02/10/2025: The owners are very friendly and ready to answer any questions. The rooms aren't that great but you can still sleep well.

06/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for six nights. There are several points to mention in this review. First, the beds are appalling. In a double room, we found a metal bedstead with a wooden plank over it. The slightest movement made an insane noise, making it difficult to sleep at night. Furthermore, having installed two single mattresses, they shifted during the night, often resulting in a person being sandwiched between them. The hotel website states that "all" rooms have a balcony/terrace, but this is not the case. The hotel does not have an elevator, so elderly people or those with mobility issues had great difficulty climbing the stairs to their rooms. There's little choice for breakfast, as it's not a buffet. Otherwise, you'd find an empty croissant per person (I think they made it themselves), a small piece of cake or tart they made (I think), and some toast with packaged jams of your choice. Then you can choose a drink from the bar (coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, etc.). There's no choice for a savory or healthier breakfast. The portions at lunch and dinner are very generous, with many good dishes, but for those staying at the hotel for several days, things get boring because the dishes are always the same (green tagliolini with mushrooms, braised meat that was offered every day for both lunch and dinner, cooked vegetables always peas with carrots, green beans, and sometimes potatoes, and so on, but always the same dishes). If you asked for a simple salad because you no longer wanted the same dishes, it wasn't available. Basically, there was no option to have any fresh vegetables (side dishes) or to order fruit (there wasn't even watermelon, no fruit at all). Being a property that claims to be pet-friendly, I would have expected at least a small dog area (fenced off) where you could maybe stay when you're not out and about with your dog (there is enough space in front of the hotel to offer such an area). Some finishing touches are definitely missing (hair dryer, hangers in the bathroom, a shower gel holder inside the shower stall). Some rooms don't even have a closet and have a simple A metal structure covered with a DIY-style plastic sheet. They don't even have a small table or desk to place small appliances. The hotel offers a beautiful view, and there are lovely trails nearby for walking through the woods. Given our experience with the rooms, I honestly don't know if we'd return, as we didn't sleep well due to the uncomfortable bed. It's a shame, because they could offer an excellent choice given their convenient location.

18/07/2025: Cena di estate a Piozzo in famiglia ottima pizza, frittura di pesce e soprattutto un plauso per i dolci. Unico inconveniente non sapevano che per mangiare le paella bisognasse prenotare

13/07/2025: Il locale è molto carino C’ero già stata con amici e mi ero trovata bene Ieri sono andata con mia sorella e a partire dall antipasto fino al dolce passando per la frittura di pesce era tutto ottimo Servizio molto gentili e disponibili i tempi sono decisamente buoni ne troppo veloci ne troppo lenti ti danno il giusto tempo per assaporare il tutto Consiglio veramente di passare a farci una cena !!

21/09/2025: I can't speak for the rooms, as I only stopped for a snack, but if that's what I'm talking about, they're certainly worthy of note! A small inn located in Ponte Maira, in a pleasant Alpine area of ​​the Maira Valley, clean and cozy. Run by young people, I stopped for a coffee and then a snack: the tarts were truly exquisite! Homemade, delicious! Well done!

16/10/2025: We went to Pavoncella with friends to satisfy our craving for good meat, and that's exactly what we were looking for. Good meat, top-notch hospitality, and the unlimited wine from their wine cellar was exceptional. I'll definitely be back.

16/10/2025: A very unique place, not suitable for teetotalers😄😄😄 or vegans! I'm kidding, but the wine pouring from the ceiling through "cantabrune" is a must-see... excellent meat, some side dishes, and a lot of chaos... fun, surrounded by greenery and with excellent ideas for alternative weekends...

14/09/2025: What a surprise to find this pastry shop here! Walk past the long counter with ice cream and delicious mini tarts to the back, where you'll find the coffee shop (not visible from the outside) or the terrace where you can enjoy these delicacies. They also have savory snacks, all at reasonable prices, with friendly staff who even speak English. Everything is homemade in the beautiful kitchen at the very back.

15/09/2025: Good food, excellent service, typical mountain atmosphere. You can get there after a bit of a dirt road by car (a fairly high-rider car is recommended) or a half-hour walk. It's a bit tiring with a stroller. A backpack is recommended for those with children. We ate polenta and wild boar, shared a platter, and dessert. We paid Roman fare, about €27 per person. Generous portions. Reservations recommended.

05/10/2025: Located in the pedestrian area, it's easy to reach on foot. There's not much parking in town, but it's a pleasant walk. I had lunch on the lovely outdoor terrace. The service was friendly, sometimes imprecise, but nothing serious. The food was good, the prices were average, the portions could be better, but overall, everything was good. 24/08/2025: Rustic and informal atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. Very interesting and varied meat menu, with the option to sample different types at a good price. Good wine list, Francesca was very helpful in recommending our bottle. The only downside, given the high quality of the meat, is the baked potato chips, which are actually the frozen ones from a bag. Otherwise, highly recommended!

21/09/2025: We wanted to find a real agriturismo, where we could spend a few days in peace and enjoy good food, and at Zi' Michele we found it. Spacious rooms, divine cuisine, incredibly kind owners, excellent prices, and easy to get to. I highly recommend it.

14/09/2025: This trattoria was a wonderful discovery! Although it's a bit of a hassle to get there, it's worth all the effort. The place is simple, well-kept, and very clean. The owner is extremely kind, friendly, and attentive. And the food... very, very good! A bit of Roman tradition in the Cuneo area is a pleasant surprise, a change from our usual routine. Classic Roman recipes, perfectly cooked with top-quality ingredients and... perfectly digestible, despite the abundance. Congratulations! Keep up the good work, we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!
