An excellent experience at Trattoria Al Faro. The location is truly picturesque, just steps from the Vittoria Lighthouse, with a splendid view of the Gulf of Trieste. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner in a unique setting. Fresh fish, beautifully presented dishes with attention to detail, balanced portions and truly delightful flavors. Friendly and attentive service. A wonderful discovery that I recommend to anyone who wants to eat well in one of the most scenic areas of Trieste. 🌊🐟🍽️

Very good seafood restaurant, everything fresh and well prepared. The place is fabulous. The service is a bit lackluster.

The food and the view are truly excellent, but unfortunately the service is very negligent. I ordered wine, which was completely forgotten, then when I wanted to pay the bill the waiter forgot again, so I had to go to the till myself to pay. For this level of service, the price was too high!

The beautiful terrace unfortunately rained, but in its place there was a beautiful, extremely intense double rainbow, which somewhat compensated for it!

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. What can I say? The view was wonderful and the location was impeccable. I can't give the food 5 stars because it was a complete disappointment. The appetizer was wonderful (octopus, tomato, and basil salad), the first course was so-so; the sauce was good but too sweet (gnocchi with calamari), and I honestly didn't like the dessert; I found the pastry too dry, but the chocolate was good. My partner had a grilled scallops appetizer, which was delicious, but she didn't like the first course (pasta with scampi) because the fish was tasteless and the sauce (probably) had breadcrumbs added. Would I go back? Probably, but I would improve the service. Between the appetizer and the first course, we waited over 45 minutes (with the owner's apologies, but still too long). At least offer coffee, or just pretend...

Excellent food and a terrace with a stunning view! The homemade desserts are a must-try. Prices are in line with what's on offer. The staff is a little shy but friendly. I highly recommend it!

Just a 10-minute walk from our apartment, we discovered this wonderful restaurant. The terrace, overlooking the sea and the city, is unique, as is the cuisine. The fish was cooked perfectly, and a vegetarian option without garlic was available upon request. The house frizzante was light and sparkling, and the affogato for dessert couldn't have been better—no wonder in the city of coffee. The service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
