06/08/2026: This is not a review of the restaurant, but of the accommodation.
We spent 1 night here (booked through Booking). Everything was clean and perfectly prepared. The only thing missing was a plug for the bathtub. I inadvertently stated the wrong number of people when booking, but we eventually resolved it with the accommodation by paying extra. The breakfast was rather modest, so the selection was not very rich. The breakfast price only includes one coffee – it was delicious and honestly prepared, but you have to pay extra for each additional one.

17/07/2026: We discovered this pizzeria by chance two years ago and were recently back.
The pizzas are incredible; the dough is airy inside and crispy on the outside.
The tomato sauce has a fruity flavor that adds a wonderful freshness.
The sheer number of options almost compels us to make another visit soon.
Don't be afraid to try something new!
24/06/2026: Adding an extra €4 for a frozen and reheated gluten-free pizza is bordering on illegal.

26/07/2026: We found this restaurant by chance because it's close to our B&B and because we arrived late, around 9 pm. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they serve grilled meat. We ordered two mixed grills, one French fry, and one portion of grilled vegetables. Everything was excellent, and the portions were generous. At the end of the dinner, they offered us an amazing sorbet. Two grilled meats, a bottle of water, a half-liter of wine, and two side dishes were €60 (sorbet included). I'd say it's fair. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. I definitely think we'll be back!

Be careful not to order the thief as an appetizer because I have to eat it all myself, otherwise I won't be able to eat it when I come here!! 😁 The tartare is absolutely delicious. If you like frozen fries, then this isn't the place for you; they only serve real potatoes. What can I say? The fillet steak is delicious in its various versions. The atmosphere is very familiar and relaxed; this place is a truly positive discovery.

03/08/2026: Passing through Trieste for a day, we stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. There's no wine list; you simply chat with the owner and follow his recommendations (he's a true wine enthusiast). The food is absolutely excellent. If we ever return to Trieste, we'll definitely go back!

03/08/2026: Authentic, simple in a good way, tasteful. Will visit again. Fried baccalà and breaded sardoni are top choices, they employed high quality fish.

The owner was very kind and made recommendations based on our tastes. We ordered seafood dishes, which gave us a great start to our holiday. Generous portions and excellent ingredients. 15/12/2025: Believe me, the pizza at this place is extraordinary, sublime, superb. You can tell a good pizza just by looking at it... Number One's cooking method makes it the best pizza I've had in a while!!! Fresh ingredients, not too few, not too many. The perfect pizza. And not only that, but also the eggplant, the fried calamari... Enza the chef works magic with her hands, and Lina makes the restaurant a welcoming and family-friendly place. The sausage and broccoli rabe are just too much!
06/12/2025: Fabulous pizzeria! Among the delicious pizzas, I recommend the panuozzo. Try it and believe it. The owner, Mr. Ciccio, is great.

06/07/2026: We celebrated a birthday with friends at this historic osteria in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are regulars, fond of Silvia, the owner, who served us with warm hospitality, kindness, and courtesy. The dishes were excellent, starting with the "sardoni impanài" and the spaghetti with clams, expertly prepared, and finishing with the Chantilly cake, expertly prepared by a pastry chef. We highly recommend it!
