07/03/2025: Great pizza, but no toilet. Just a thunderbolt from the Middle Ages, what's the point of that? The pizza with salami, sausages, gorgonzala and tuna was extremely tasty, I've never experienced anything like it. Great pizza for a good price. Given the name, I would have expected the potato dippers to be a dip... But they were also awesome.

23/03/2025: Was there for lunch 🤩The fish🐟, the vegetables and the potatoes were excellent 😋The service was super friendly and very accommodating and I also liked the ambience. Located directly at the Faro della Trieste, the lighthouse of Trieste. You have a wonderful view of the sea from the terrace, which is also beautifully designed. 30/03/2025: The atmosphere reminds of a pub, in reality it is more of a wine bar, suitable both for an aperitif with a glass of wine and canapés and for dinner, in the historic center. We come back here every year because the staff are kind and attentive and the food they offer is of high quality. Among the wines there is always something typical to try or some new winery. This time we tried the steak with potatoes and vegetables on the side, also exceptional. We will come back again to enjoy this place

I suggest they go to dinner for example at Eden in Sistiana to see what the raw fish plateau should be like (for the record x10)... place crossed out

30/03/2025: Maybe it went badly for us. Cold food. Mixed gratin with a flat taste and first course judged to be excellent with cold scampi. Excellent wine and environment.

15/02/2025: Super butcher shop! The products are really excellent and the guys who run it are young, friendly and know what they're doing! They always know how to give us the right advice! Super recommended!

31/01/2025: The restaurant offers both fresh butcher's products and delicatessen products prepared daily on site. I have been going to this business for three months during my lunch break. I have had the opportunity to try all the preparations offered and have always been very satisfied. Regarding gastronomy, there are things always present in the list, such as white and red meat preparations (e.g. rolls, wallets, morsels, meatballs) often stuffed with ham, cheese, mushrooms, etc., but then every day they are found also other dishes, from porchetta to hot sandwiches, assembled on the spot, and numerous side dishes, always excellent, including the baked potatoes, better than those made at home. On some occasions I have eaten first courses (pie, trofie, spaghetti), and I can give 5 stars for these too. I would like to point out on Thursday the arrival of fresh buffalo mozzarella from Campania, and the salami (of artisanal quality!) prepared by the owner and matured on site in a controlled temperature and humidity compartment are always available. I would also like to point out the courtesy of the owners, affable and always smiling, and the possibility of booking the dishes with a preventive WhatsApp message, in order to reduce delivery times. After the compliments there should be the criticisms, but honestly I don't know what to say, other than that, given the large offer of products, the space for consuming is limited to around ten places, and on some occasions, in moments of greater influx of customers, the place is a little crowded. But it doesn't happen that often. Clearly the problem does not exist in the case of take-away withdrawals. Last detail, the name "Butchery" is a little misleading, because in fact it is also a "super delicatessen" in all respects. Go, taste it and you'll see that you'll come back.

17/03/2025: We are a couple from Trento and we went to visit Trieste over the weekend. We ended up there by chance. Really nice and familiar place, excellent food. You can eat very well without spending too much. Very kind, friendly and nice owners. I recommend it because you can't go wrong there!

21/03/2025: Welcoming, intimate, warm place, with few well-spaced seats (great added value for me), excellent food. We ate the fixed menu (wine, sparkling water, appetizer, first course, second course, dessert and digestive). Everything was delicious, homemade (fresh pasta included), and with generous portions. If I have to find a single flaw, they could improve the extraction of the hood since we left the place with decidedly "smelly" clothes. But it is a flaw that many trattorias have with an open kitchen communicating with the room. Except for this, we spent a wonderful evening and will definitely return. One of the few "real" places left in the center of Trieste after the mass arrival of tourists. Absolutely correct price and in line with the quality of the food.

20/03/2025: Fixed menu, you don't choose, but worth it! Good quality, perfectly executed, fresh and top notch ingredients, don't miss it! Ps: call ahead, it is kind of tiny

04/11/2024: Winery located in Muggia, exquisite place and even more owners. Inside there are very few seats, it's like feeling at home. Traditional cuisine from "grandmother's recipes" are truly delicious. We took a platter of delicious cheeses, dumplings with fondue and chestnuts and a boiler plate, the photo of which is missing because it lasted too short. Wide choice of wines. A truly rare combination of kindness and sympathy Highly recommended!

01/11/2024: Mi è piaciuto moltissimo e sono stato davvero bene. Abbiamo ordinato un piatto di salumii e formaggi misti, la qualità della materia prima è stata ottima e anche il servizio è stato molto cordiale . Il posto e piccolo, ha pochissimi tavoli ma è molto bello, caratteristico e informale. Ci tornerò di sicuro! Bravi!

10/04/2025: Located on a hill, a little noisy environment. Excellent dishes and service. House red wine a little sour, but everything else ok.

06/04/2025: We ate well, it's a shame that there isn't a written menu (and consequently the possibility of checking the prices) and that when we paid we weren't given any receipt, but they simply told us orally the total to pay.
