02/05/2026: I'll start by saying we weren't able to go due to our baby's illness...obviously last minute! They were kind enough to let us know over the May 1st long weekend that they wouldn't charge us anything! That's not a given these days. We'll be rescheduling our trip soon thanks to the infinite kindness of the staff and owners! See you soon.
30/04/2026: Excellent location overlooking the entire valley from Monforte almost to Alba. Excellent facility, always present, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant with good wine pairings at more than reasonable prices. The blind wine tastings are wonderful.

Takeaway is also an option. All dishes on the menu are available for takeaway.

22/07/2026: Food was great and our dietary restrictions were well accommodated. The room was relatively expensive (the most expensive on our trip) and, though it was quite nice, it also faced the parking lot, and we woke up early due to the noise. The cowbells are unavoidable but the talking right outside our window and the passing of larger vehicles (vans and tractors) was difficult :(
The older man who helped us check in (and also helped with the tasty breakfast) did not speak much English so it was useful to have some Italian. He was very kind!
Note: 800m between dinner and the rooms. Breakfast is served by the rooms. If you are hiking in/out, the rooms are convenient, as the rooms are higher up the road!

15/04/2026: I tried Caffetteria Pasticceria Galfré and had a great time. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, perfect for both a quick breakfast and a more relaxed break. The ingredients are fresh, and the quality is evident, especially in the pastries and croissants. The staff is friendly and quick with their service, which always makes a difference. The variety is also good, with plenty to choose from. A reliable place we'll gladly return to.

05/04/2026: The best restaurant in the area. Friendly staff, beautiful building, delicious food and easy parking. As a primi, we ordered the beetroot and goats cheese risotto which was sublime. The meat cart was really good but I saw some great secondi dishes going to the other tables, so I think I will try that next time. Both of our dessert were outstanding. I highly recommend this classy restaurant.
