...I was certain that heaven existed, but I didn't know what it could be like...I discovered it here today at lunch... Well done...

"A wonderful stay at Agriturismo Schiavenza, right in the heart of Serralunga d'Alba and the Barolo wine region. The carne cruda was a standout — perfectly fresh, dressed simply with good olive oil and salt, letting the quality of the meat speak for itself. The dessert was excellent too, and the wine selection did the region justice. Add in the gorgeous vineyard views and a relaxed, authentic agriturismo atmosphere, and it's an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the Langhe.

Excellent location overlooking the vineyard. The dishes are limited, but refined and typically Piedmontese. The waiters are very kind and polite. We chose a Barbera wine from their cellars and were very satisfied. I recommend it.

Everything was good from the starter to the dessert, the wines were excellent and the view was wonderful.

Agriturismo in the heart of the Langhe. The welcome was warm: the staff was very friendly and immediately found us a seat inside. Unfortunately, our expectations for the food were disappointed. The portions were small and not up to par with the price. Mixed antipasto €16: I expected something more substantial. The pasta stuffed with butter and sage was plain, but flavorless. Tajarin looked inviting, but nothing special. €14 for a first course that wasn't worth the price. Total bill was about €74: coffee €1.50 per person, cover charge €2 per person. Wines: a glass of Barolo €12, we chose a bottle of Barbera €18. Prices are on the high side, but justified by the area. Conclusion: if you're hungry, this isn't the place for you. You pay a lot for little.

We stayed at this agriturismo on Easter Monday. The food was authentic, the service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. We'll definitely return.
