I had a great time. The guys are very welcoming and kind. I hadn't booked and they sat me down straight away, recommending the most traditional dish they had on the menu. Thank you very much Paola, truly TOP! Recommended in Trieste, in the center.

Very nice little place in the heart of the old area of ​​Trieste, Cavana. Inside, the room is located on the upper floor, with a beautiful view of the external area, where in summer you can taste traditional Triestina dishes and not in the cool streets of Cavana. Excellent I recommend it

I wish I had taken a picture of how beautiful and delicious my ( and all of my friends’ ) dishes looked! Too bad we ate it all immediately because of how good it all looked. We also got desserts and wine and we had a lot of fun! 10/10, never ate octopus that good in my life.

Pranzo a base di pesce tra amici, molto soddisfacente e gustoso. Locale piccolo ed a tratti un po’ “fumoso” (vista la cucina semi aperta). La qualità è sicuramente buona e il personale molto pronto e gentile.

06/04/2024: Small, welcoming place. Fast service, great food not too expensive. Maybe a couple less seats would help with privacy. I can recommend it and recommend booking as it was full during my visit. Even if it's a working day.
02/04/2024: This is how you imagine an Osteria in Trieste 👍. The selection and quality of the antipasti could hardly be better. The fish soup was great. The service was excellent. Of course the open Prosecco and the espresso too.🥂There were four of us and we hadn't made a reservation. But the server organized a great place for us. We'll definitely be happy to come back.
