Excellent restaurant, under new management (I think it's been a year). The quality of the food is excellent, as is the service. The price is absolutely affordable.

I was tempted to give it 3 stars, but in the end I decided to give it 4 because we ate really well, and that remains the most important aspect for me. However, there are some details that, in my opinion, could be improved. The welcome was rather basic: a simple "hello" and little interaction. Considering that we were the only customers on the terrace when we arrived, I would have expected a little more attention. Another observation concerns the menu. Looking at the photos posted on Google in 2025, I had noticed a wider selection of first courses; today, the offerings seemed more limited, and I was initially a bit surprised. Fortunately, the waiter was very kind and helpful, accommodating our request and preparing an excellent "custom" first course for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The only comment about the food concerns the cold appetizer, which I found slightly underpriced for the price, especially when compared to the first courses, which were plentiful, well-prepared, and excellent value. Overall, I believe that greater attention to hospitality and customer service would make the experience even more enjoyable. Despite these observations, we were satisfied with the meal and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was excellent, the staff were very friendly, the location was perfect, and the food was excellent. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

Nice restaurant in Barcola (TS) with a beautiful view of the gulf. The jasmine-covered terrace is lovely. Quiet location. The food was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff.

An excellent experience at Trattoria Al Faro. The location is truly picturesque, just steps from the Vittoria Lighthouse, with a splendid view of the Gulf of Trieste. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner in a unique setting. Fresh fish, beautifully presented dishes with attention to detail, balanced portions and truly delightful flavors. Friendly and attentive service. A wonderful discovery that I recommend to anyone who wants to eat well in one of the most scenic areas of Trieste. 🌊🐟🍽️

Excellent seafood restaurant. Friendly and attentive service. Excellent risotto, mixed antipasto, and cod. Wide selection of wines by the glass. Gorgeous terrace surrounded by fragrant jasmine.

Very good seafood restaurant, everything fresh and well prepared. The place is fabulous. The service is a bit lackluster.
