06/01/2026: Excellent experience. Superlative food. Young staff very attentive to the customer. Especially since they don't have a wine list, but we discuss the best option together before tasting. Compliments (especially from the 11-year-old who devoured a fantastic ham hock).

02/12/2025: A very traditional and rustic place, recommended for those like me who want to experience the place authentically and eat fresh produce! The pasta with clams is exceptional, the grilled scallops are excellent. The staff is friendly and cheerful, very welcoming!

16/12/2025: A small restaurant near San Giusto. Refined and delicious dishes, especially the chestnut and mushroom cream soup and the Fassona beef carpaccio. And to finish, homemade desserts.

13/11/2025: This time, I was completely sold on the trattoria in every way. A special mention goes to the waiters. They were all very kind and helpful, and to the choice of only having wines from nearby wineries. Otherwise, everything was truly good, and the prices were fair. The cover charge could perhaps be lower, but they were still good!

The restaurant is quiet and well-kept, but not very large.
The portions are unfortunately small, especially the appetizers.
Average quality.

Prices are in line with the quality of the place.

26/11/2025: Nice, well-kept atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, fried calamari a little too dry - perhaps they should have been taken out of the oil first - price a little above average.
23/11/2025: We arrived for lunch after calling to see if there was room.
An employee (I think the owner) showed us a seat after a somewhat rough welcome.
As soon as we were at the table, he didn't even let us sit down and asked what we wanted to drink.
"Hold on, let's see what we have."
Very rudely, he told us they only served fish.
I replied that I don't eat fish, but my wife does.
In response, he told us they served fish from the appetizer to the end, without even offering a side dish or any other option. He shrugged his shoulders and made it clear it wasn't his problem.
We had no choice but to walk away, say goodbye, and he didn't even look at us.

18/12/2025: Very good fish, traditional recipes with well-balanced combinations that showcase the diverse flavors. The location is typical, the service is truly warm and friendly, and the prices are perhaps slightly higher than expected. In any case, a recommended choice.
18/12/2025: If you want to eat good fish dishes, this little osteria is for you. It's a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are helpful, the prices are fair, and the food is slurpable!

04/01/2026: I can't comment on the food because, despite having booked for the evening on Saturday morning, January 3, 2025, I found the restaurant closed. There wasn't even a sign apologizing, and obviously they didn't let me know. I don't think this is Triestine hospitality. However, people like this make an entire community look bad.

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful view.
27/08/2025: Very tasty food, large portions, a wonderful view from the restaurant, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of greenery.
We ordered the grilled mixed meat and sliced horse meat with ricotta cheese and mushrooms, bread, fries, salad, and drinks.
A small downside: After arriving, we sat for 10-15 minutes without the waiter's attention.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant.

07/01/2026: Excellent experience in every way... beautiful location in the center of Trieste, very kind and helpful staff, and above all, we ate very well! The meatballs were extremely good and quite large :) Cevapcici with potatoes in tecia were also very good. The fried food was also excellent, and the price was reasonable (€80 for three, all inclusive).
I highly recommend it!!
