12/04/2026: Excellent gluten-free pizza! Truly amazing gluten-free pizza, one of the best I've ever had. You can immediately tell how much care they put into choosing the ingredients, all of which are top-quality. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable: we accidentally took chili pepper oil from the gluten-free pizza counter to top a regular pizza, and they kindly took it away from us, specifying that it was reserved exclusively for the gluten-free pizza. This made me realize how careful they are to avoid even the slightest risk of cross-contamination. Since we were there on a Saturday night, the place was very crowded; the space is large and noisy, so don't expect an intimate atmosphere, and the serving times were not synchronized (the "regular" pizzas arrived later). However, the pizza was so delicious that these small inconveniences were easily overlooked. Highly recommended!

What's never lacking is the smile and kindness they always have, even in the most chaotic moments—and that's not a given! La Vela is a surefire place if you're craving a great pizza in Parma!

11/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times, but on the evening of February 20th, when I invited two friends and made a terrible impression myself, I was so disappointed that I no longer consider it a serious restaurant. We arrived at 8:00 PM and, seeing as we were finished (we were served lightning fast, my friend was still finishing his raw ham dish when the main course arrived), we were asked to leave the table because there were people there who were having dinner. We were speechless, considering the prices are definitely not like those of a pizzeria, where I would expect them to take turns, but if that were the case, I would expect to be notified when booking (in this case, it didn't happen). Sometimes, to please more customers, others are lost...

19/04/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent food. The service was friendly and very attentive. In my opinion, the house wine was too expensive for its taste, but I'm still giving it 5 stars because the location and the food more than made up for it.

Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was impeccable: attentive, friendly, and always on point, without ever making the crowds feel overwhelming. The quality of the products is simply extraordinary. Exceptional cured meats, with an authentic and refined flavor, accompanied by truly superb Grana Padano cheese, the kind you won't easily forget. A special mention goes to the tortelli alle erbette: delicate, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, a true tribute to Parma's tradition. A place that wins you over from the first bite and undoubtedly deserves to be thoroughly enjoyed. I'll definitely be back!

10/11/2025: The charcuterie board is amazing, and the hearty fritters and horsemeat tartare are delicious. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. If you're in Parma city center, it's a must!

Here, only tasting menus are offered, which you can choose in advance when booking, thus reducing waste and consumption: a beautiful philosophy. What you do here can become special; if you know how to trust them, the exchange will be fascinating. I have a memory of this place that will become indelible, an indissoluble memory. Thanks to these precious exchanges of travel stories, conversations full of the history of producers, wines, and restaurants. Of past lives and new generations. Increasingly rare comparisons, to be jealously guarded. Mariella is an inexorable well of wisdom. We will return.

13/04/2026: One can sit here for days. Apart from the amazing natural wine selection and food, this place is much more than that. The staff brings the soul to this place in the middle of the city and the local visitors make it feel like a community in a very unpretentious, relaxed and stylish way. Despite of the huge wine selection, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right fit for you. They are also very local produce oriented, thus you can enjoy artisan charcuterie from small batch producers, which you can’t find elsewhere. A truly amaaazing and unforgettable place, can’t wait to come back again!

12/04/2026: A small wine shop in the heart of Parma, just steps from the main square. An authentic spot with excellent service and a carefully curated selection of local wines. Highlights include the Malvasia Rosa from Camillo Donati and the Bieffebielle Vino Rosso from Podere Bagnolo, both full of character and very representative of the region. They also offer artisanal cured meats and cheeses, perfect for pairing. Highly recommended for enjoying local products at your leisure.
