14/06/2025: Siamo arrivati ed il primo impatto non è stato il massimo : abbiamo notato un po’ di confusione nel servizio ed abbiamo atteso un po’ prima di essere presi in considerazione per le ordinazioni …poi quando sono arrivati i piatti….una meraviglia . Bruschette così buone mai mangiate. Caponata sublime . Antipasti caldi e freddi eccezionali . Iper consigliato .

01/06/2025: The portion is generous, you can easily fill up, and it's delicious. Delicious vegetarian options. A vegan option is available if you skip the cheese for the macaroni with eggplant, tomato, and basil. (I recommend this dish.) I personally don't recommend the beer; although it's a matter of taste, I didn't like it. They treated us well and adapted to our circumstances without any problems. You must definitely try the Sicilian caponatina! Outside, it's lovely with the shade and breeze in the summer. (Cover is €3 per person.)

28/07/2025: The owner was a bit grumpy, but perhaps it was a bit late. The dishes were excellent, especially the fried anchovies. The Slovenian beer was unusual, but highly recommended. The majority of the customers were clearly from Trieste. A good sign.

08/07/2025: We had dinner (a couple), ordering a starter and dessert. The food was neither good nor bad, mind you... but the lady taking the orders makes you want to get up and leave. If you don't want to welcome guests with a minimum of courtesy and you're a restaurateur, I think it's time to think again! I don't think I'll be back...

05/07/2025: Fuimos al restaurante La Napa mientras estábamos en Triest, Italia. Comimos pizzas individuales para el almuerzo y estaban deliciosas y a un precio muy razonable (6 . 50 euros y 7 . 90 euros) El almuerzo estaba tan bueno que volvimos a cenar. Yo comí berenjenas a la parmesana y mi marido lasaña. La berenjena costó sólo 9 euros y la lasaña 8 euros. También compartimos una ensalada que era tan grande que no pudimos terminarla. La comida era excelente y si alguna vez volvemos a Trieste nos aseguraremos de volver a La Napa. No te pierdas el de Via Caccia 3 porque hay otro La Napa XXX diferente.

02/07/2025: Good pizza, excellent cooking in a wood-fired oven in view in the dining room, top-quality ingredients. Possibility of gluten-free pizza dough on request. A menu with a decent selection but not too vast, not only pizzas but also second courses. Fast and punctual service, helpful and efficient staff. The sorbets made on the spot at the counter (coffee, lemon, bayless and after eight flavours) are really good and delicious, absolutely fresh and creamy, recommended given the hot summer period. Pizza + water + sorbet + cover charge = €20 I recommend it: "Io si"

28/06/2025: Excellent bakery. Everything is delicious from bread to pastries. Competent and very kind staff even if overwhelmed by work. A must if you pass by those parts.

05/07/2025: Right on the harbor, prices are totally reasonable, staff are friendly and attentive, and the pizza and pasta taste very good.

12/06/2025: Walking through the alleys of Muggia we came across this beautiful little place: we had some wine, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses that was a sight to behold and a chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and looked after in detail, the platter was one of the most beautiful and good I have ever eaten! The staff is so friendly and kind that it makes you feel at home, the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back!

08/06/2025: Not sure what was the best, the food, the service or the staff. My wife is a vegetarian and we got a custom made vegetarian aperitivo plate that was simply amazing. I'd recommend the focaccia bread with truffle paired with the muggia local wine.

29/07/2025: Social trattoria or chic eatery? We've known this place for decades and it's always very welcoming. The staff is friendly, and the menu is typical of these areas. The food was decent, but it's a shame we couldn't try the gazpacho, which wasn't yet available. Overall, a pleasant evening, until the shocking bill, which definitely doesn't fit the "social trattoria" concept. At this point, it's unclear what the restaurant's intended purpose is.

28/07/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere casual yet cool on warm summer evenings, and the food was delicious, from appetizers to first courses and main courses. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. We didn't try the desserts because we were full. Recommended.

28/06/2025: Franchise brand, which has several pizzerias including Trieste and Udine. The pizzeria is in a convenient location, about 600 meters from Piazza Unità d'Italia and in a lively area full of small restaurants. We arrived at 10 pm without a reservation, the restaurant was full, but they immediately seated us by offering us their classic welcome prosecco. The list of vegan pizzas has expanded considerably since the last time I went to Assaje (in Udine) and the choice is truly inviting. Furthermore, each pizza can be requested gluten-free. Good GF dough, but super toppings. I chose a gluten-free and vegan pizza with 3 tomatoes: the vegan mozzarella was truly out of this world, delicious! At the end of the dinner they offer a selection of liqueurs and gummy candies. Congratulations for the desire to be increasingly inclusive Recommended 👍🏻

06/06/2025: We had lunch here, and I have to say it was a vacation. A typical Italian small family restaurant. The food was good... not outstanding, but really good. It was a bit lacking in seasoning, and there was nothing on the table to add more seasoning. The portion was great and the price was great. We would definitely come back.

18/05/2025: I had the pleasure of dining in an excellent Apulian restaurant where traditional cuisine is the protagonist. The manager and his wife were very kind and welcoming, making the experience even more pleasant. We enjoyed fresh orecchiette, rich appetizers and truly exquisite meat, all prepared with great care. Also not to be missed is the bulk wine, a Primitivo with an intense flavor and perfect to accompany the meal.

08/07/2025: I highly recommend this place. At first glance, it might not seem appealing, but it's a true gem in the heart of Trieste. The food is delicious, the portions are really generous, and you can feel that it's cooked with love. It's a family-run restaurant with a genuinely warm and homely atmosphere. If you're wondering whether to eat here – don't think twice, just sit down and order something. One unique feature is that the menu changes daily. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. 03/07/2025: Last night sardines based menu... from appetizer to dessert!!! Excellent menu

28/06/2025: In the area for work we stop at this restaurant for lunch as it is close to the hotel where we are staying. Tables in the garden with a tent, the atmosphere is very nice even if when it is hot you can hear it a lot down there. A menu is not brought, a few dishes are offered, a take-away menu brought only after ordering and we discover many other dishes not offered. As advice I would say to leave a complete menu to the customer, at most the variations of the day are exposed verbally. Cacio e pepe unfortunately too liquid, while the squid ink is good. Very small bathroom along the corridor. The service is however kind and present. I count for a total of €40 per person, I do not argue about the amount, but since I did not have a menu the prices are not known, if you also give me a total amount without a detail the customer will never know the cost of each individual course.
