We greatly appreciated both the property, with a room that was actually a mini-apartment, and the welcoming atmosphere, as well as Patty's delicious and refined cuisine. Added to this were Villiam's helpfulness and his invaluable advice for our excursions, as well as the kindness and courtesy of the entire staff. 15/10/2025: Excellent quality ingredients, delicious tortelli paired with an equally excellent wine. It's nice to find a place where you can feel comfortable, the only downside is the small space. As they say, "comes in a small barrel..."

29/08/2025: To err is human, but to persevere is diabolical..!! I ordered a rare fillet with porcini mushrooms, and after more than half an hour (the room was very small), a grilled fillet arrived, rare but frozen. I point out that after 2 minutes the waitress comes and pretends to have made a mistake with the order and asks me, "Didn't you want it super rare?" I replied, "Rare with porcini mushrooms," and it arrived cold, not with porcini mushrooms. I send it back, and after 2 minutes it comes with the fillet cut into pieces, ricotta in porcini mushrooms. I eat to leave. But when it comes to the bill, it's not possible. I wanted the discount, but at least the correct invoice to clear the bill. I repeated to him more than once that the SDI wasn't present, and he pretended not to. Nothing. The point is, if you don't want to work, close!

13/10/2025: A very beautiful park, partly grassy and partly wooded, with a picnic and barbecue area. It sits on a small hilltop, offering beautiful views of both the Reggio Emilia plain and the hills towards the Apennines. There's also a bar/restaurant. The only downside is the outdoor restrooms, which are in absolutely TERRIBLE condition, clearly not cleaned in a while and full of cobwebs. The restroom at the bar wasn't very nice either, even though it was morning and the park was still mostly empty. Otherwise, it's truly worth the visit; it's a beautiful oasis just a short distance from Reggio Emilia. Five stars for the park, one star for the restrooms.

17/08/2025: The park is easily accessible with parking. Many well-marked and maintained trails offer beautiful hillside views. There's a café for rest and lunch, along with a well-equipped picnic area. A good starting point for hill walking.

11/10/2025: I hadn't been here in years, and I have to say it exceeded all expectations. The food was excellent!!! The meat melted in your mouth (I'm not a meat fan, but I loved it here); the tortelli were absolutely delicious, delicate, sweet, and with the sautéed vegetables, excellent; the gnocco and tigelle were truly delicious. Perhaps the gnocco was a little dry, but that's a matter of taste because the flavor was very good, and the cured meat was excellent too. The atmosphere was truly beautiful and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and above all, attentive to detail.
