05/05/2026: I discovered this place while walking around the small village of Barolo. The welcome was warm and inviting so I reserved a table and came back 45 min later. Menu of typical regional dishes and a very impressive wine list of local and other wines - though I’m not sure one should drink anything other than Barolo or local grape varieties when sitting in the village of Barolo. I had a fantastic Risotto made with Barolo and had a Local dessert with a glass of Nebbiolo (the local grape) and the bill came to a very reasonable €30. Highly recommend. Local, authentic, welcoming.

17/05/2026: The interior is average, but the panoramic view from the windows is truly beautiful; this is probably the restaurant's strong point. The food is very good and high-quality, but the portions are RIDICULOUS, with exorbitant prices. They're portions worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, large plates, with very little inside—just look at the photos. The cover charge, water charge, and coffee charge are ridiculous; I can understand the price of wine, but hey... water is water, and so is coffee. The wait times are incredibly long; if you're looking to spend a Sunday afternoon, then it's fine: for three courses (appetizer, first course, dessert, and coffee), it took us three and a half hours—the kind of meal for a special occasion.
There's parking, but it fills up quickly on Sundays, so they either make you double-park or park on the dirt road leading to the restaurant.
€70 per person.
14/05/2026: Simply a perfect experience! La Locanda in Cannubi is a gem in the heart of the Barolo vineyards. The food is extraordinary: traditional Piedmontese dishes prepared with great care and using excellent ingredients. The wine list is incredible, featuring local wines and truly refined selections.
The welcome is warm from the first moment, and the staff is professional, attentive, and always smiling. The service is impeccable without ever being intrusive.
A magical place where quality, scenery, and hospitality blend perfectly. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: We wanted to tour the beautiful Langhe and found this place very charming. Modern and very clean. Excellent service, truly excellent quality of ingredients. A traditional dish with a trio of appetizers, ravioli del plin, sliced Fassona beef, and panna cotta with honey. We drank Barolo, all their own production. A truly positive experience! We promised ourselves we'd return for the winery tour and another wonderful lunch!
02/05/2026: Everything was perfect: the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. The food was excellent, the prices fair. The atmosphere was modern and designer, and there was an entire wine cellar (they are direct producers) to visit and taste. Another highlight is the location, just outside the town of Barolo, which allows for convenient parking. Well done.

02/06/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in the center of Barolo! We ate wonderfully; the dishes were exquisite and prepared with great care. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Special mention for the welcome aperitif: homemade bread and breadsticks, rolled by hand, accompanied by excellent creamed butter. A simple detail that won us over immediately.

For a couple, the staff split the dishes they chose—a first course and a second course—to make it easier for both to enjoy their meal.
The quality and price were more than fair, recommended.
01/06/2026: We went for lunch today and it was a truly positive experience. The service was good and the food was excellent, both in quality and quantity. We started with the Assaggio delle Langhe, followed by tajarin with ragù and ravioli with Seirass and spinach. Instead of dessert, we decided to finish with a delicious treat, asking if we could try their "Bra-type" sausage, and they didn't hesitate to accommodate our request. I have to say, it was absolutely worth it. It's delicious!!! Compliments again to the Chef. I highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: Great, simple pizza ala Napoli in the only pizzeria in Barolo! We had craved to eat pizza once while on this extended weekend in the Langhe and we were not disappointed! It hit the spot! Just book in advance for a table on Saturday evening!

08/01/2026: A very beautiful, harmonious restaurant with a spectacular view.
The dishes are carefully crafted and, above all, delicious. Compliments to the chef again! The menu is comprehensive, whether you're looking for traditional dishes or something seasonal.
The service is very pleasant. In addition to their prompt and professional attention to detail, you feel right at home, thanks to both the friendliness of the staff and the warmth they radiate.
It's great that the wine list also features small local wineries, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask maître d' Marco, who will be happy to share his insights with you about the various wines on offer.
I will definitely be back.
03/01/2026: Like every year, a visit to Bricco delle Viole is a must. The atmosphere is comfortable, the dishes are varied and sublime; the family-run restaurant is friendly and offers expert explanations of every dish and/or bottle, helping you understand its characteristics and flavors. Highly recommended, and we'll be back as soon as possible, as we have been doing for years. Thank you for everything.

02/05/2026: Personally, I found all the first courses excellent.
For dessert, we had zabaglione, and it was delicious.
Unfortunately, the second courses, which, being the most expensive dishes, should be the highlights, were a thousand times inferior to the first courses and desserts.
The braised beef should have been cooked longer.
While the fillet, despite being ordered rare, arrived medium rare, with not even a hint of pink in it, it was a bit dry.
I recommend the restaurant, but I strongly advise against the second courses given their cost and poor quality.

29/03/2026: In the heart of the village, with a spectacular view of the vineyards, this café offers excellent sandwiches, as well as toasted sandwiches, a wide selection of wines, both white and red, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

30/04/2025: Sono un motociclista e le Langhe era una meta che dovevo fare, ovviamente non potevo non approfittare anche di un giro cantina/pranzo e degustazione vini..alla tenuta Germano mi ha accolto una piacevole donna di nome Viviana, una donna solare e simpatica, mi sono sentito subito a mio agio , mi ha fatto visitare la parte esterna delle vigne e spiegato in maniera dettagliata come vengono gestite , curate e trattate...( Fatevi spiegare perché ci sono pochi insetti nelle vigne 😆 ) .
Il Giro per le cantine è da fare... si respira storia , si vede il passato che si intreccia col presente. Legno, acciaio, vetro, una mappa deve si vede il territorio perfettamente suddiviso per dare una giusta categoria e qualità all'uva...niente è lì per caso, tutto studiato nei minimi dettagli...bello!
La visita è durata 1 oretta circa, dopodiché ci siamo spostati nel suo locale " il bosco delle galline volanti " dove mi aspettava la degustazione , io ho scelto quella base da 60€
Gli assaggi buonissimi, ho chiesto le ricette quasi supplicando ma Viviana è un osso duro, ha tenuto il segreto
( mainagioia ) , vini deliziosi , come il locale stesso...grazie Viviana sei stata un oste top , ritornerò sicuramente 😊

21/12/2024: Ottima esperienza. Abbiamo fatto un percorso con degustazione di quattro tipi di Barolo abbinati da salumi e formaggi eccezionali. La passione, la competenza e la simpatia nei consigli e nelle spiegazioni di Elisabetta e Marcelo sono state preziose e coinvolgenti. Torneremo sicuramente.

Easy Cosi' Vineria

26/05/2025: Una experiencia gastronómica verdaderamente memorable. La pasta era excepcional, llena de sabor y perfectamente preparada. La selección de vinos maridaba maravillosamente con la comida y mostró bien la región. El ambiente era cálido y elegante, por lo que es fácil relajarse y disfrutar. El servicio excepcional hizo que la noche se sintiera especial de principio a fin.
