18/11/2025: A very characteristic place located in the alleys of Cavana. Stunning decor, warm and inviting, with a mezzanine dining room. Excellent food, from the exquisite fish soup to the Gran Fritto misto. The Friulian wine (house wine) was delicious. Everything was excellent, absolutely recommended.
I found the controversial Pelinkovac with the blue label at Frontiera!

04/12/2025: All the dishes were exquisite. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was warm and informal.
25/11/2025: The food was so-so. We ordered fried food, but it lacked flavor, and the calamari tasted like rubber (hard).
The service was quick and courteous, but very sad.
The space was very overused. Access to the restroom via a curtain in the dining room was questionable.
What can I say... modest.
There are much better options, even for €35 per person.

07/12/2025: Five stars but if I could have more. I'm banned from negative reviews. No ghemo ciolto piza but.. rest of the magnativa: fainting. Tuto. Good wine. Prices normal. Waiters no cocoli... more. I stumbled upon it by chance at the end of the walk...from Tornarghe.
11/10/2025: The pizza is delicious, the prices are fair, but the smell of fried food lingers on you.

05/10/2025: Banquet service for a wedding on September 28, 2025, with 85 guests, at Villa Bonomo in Trieste.
PURO's service was impeccable: aperitif and welcome in the villa's garden, followed by full table service inside, and finally the cake and open bar with a savory buffet.
The staff were kind and professional, both in their manner and attire, and the quality of the food was recognized by the guests.
I would also like to highlight the interaction with the owner, MAX, who was always available to address our needs, despite some of our concerns. All of this gave us complete peace of mind, gradually building high expectations, which were completely fulfilled.

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this gorgeous restaurant and we were not disappointed. The staff were the best! Alessandro, Carmine, Michele and the whole team made us feel so welcome. In fact, we went back for dinner 3 times! Loved Michele's award winning food, loved the service from the whole team. We loved the selection of wine. We will be back!

11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

05/11/2025: Ošterija Ferluga offers very tasty food, which is both beautifully served and a real feast for the eyes. The dishes are prepared with an emphasis on quality ingredients and flavors that complement each other nicely. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed.
For starters, I had a mix of seafood specialties, and for the main course, mixed fish and meat and the typical "kipfle". The Malvasia was not exactly a pearl among wines, but it was nicely chilled and rinsed my throat nicely.
The only thing that could be improved is the toilet - it is still in a "slum", which somewhat spoils the otherwise excellent impression of the visit. Nevertheless, I recommend a visit, because the food really stands out in quality and presentation.
27/10/2025: Generous portions, a good selection, and prompt and attentive service. The specialty is fish, but there are also meat options, with fewer choices. The interior is small but welcoming, while the outside offers much more space and a magnificent view—one of the best in the city.

14/10/2025: We had an amazing lunch here one Saturday afternoon quality was top notch, the service was professional and attentive, and the setting was just lovely. The seafood lasagna was a real stand out, although all the dishes were absolutely delicious.
