01/05/2026: We were there for lunch today, May 1st. We had a nice table, excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, we had a great time.
15/04/2026: Mediocre, it doesn't respect the ingredients on the menu. The risotto was missing scallops and the prawns only had scallops that weren't mentioned. However, having been born a sea fisherman, I reply that the scallops weren't there at all.

09/05/2026: Excellent pizzas, except for the gluten-free and vegan ones, which are a bit sparse and a bit "thrown up"... Very nice place. I recommend it, but not for celiacs or those with other dietary issues, at least for now...

Pasta with squid ink was actually buttered pasta with supermarket tagliolini with squid ink.
After years, we can say it was the last time.
Terrible.

01/03/2026: A very charming place with attention to detail. The owner was very kind and friendly.
We shared bites of buffalo mozzarella seasoned with olive oil and oregano, which were delicious, and ate sandwiches with hand-sliced local prosciutto, delicious—I'd say they were top quality!
The red wine was very good.
Highly recommended.

Seating is available outdoors, under the awning, and indoors. Professional and attentive staff. Excellent pizza.

08/05/2026: I couldn't have found a worse place.
A sort of fixed menu for €18, including an embarrassing cod tartine and something that should have been a sautéed mussels.
When we asked for a bottle of wine, the waiter insisted on "cashing in right away"... never happened in my life! I felt ashamed for them... never, ever again in this awful place.
Grand finale: we were served two portions of calamari and the question was "What do you want, two squids too?"... Shame on you!
06/05/2026: When you come to the restaurant after shopping🙈 and you come at a time when it is closed, but the restaurant is family-run, it is run by our people, wrestle and when the owner tells you that it is not a problem, he will arrange something, and he will arrange a delicious fish platter for two and treat you to an excellent cod spread. 04/05/2026: Family-run restaurant (Massimo and his wife) where the food is truly superb. It's an old-school trattoria unlike any other around.
The fish tartare is highly recommended, but everything else we ordered was out of this world.

The fish ljublianka is highly recommended, and the tiramisu is a true delight...
If you're in Trieste, you absolutely must stop by.
18/04/2026: The food was poor considering the 88 euro bill. The restroom was also awful. Overall, not worth recommending.

15/04/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed myself on their quiet little terrace with the buzz of conversation in the background, just not too far away.
Delicious tuna gnocchi, mouthwatering octopus with pumpkin, and a masterful pistachio dessert. The divine wine from Skerk accompanied everything beautifully. Well worth a visit, don't hesitate!
