09/08/2026: A trattoria serving typical Piedmontese cuisine, we enjoyed excellent traditional dishes prepared with homemade methods. The mixed antipasto was delicious (local salami, spinach frittata, tomino cheese in salsa verde, and tuna and artichoke salad), the agnolotti pasta with a meat sauce, the excellent Nebbiolo braised beef, and the very tender rabbit roll. The dessert of peach cups with chocolate cream and amaretti biscuits was delicious. The prices are very fair, and this trattoria is definitely worth a try: we'll be back!

17/07/2026: Simple, family-style cuisine. Friendly staff, with a special mention for Martina: empathetic, outgoing, and extremely efficient. Tables outside, under the portico, offer shade and a breeze, making them very pleasant during this hot season.

05/06/2026: Every time we're in Piedmont, this trattoria is a must-visit, even if it means taking a detour. It couldn't be more authentic: unassuming from the outside and practically exclusively frequented by locals. The food is delicious, served by Nonna herself, simply laid out, and the house wine is excellent. Very authentic, warm, it couldn't be much better – a 5+ for us. Many thanks also for the jam.

05/08/2026: A beautiful refuge in a lovely panoramic location, located near the access to the Via del Sale from Limone Piemonte. What can I say except that a sandwich was charged as much as a platter??? At first, having ordered other things like drinks and desserts, I didn't think much of it even though the bill seemed high, but rechecking the receipt later, I realized the flaw. I'm hoping it was a mistake by the employee, who didn't seem to be a local. The quality of the products was good. Prices were comparable to those of a refuge.

14/08/2026: From the moment we booked, they were wonderful people, welcoming our dog to their quiet outdoor area. Dinner began with a sampling of focaccia, breadsticks, and their homemade butter (exceptional). We dined on an appetizer (hand-cut Fassona tartare, Cuneo burrata cream), a first course (tajarin ai 30 fuori with Bra sausage ragù), and a second course (braised veal cheek, carrot and celeriac chiffonade), accompanied by two glasses of Barolo from different wineries and vintages. Roberto was hospitable and kind, making us feel at home and pampered. The outdoor area is located in a quiet corner of Barolo, where you can enjoy all the beauty of the Langhe. We couldn't have felt better. Thank you.

04/07/2026: As soon as I discovered it, via advertising signs, I wanted to try it because I love meatballs "in every way." We went as a couple one evening; the place is cute, informal, welcoming, and not very large. The service is equally welcoming and attentive. We tried a tasting of 8 mixed meatballs with Parmesan sauce and French fries. Initially, I found the combination a bit dry—that is, the combination of meatballs, cheese sauce, and potatoes was a bit too bland—but the meatballs were really good, and most importantly, they were tender. The menu, however, offers dishes with a variety of toppings, so you just have to try the rest. The tiramisu, shaped like a meatball and filled with chocolate wafer, was delicious. Four stars because it has potential, the meatballs are good, the welcome is good, and as I said, you have to try the rest. So, it's worth another visit, and who knows, maybe more will follow. Definitely recommended.

18/06/2026: "A wonderful stay at Agriturismo Schiavenza, right in the heart of Serralunga d'Alba and the Barolo wine region. The carne cruda was a standout — perfectly fresh, dressed simply with good olive oil and salt, letting the quality of the meat speak for itself. The dessert was excellent too, and the wine selection did the region justice. Add in the gorgeous vineyard views and a relaxed, authentic agriturismo atmosphere, and it's an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the Langhe.

08/06/2026: A little pricey, especially if you get carried away filling the bag with pralines, but the products are definitely top-quality, and the ice cream is good too.

02/06/2026: We stop for a break during a trip, we order a chocolate crepe and they tell us they don't have the dough ready, then a tiramisu gelato shake and they reply that they don't have tiramisu, so we divert to a cone at Brucco e Buono and they tell us that since the ice cream has just been replaced they can't put it in the cone and they give us a cup... ice cream which is also poor quality, never again!
