Pizzeria Cucina di mare Marinato In Trieste

The pizza here is excellent, without a doubt. We visited three times and tried quite a few different pizzas, and the quality of the dough was consistently outstanding — fresh, perfectly prepared, and always the same high standard. I would definitely recommend the Quattro Formaggi, the pizza with the local cheese, and the Margherita. However, I would not recommend the pork pizza that the waiter suggested to us. The flavor was too overpowering, and the combination of toppings, including the pickles, didn’t work well together. A few things were disappointing, though. One day we came with our child and were charged a coperto for him, which I really don’t understand, especially since nothing was even set up for him. On another visit, we ordered French fries for him, but they forgot to bring them. Service was also noticeably slower compared with last year, when everything worked like clockwork. Overall, great pizza and excellent dough, but the service and a few details could definitely be improved.

Came at lunch when not too busy and was a very good experience. Waiter told us we were ordering too much and ultimately he was right as we were full even after paring it back. Food and service were both excellent, the pizza dough was exquisite and even the bread was better than most.

We came to Trieste, as usual, to eat fantastic ice cream... but the group decided to eat something first... It was our first time at Marinato Trieste, but we were not disappointed... Neapolitan-style pizza... (PS. The owner is from Naples...) I especially recommend Capriciossa... A must-try if you want to eat real pizza... I recommend it.

Mixed experience. We loved the starter and my partner thoroughly enjoyed his pizza! Unfortunately, I ordered the daily special, which was far too salty, and the waiter even grimaced when I ordered it. Some of the staff were a bit unfriendly. I think it's a tourist trap.

Super nice place, overlooking the sea. The bread is delicious, the pizza is good but nothing special. The carbonara arrived a little overcooked for our tastes; I don't know, it tasted salty, but not so much pecorino cheese (maybe we're just too picky ;) The fried shrimp were too good! Overall, a nice place, and yes, the food is good.

The service was very courteous, the food was delivered quickly and was very tasty. Prices were also reasonable.

We had a wonderful dinner at Marinato. We ordered the seafood risotto with clams, squid, and shellfish, a sea bass, and spaghetti carbonara. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The seafood was especially delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. We truly enjoyed our experience and would happily return. Highly recommended!
