: Myself and 3 friends spent 3 nights in Alba and somehow became regulars here. We did 3 separate wine tastings and we got to try different wines every time. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and welcomed us warmly whenever we arrived. You can also purchase bottles directly from them, so we took a couple cases home to relive our time in Alba. Definitely check this place out if you like good wine and an inviting atmosphere!
