Nice location but with kitsch details, friendly service that puts you at ease, meat-only menu with abundant presence of horse meat, average quality of raw materials, huge portions, very correct bill, overall worth trying

Here you can eat every meat specialty, grilled, tartare, scottona, Angus, excellent dishes and delicious palacinche. Excellent service, average price!!!

Che dire, é la seconda volta che ci andiamo a mangiare e mi stupisco ancora di quanta cura e qualità ci siano nei piatti e nel servizio. Una scoperta, una gemma in quel di Lazzaretto. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie!

31/03/2024: I had the pleasure, thanks to a company, of being invited to lunch in this wonderful location. They welcomed us with a spectacular entrée... appetizer with octopus... difficult to explain but a work of art to the eye and the palate. Pasta with spider crab and datterino tomatoes... everything perfect. Important flavors... very fresh and tasty raw materials. Friendly staff... attentive.. a real discovery and new favorite place to eat fish in Trieste!!!
29/03/2024: Historic caffe in Trieste. Lots of impressing history inside. However, very average coffee and bad service.
