Lunch for two, booked. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Service was quick. We had to park in the squares at the bottom of Barge because everything nearby has a maximum parking limit of 1 hour, but the walk was pleasant. Excellent classic dishes, reasonable prices. We'll be back! 💗

In the center of Barge, a trattoria, a "piola" of yesteryear, that you're slowly finding no more. Excellent, home-cooked food. Set menu: 4 appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a side dish. Dessert, water, wine, and coffee. Spent 55 for two with two extras. Starters: Excellent, light Russian salad that didn't taste like mayonnaise. Quality chopped raw beef. Good chicken salad. Good Tomino/robiola cheese: 1 agnolotti with ragù and 1 tagliatelle with walnut sauce. Braised beef with baked potatoes and paper. Dessert: 1 bonet and 1 caramelized cream. I wasn't crazy about the wine on tap. Recommended place.

Fantastic trattoria. There are only 2-3 dishes to choose from for both the first and second courses, but everything is good and delicious. Very friendly service and very fair prices. Highly recommended!

We've been wanting to go to Nuova Società for a long time....finally! Simple food, unique in its home-cooked goodness...a typical dish that's sometimes forgotten...thank goodness not here! We would have tried everything on the menu, but alas, who'll ever go back to work? Compliments to the Chef! The girls are very kind and well-organized in managing the dining room. Congratulations, we'll be back soon.

This trattoria in Barge is my favorite place when I'm in the area. It offers a limited selection (3-4 appetizers, 2-3 first courses, 2-3 second courses), but everything is fresh and delicious. I hate long menus. The three waitresses are smiling and friendly, and the chef has a friendly face and is truly skilled. The price is very competitive: appetizer, second course with side dish, half a glass of water, a quarter of red wine, dessert, and coffee, all 12 euros. Need I say more? If you're passing through Barge (CN), you absolutely must eat at Nuova Società.

22/07/2026: Food was great and our dietary restrictions were well accommodated. The room was relatively expensive (the most expensive on our trip) and, though it was quite nice, it also faced the parking lot, and we woke up early due to the noise. The cowbells are unavoidable but the talking right outside our window and the passing of larger vehicles (vans and tractors) was difficult :( The older man who helped us check in (and also helped with the tasty breakfast) did not speak much English so it was useful to have some Italian. He was very kind! Note: 800m between dinner and the rooms. Breakfast is served by the rooms. If you are hiking in/out, the rooms are convenient, as the rooms are higher up the road!
28/06/2026: Amazing place, very nice rooms, great breakfast, high care of owner. Very good diner. Italy Piemonte on its best!

16/08/2025: The restaurant is neat and clean. Meticulously maintained, with a casual atmosphere. We had to leave after the second course due to an emergency, but the owners were extremely accommodating, accommodating us and offering us the option to return the next day. The traditional menu is also highly recommended for the wine pairing.
12/08/2025: Magnificent atmosphere, everything well-curated, perfect for a break from Turin's hustle and bustle. Delicious dishes, especially the raw beef tartare. The waiter was friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable in explaining the various dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.
