There were six of us for lunch, and we enjoyed a menu featuring gnocco fritto, cured meats, first courses, desserts, wine, and liqueurs. I'll start with the highlight: the gnocco fritto was perhaps the best I've ever eaten. The cured meats were top-notch, top-quality, and you can taste it right away. The first courses were all spot-on, with nothing out of place. Carefully prepared dishes, clear flavors, no unnecessary special effects: the cooking here is excellent, period. The desserts? A blast. The ending was a great one. Service was quick, the staff attentive and friendly. The dining room is bright, well-kept, and truly comfortable. But what strikes you most is the feeling of attention to every detail: ingredients, cuisine, service. And then the final detail: the price, absolutely consistent. When you leave feeling so satisfied, without finding a single flaw, there's little to go around: a great restaurant.

I'm not giving it my all because I only visited it for a company dinner, so I can't fully evaluate its quality. The location (even though I visited it at night, and in a lot of fog) seemed beautiful, and the building was well-maintained. However, the road to get there is particularly narrow and poorly lit in the last stretch. I rate the food quality as more than good; I was disappointed that the appetizers were a bit too cold (including the Erbazzone appetizer 😢), but I'll justify that by the need to prepare in advance for 150 diners. I'll try to return on quieter occasions to fully appreciate it.

What a wonderful discovery! A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their helpfulness and kindness: they welcomed us with a genuine smile and were always available to answer our every request. The staff was incredibly helpful, from the little touches to the details of our wedding planning, which made all the difference. The atmosphere was perfect both for celebrating an event and for a dinner in a peaceful, warm setting with attention to detail. A special thank you to Antonella, Lisa, and Sara for their patience and kindness: you made us feel right at home. We will gladly return! YOU MADE OUR DAY WONDERFUL!

08/03/2026: My partner and I went for dinner expecting it to be one of the classic taverns in the lower Reggio Emilia area that we enjoy frequenting, but instead we were surprised to find an elegant and refined atmosphere. The dishes were truly delicious, with a good wine selection and prompt, courteous service, despite the fact that there was a large event at the table that evening.
05/03/2026: Nestled in the countryside, a refined, clean atmosphere, excellent service, and above all, delicious food. A wonderful surprise.

22/04/2026: A group of 8 of us arrived at closing time and they treated us wonderfully! The food was also excellent, highly recommended!
09/03/2026: I visited Cadauno with dear friends who frequent the restaurant regularly; for my wife and I, however, it was the first time. I found the setting to be refined and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is quite varied and able to satisfy different tastes. For an appetizer, I tried their snails à la bourguignonne, which, despite being a slight reinterpretation of the classic recipe (shellless and lightly breaded), I found them to be truly delicious. In some ways, I considered the reinterpretation almost an improvement. For the second course, I couldn't help but choose their signature Spaghetti alla Giulio Cesare (Gragnano pasta with Karl Bernardi pancetta, cherry tomatoes, chili pepper, and organic Tuscan pecorino): an excellent dish, perfectly balanced. Kudos also to the wine cellar, well-stocked and with wines to suit every budget. The service was attentive and professional despite it being a Saturday night and a packed restaurant. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. I definitely think I'll be back.
