25/07/2024: It is almost the only place in this area that serves the hungry guests who come here instead of the afternoon siesta, and it does it well, because apparently many people visit them. The food is fine and the waiters are attentive.

16/08/2024: We went to this place to celebrate birthday, and for sure this evening will be remembered. Great service, everybody is smilling and are keen to help, food is just marvelous, lettuce in a dish with pigeon is simply amazing trust me, you won't regret. So if you are in Trieste, simply come and eat here. Seriously.

07/08/2024: Al Petes did not disappoint, on the contrary. Food (tasting menu in our case) was wonderful with a nice variety, presentation and not the least taste. Impeccable service, topped by a nice, energetic and passionate sommerlier. The outdoor seating was providing a lovely, quiet and cosy atmosphere.

01/09/2024: Delicious, creamy and fatty, but good! Homemade bubbly is a panacea, a prelude before discovering that even if you are full and satisfied you want to continue eating.

25/08/2024: The best meatballs in Trieste!! A show with three protagonists: normal, without garlic and spicy. I recommend going before the lunch rush because they disappear in a flash. Historic and always crowded buffet, many people who work in the area choose it for lunch because here you can taste the home-made products, the ones that your grandmother prepared. Personally, every time I have to go to these parts for work I arrange to have lunch, last week a hand-cut cooked ham sandwich with mustard.... and I left happy and satisfied.

31/07/2024: My girlfriend and I each had a different pizza and we were both very satisfied. The pizza was excellent and the service was very nice and friendly. There is a lot of interest in the pizzeria, they have a lot of reservations, yet they seated us. Prices were acceptable. We have already reserved a table for the next day.

13/08/2024: It was horrible. Maybe because we came in the ,,sleep" time, but our waiter was a complete a..hole. He newrly tossed our food in front of us. We had to tell the waiter three times that he forgot two dishes. And when he came to take our orderthe waiter didnt even asked if he could pick it up. The food was good amd the robot was cute. Thats why I gave it two stars. And the DUCKING service fee was 3.50 euro?!

09/08/2024: Good food excellent service the location in the evening really nice the only flaw is that they brought me a course of mussels where inside there were only 15 mussels of which unfortunately two were empty, then they make you pay for the bread separately you pay the cover charge But it's not including bread However, overall I had a good time and I think I will return

10/08/2024: Amazing patisserie with so many options, all entirely gluten free! If you're wheat free as well you may wish to enquire more as I don't know if they use gluten free wheat products. Literally the best gf croissants I've ever had - don't miss them! They also have lots of pretty little tarts etc, bread, doughnuts, foccacia, sandwiches etc. Be aware that the bread and doughnuts won't be ready until a little later in the morning, even though they open at 8. The staff were all really friendly and helpful about explaining products to me. Lots of lactose free options too and some vegan.

04/08/2024: Beautiful place, wide choice of vegan and celiac products. Excellent and very kind service. The place is also very aesthetically pleasing. The quality is high, consequently the prices are too.

26/07/2024: We relied on this bakery for packed lunches for our parish school camp. Excellent value for money and above all great kindness and helpfulness!

11/08/2024: We arrived just before it closed, the staff was very kind! We were struck by the very beautiful and characteristic place. Quality dishes made with care. The gnocchi with bacon ragù were not available because the raw material (potatoes) that would allow the dish to be made properly, with the right consistency, was missing. Alternatively I opted for penne with toasted tomatoes, pesto and crispy speck! Truly excellent and highly recommended as well as close to the castle of San Giusto.

31/07/2024: Typical tavern at the foot of the San Giusto Castle, it hides from the outside, but once inside the whole story explodes inside. Atmospheric decor Few tables, I recommend booking. Fast, attentive service. Few dishes, always much appreciated. Excellent quality (the stew was very soft, the cheese ravioli delicious, the best aubergine flan ever, selection of particular cheeses). Price in line with the quality

10/08/2024: Lunch with friends and family was nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely coming back. Absolutely sublime truffle-based dishes. Super recommended

06/08/2024: Best quality. Attentive and precise service. Special dishes that tell the story of the territory. THE Desserts always from 10. The choice of wines is also excellent. If you have dogs, inform the owners because I didn't do it and they didn't like it very much.

30/07/2024: Very good meal! Note: excellent desserts, which is rare. The welcome is simple and elegant, the service discreet and warm. We would like to come back to Trieste to eat at Nerodiseppia trattoria again.
