06/09/2025: Surrounded by greenery, this property offers a lovely campsite and a decent restaurant. The appetizers were decent (three courses; the baby octopus in sauce was excellent, the saute was bland, and the seafood salad was awful). The tagliata was cooked just as I expected, and the baked potatoes were salty on the outside but bland on the inside. Unfortunately, the price was excessive, considering the discount included.

14/06/2025: Saturday 14th at 1:30 pm. Counter practically empty and pizza chef who also allows himself to address you in a sour manner thinking he is being funny. I am a Customer Care manager and I would not have let something like that pass. Too bad because the pizza is good, but certain things society should not tolerate.

24/10/2025: Three of us made a reservation for dinner with The Fork, and with the reservation accepted, we showed up on time. Unfortunately, they didn't let us in, not even with the excuse that there was a private party inside, and they canceled the reservation at the same time. I don't know what the restaurant is like, but it's definitely not a serious establishment!

23/10/2025: Don't go there if you don't want to get ripped off. We booked with The Fork and the dishes are incredibly expensive! They have a separate menu for those who book with The Fork and the prices are obviously inflated, terrible quality/food ratio. I drank a glass of wine that smelled and tasted of vinegar and the fish was hard and frozen. No way! Waste of money. I really don't understand how you can treat people like this.

07/10/2025: This super, wonderful place has the best cappuccino in Rome. While you enjoy it, you see beautiful people and a lot of love and empathy from the people who work here. Marcella is the queen of good humor and the ability to stay ahead of thousands of requests for cappuccinos, coffees, croissants, etc. The guy, I think, is South American and is brilliant; his cappuccinos make you dream of distant islands. Thank you so much to everyone who works here, making every customer's day more beautiful! You are unique! Thank you! Thank you!

12/10/2025: Excellent bar for breakfast, amazing soy cappuccino, even the pastries are very good and well filled, the only thing is the nervousness of the staff, from the cashier to the girl at the tables, they should be more calm with the customers

10/10/2025: Adorable little café in a sunny square. Friendly and efficient service. I was a little surprised by previous reviews about prohibitive prices, as I paid just enough for three cappuccinos and a croissant 🥐 Finally, the restrooms were super clean.

30/10/2025: My children have been attending SIS swimming school for three years, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for them. The instructors are highly qualified, and the staff is always kind and attentive. The swimming school organizes competitions twice a year, and it's always a well-attended event, eagerly awaited by the children. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: A lovely place in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, which is beautiful. The gelato is good, but the coffee and desserts are a bit less so. Service at the counter and at the table is generally friendly but not exceptional. Prices are reasonable for the location and... the neighborhood.

19/10/2025: A must-stop before visiting the Vatican for a quick breakfast. Counter service: you pay first, then collect your tray. The coffee is very good, the pistachio croissant a little disappointing, but the sunny terrace is perfect. Special mention to the lady at the counter, adorable, unlike the cashier who was not at all friendly.

19/10/2025: A guy who works at MC Drive recently served us and was very rude, he didn't even give us a thank you or a goodbye, he was very lazy in doing things and he complains in front of customers even with swear words, I can understand that everyone has their problems but it doesn't seem right to me that this kind of behavior occurs in the workplace

18/06/2025: Abbiamo semplicemente espresso su the fork la nostra esperienza su questo ristorante. Evidentemente essere sintetici non basta vista la risposta del proprietario che merita adeguata replica. Per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo nulla a che dire, ma soffermiamoci su ciò che riteniamo migliorabile. Prenotato alle 20.30 e presentateci alle 20.40 circa con il locale all'interno semi vuoto e comunque con una prenotazione in corso di 1 ora di validità, un cameriere prima di indicarci il tavolo ci chiede da subito se volevamo dell'acqua. Ci avevano messo in un tavolo posto al buio tale da richiedere una migliore visione. Il cameriere ha così provveduto ad avvitare una lampadina posizionata su un lampadario al centro della sala, per quel che riguarda le pietanze, la carne era praticamente tiepida e il contorno di patate fredde. Dopo circa un 'ora che abbiamo atteso amici che finissero l'antipasto ci è stato detto che le nostre pietanze erano in cottura e udite sono arrivate dopo circa altri 45/50 minuti. Lo stesso cameriere informato del nostro disappunto notiziava il cuoco probabilmente proprietario il quale rammaricato chiedeva scuso per l'attesa e giustificava il fatto che la carne era fredda a causa della cottura al sangue. Ma le patate al sangue anche loro?? Tuttavia pur comprendendo tutto cio' vorrei dire è troppo facile fare leoni da tastiera quando invece mi preoccuperei di ovviare in modo garbato senza fare commenti del tutto gratuiti considerando che il tutto è avvenuto alla presenza di testimoni. Spero nell'utilità di questa recensione sia per lo staff del ristorante che per i clienti futuri.

15/07/2025: Update 12-7-2025 As mentioned, we went there for dinner. In a word, fantastic. We had mentioned in advance that we would be having steaks, and they were delivered medium-rare from the grill. Delicious. As antipasto, they prepared two delicious cheese/meat platters with wonderful mozzarella. For dessert, they served sweet pastries, and we also received limocello and fresh melon on the house. Highly recommended again. Lunch 12-7-2025 Eleven of us stopped by for lunch. We found it via Google Maps. What a gem. The indoor seating area is as you would expect from authentic Italian food. A mix of everything. Football shirts combined with hanging canned plants and, of course, checkered tablecloths. There's also air conditioning. We ordered various pastas and pizzas. None disappointed. "The best pasta ever," they proclaimed. The waiter, who spoke some English and was also the chef, served everything with great charm. We have reservations for tonight...

30/09/2025: Selva dei Risi in Castel Madama offers solid and authentic agritourism cuisine. Excellent local ingredients and traditional Roman and Lazio dishes are carefully prepared. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. A great choice for those seeking quality and authenticity away from the city.

04/11/2025: The lasagna was served lukewarm and below expectations, as were the pizzas and vegetables. The atmosphere was neglected. The staff was friendly, but that wasn't enough.

26/09/2025: I stopped by one evening by chance and based on the reviews, and ordered takeout. I went back the next day without hesitation. The pinsas are delicious, and you can taste the quality inside. The fried foods scream "try me!" right from the menu. If you're craving a proper pinsa, this is a great place to find it. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean environment. Trying is believing.
