14/06/2025: After about 20 years since my last visit to the restaurant, now Agriturismo Mongioie, I can say that I have had another very pleasant experience. A place kept with care, preserving the appearance and details of the past and revisited today by the new young management. Traditional and appetizing cuisine, just the right quantities, flavors that we will remember. Excellent snails, lavender strudel much appreciated. A hearty meal at competitive prices. Excellent dining room service. If possible we will return. A group of friends Nurses and Oss of the Emergency Room of Sanremo.

10/06/2025: Every time we return to Viozene, the evening stop is at this excellent Agriturismo!! The food is truly excellent, genuine and abundant, and the fixed menu is always varied and tasty. Here you are sure to end a serene day in this wonderful location in style. Compliments to the managers!!

22/05/2025: Excellent renovation of an old country house. The location as a whole is taken care of in the smallest details both with regards to the various rooms and the surrounding garden. Excellent beer service with a wide choice of flavors and colors. Excellent dishes and choice too.

20/05/2025: A huge thank you to all the Baladin Open Garden staff for the wonderful hospitality during our Dealer Run on May 18th! Thanks to Daniela who followed us in organizing our event. We arrived with 150 motorcycles, almost 200 people and you welcomed us in the best possible way, reserving a dedicated parking area and an impeccable welcome. The rich and tasty aperitif won over all our customers, who expressed great satisfaction with the quality of the food, the location and - of course - your exceptional beer! 13/05/2025: A place that tells the tastes and flavors of the Langhe, an exceptional view of the valley below, all of which transmits a calm and serenity that coincides with the delights of the palate. Eating here is a taste experience, fresh dishes prepared at the moment with care and love for food, there is no dish to recommend and everything to taste. The wine, whether white or red, does not disappoint expectations, it caresses your palate as if it were velvet or silk. Go and you will be fascinated.

20/04/2025: I was for dinner on 18 April 25. The environment is nice, nice, clean, excellent service, everyone is very kind. The food is excellent, with fresh and quality raw materials. The menu is very varied, there are traditional Piedmontese dishes, Mediterranean and fish dishes. I'm very sorry to give only 3 stars, but the portions are very small for the price paid. Highly recommended!!

25/05/2025: 05/25/25 Great experience at Io e Luna, we had the opportunity to have breakfast with Davide's leavened products and we promised ourselves to return to taste his cuisine, everything was perfect the location the service and the excellent cuisine, the ending with a very welcome surprise for my birthday we will return soon. 28/04/2025: The dishes was good but not outstanding. But one was more than good - great lamb. About atmosphere - in my opinion unnecessarily a little bit too stiff. Interior very nice.

01/05/2025: Thank you Marta for the hospitality you give to the guests who stop in your refuge. I say "yours" because you are the true soul of those walls in that corner of paradise in the Maira Valley. Newly renovated building with spacious dormitories and comfortable bathrooms (a little less showers). Common room with fireplace and adjoining bar area. Spectacular place in the village of Ussuolo where it seems that time has stopped. Marta's cuisine made with the heart. The door is always open even just for a coffee with some resident. From Ussuolo's "first aid for the mind" cassette I borrowed a book of short stories by Pirandello. It's a good reason to come back to visit you from Venice and make it available to someone who needs it. Prints with faded colors emerge from your Polaroid but with portraits that express a moment of happiness experienced together. See you soon Marta and thanks again...

28/04/2025: The “La Carlina” refuge, located in the beautiful and quiet village of Ussolo, is an excellent choice for visiting the Maira valley or simply relaxing for a few days. The building is totally renovated and the environment is clean and welcoming. The cuisine is tasty but at the same time simple and light, making it very suitable for those who want to go on excursions. A big thank you to Marta for the passion with which she manages the structure and the care and attention with which she welcomes guests.

28/12/2024: Tuvimos el almuerzo ligero en Villa Tiboldi antes de nuestra cata de vinos en Malvira. Para empezar, compartimos pimientos asados con salsa de tonnato y verduras a la parrilla con mozzarella de búfalo fresca. Para la alimentación principal compartimos una sartén - pizza Margarita cocida (corteza muy gruesa — como focaccia) y tajarin (fideos de huevo piamonteses, muy estrechos como espaguetis planos) con ragu. De postre, John comió panna cotta con miel y yo tiramisú. También disfrutamos de un par de vinos diferentes por copa de la bodega. ¡Excelente!

02/11/2024: Villa Tiboldi non è solo un posto bellissimo, ma offre anche una cucina davvero all'altezza delle (alte) aspettative. Il servizio gentile e cordiale, dona quel tocco in più che trasforma un ristorante da ricordare, in un ristorante nel quale voler ritornare. Davvero consigliato!

27/04/2025: I stayed in this splendid inn and tavern, with my dogs. Two regenerating days in absolute relaxation, away from the frenzy, in this wonderful village. There are many walks to do and they are all marked and indicated. Umberto, the manager is a very attentive, friendly and professional person. You feel at home. His cuisine is worth trying! A place I highly recommend.
