07/12/2025: The veal with tuna sauce was so-so, tasted like anchovies but not tuna, and was too dry. The agnolotti al plin were excellent, the tagliata was below expectations, and the dessert was good. All in all, a bit pricey!
05/11/2025: Stumbled upon this resto-bar for lunch and had the most delicious, home-cooked food. The staff was kind and helpful and made it an excellent dining experience.

06/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Trattoria Del Bollito in Alba.
For starters, an excellent vitello tonnato accompanied by a fine selection of cured meats and cheeses—everything was of exceptional quality.
The pasta with black truffle was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor.
All of this was accompanied by a superb 2021 Barbaresco Pio Cesare. Authentic cuisine, impeccable ingredients, and truly excellent value for money in Alba. An address I wholeheartedly recommend.

- Good evening, there are two of us.
- Sorry, we're CLOSING the kitchen.
At 8:30 PM, with the outdoor area completely empty, we can't eat because they're closing...
Next time, we'll come at 4 for a snack.
*First of all, "kitchen closed" is what you said to us, and there's a big difference between a kitchen closed and a fully booked restaurant.
Secondly, even if it had been 95 degrees, she should have asked me if I wanted to eat outside or not (in the end, I ate outside and it was great because it wasn't 95 degrees at all).
Thirdly, I didn't give her any names, so she could have left out the clown emoji. Regards.

Personally, I loved everything about it: the place, the staff, and the meal itself.

04/01/2026: We had a grilled meat dinner, fries, and beer. Everything was very good, the service was fast, and the waitresses were friendly. The place was very busy. We went early and had no problem getting a seat, but after 8:00 PM there was a wait. Recommended.
26/12/2025: The waitress who served us forgot to write down half of the order, so some of us ate right away and the others ate half an hour later, after asking what had happened to our burgers... The strange thing was that she had provided cutlery and a placemat for everyone, so I assume she understood but didn't write down the order correctly on the pad. I was also disappointed with the burger because, in my opinion, the meat was overcooked and tasted burnt, and the black lines left by the cooking grill made the meat bitter. I understand that on busy nights it's not easy to keep up with everything, but on a quiet evening with few orders, you can do better, from the service to the food!!!!!

04/01/2026: My husband and I visited La Piola Duomo recently and were unfortunately disappointed. Most of our dishes arrived cold. When we ordered the vanilla tart, we specifically asked if it was served warm; the waiter confirmed it was, yet it arrived ice cold. When we asked to have it heated, the waiter told us they simply 'couldn't do it.' To make matters worse, the host spent the entire evening drinking with other guests, which felt quite unprofessional for a restaurant of this caliber. While they did apologize and removed the cake from our bill at the end, the overall experience was a letdown.
29/12/2025: A must visit spot in Alba. Centrally located in the town. Has an extensive wine list.

Friendly service staff, but unfortunately very loud and crowded.
They tend to serve food quickly; we had to slow down the service a bit because they were reassigning tables multiple times.

18/02/2026: My dad had been wanting to come for a while, we finally made him happy, and the 200km drive was worth it! Excellent tartare, ravioli with ragu, and especially the boiled meat with sauces :) It's good for a whole year.

07/10/2025: Very good food. Many of them are homemade. The cured meats and cheeses are delicious. Even the refrigerated section has their own products worth trying. A must-stop if you want to try something special.

I went on a Tuesday night and the place was packed, which shows it's a popular spot. The prices are average, and the quality is excellent. I'll definitely be back to try the food this time. For now, congratulations!

The menu isn't very extensive, and seeing many positive reviews about the pizza, I expected much more. You can find better pizzas elsewhere.

06/03/2026: A gem of an osteria in the town of La Morra. The service could be friendlier. The food was excellent. We had three appetizers. The carne cruda was particularly delicious, and it turned out to be hand-cut. Lots of bite. An excellent Vitello, beautifully pink inside, fried artichoke with cream of Parmesan, and to finish, tuna with a pea sauce. The atmosphere was wonderful and friendly in the osteria, which was packed.
02/03/2026: Excellent staff, very kind and friendly. The place is very simple but pleasant and comfortable. The menu is quite varied, the food very good and at great prices.

20/06/2025: Tonight we came to eat the mixed fried fish. I must say that we liked it a lot, you couldn't taste the fried oil, each type of fish had its own flavor and with the vegetables combined they had a better taste than you can imagine. I would suggest trying it to believe it.
05/06/2025: Excellent quality and service, the staff is prepared and available for every need of the customers. A place where you can eat a pizza truly similar to the "southern" tradition. If you are a true pizza lover, it is worth trying 🍕
